[Machine] The passage translates to:

"The 'Asr prayer, and this is the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that we used to pray with him."  

الْعَصْرُ وَهَذِهِ صَلَاةُ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الَّتِي كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَهُ  

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "That is the prayer of the hypocrite, he sits watching the sun until it is between the horns of the devil, then he stands and performs four (rak'ahs) without mentioning Allah except a little. This is the wording of the hadith of Abu al-Rabi'."  

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ تِلْكَ صَلَاةُ الْمُنَافِقِ يَجْلِسُ يَرْقُبُ الشَّمْسَ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَتْ بَيْنَ قَرْنَيِ الشَّيْطَانِ قَامَ فَنَقَرَهَا أَرْبَعًا لَا يَذْكُرُ اللهَ ﷻ فِيهَا إِلَّا قَلِيلًا لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ أَبِي الرَّبِيعِ  

We came upon Anas b. Malik after the Zuhr prayer. He stood for saying the 'Asr prayer. When he became free from praying, we mentioned to him about observing prayer in its early period or he himself mentioned it. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: This is how hypocrites pray, this is how hypocrites pray, this is how hypocrites pray: He sits (watching the sun), and when it becomes yellow and is between the horns of the devil, or is on the horns of the devil, he rises and prays for rak'ahs quickly, remembering Allah only seldom during them. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 413)   

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ تِلْكَ صَلَاةُ الْمُنَافِقِينَ تِلْكَ صَلَاةُ الْمُنَافِقِينَ تِلْكَ صَلَاةُ الْمُنَافِقِينَ يَجْلِسُ أَحَدُهُمْ حَتَّى إِذَا اصْفَرَّتِ الشَّمْسُ فَكَانَتْ بَيْنَ قَرْنَيِ الشَّيْطَانِ أَوْ عَلَى قَرْنَيِ الشَّيْطَانِ قَامَ فَنَقَرَهَا أَرْبَعًا لَا يَذْكُرُ اللهَ ﷻ فِيهَا إِلَّا قَلِيلًا  

[Machine] We were with Buraida during a battle on a cloudy day. He said, "Hurry up and pray the Asr (afternoon) prayer, for indeed the Prophet ﷺ said, 'Whoever abandons the Asr prayer, their deeds will be in vain.'"  

كُنَّا مَعَ بُرَيْدَةَ فِي غَزْوَةٍ فِي يَوْمٍ ذِي غَيْمٍ فَقَالَ بَكِّرُوا بِصَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ فَإِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ تَرَكَ صَلَاةَ الْعَصْرِ حَبِطَ عَمَلُهُ  

"We were with the Messenger of Allah on a campaign, and he said: 'Hasten to perform prayer on a cloudy day, for whoever misses the 'Asr prayer, all his good deeds will be in vain.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 694)   

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي بَعْضِ غَزَوَاتِهِ فَقَالَ بَكِّرُوا بِالصَّلَاةِ فِي يَوْمِ الْغَيْمِ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ تَرَكَ صَلَاةَ الْعَصْرِ حَبِطَ عَمَلُهُ  

[Machine] "That which is missed of the Asr prayer is as if one has lost his wealth and children."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الَّذِي تَفُوتُهُ صَلَاةُ الْعَصْرِ كَأَنَّمَا وُتِرَ مَالَهُ وَوَلَدَهُ  

Anyone who loses his 'Asr prayer is like a person whose family has perished and whose property has been plundered. Abu Dawud said: 'Abd Allah b. 'Umar narrated the word utira (instead of wutira, meaning perished). The dispute on this point goes back to Ayyub. Al-Zuhri reported from Salim on the authority of this father from the Prophet ﷺ the word 'wutira'. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 414)   

النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فِي الَّذِي تَفُوتُهُ صَلَاةُ الْعَصْرِ كَأَنَّمَا وُتِرَ أَهْلَهُ وَمَالَهُ  

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet, ﷺ : "Whoever misses the Asr prayer, it is as if he has lost his family and wealth." Ali said, "I said to Sufyan, 'Indeed, the son of Abu Dhi'b narrates from Nawfal ibn Mu'awiya, who heard the Prophet, ﷺ .' So Sufyan said, 'I have heard it from him, and my heart preserved it just as you have preserved it from Salim who heard it from his father.'"  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ فَاتَهُ الْعَصْرُ فَكَأَنَّمَا وُتِرَ أَهْلَهُ وَمَالَهُ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ قُلْتُ لِسُفْيَانَ فَإِنَّ ابْنَ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ يُسْنِدُهُ عَنْ نَوْفَلِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْهُ وَوَعَاهُ قَلْبِي وَحَفِظْتُهُ كَمَا أَنَّكَ هَاهُنَا عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Whoever misses a prayer, it is as if his family and wealth have been taken away." Ibn Shihab said, "So I said, 'O Abu Bakr, do you know which prayer he is referring to?' Ibn Shihab said, 'It has reached me that Abdullah ibn Umar ibn Al-Khattab said that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, 'Whoever misses the Asr prayer, it is as if his family and wealth have been taken away.'" Abu Dawood At-Tiyalisi narrated this hadith from Ibn Abi Dhi'b and said in the end, "Az-Zuhri mentioned this to Salim, so he said, 'My father narrated to me that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said, "Whoever leaves the Asr prayer"'." Salih ibn Kaysan narrated this hadith from Ibn Shihab, from Abu Bakr ibn Abdul Rahman ibn Al-Harith, from Abdul Rahman ibn Muti' ibn Al-Aswad, from Nawfal ibn Mu'awiyah, similar to the hadith of Abu Huraira, meaning it was narrated from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, regarding tribulations, except that Abu Bakr added, 'And the prayer is the prayer of whoever misses it, it is as if his family and wealth have been taken away.' And it is mentioned in the Sahihain (Bukhari and Muslim) and the hadith is preserved by both of them."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ فَاتَتْهُ الصَّلَاةُ فَكَأَنَّمَا وُتِرَ أَهْلَهُ وَمَالَهُ قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ فَقُلْتُ يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ أَتَدْرِي أَيَّةَ صَلَاةٍ هِيَ؟ قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ إِنَّهُ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ فَاتَتْهُ صَلَاةُ الْعَصْرِ فَكَأَنَّمَا وُتِرَ أَهْلَهُ وَمَالَهُ وَرَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ وَقَالَ فِي آخِرِهِ قَالَ الزُّهْرِيُّ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِسَالِمٍ فَقَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ تَرَكَ صَلَاةَ الْعَصْرِ وَقَدْ رَوَى صَالِحُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُطِيعِ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ نَوْفَلِ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ يَعْنِي عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فِي الْفِتَنِ إِلَّا أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ يَزِيدُ فِيهِ وَمَنِ الصَّلَاةِ صَلَاةُ مَنْ فَاتَتْهُ فَكَأَنَّمَا وُتِرَ أَهْلَهُ وَمَالَهُ وَهُوَ مُخَرَّجٌ فِي الصَّحِيحَيْنِ وَالْحَدِيثُ مَحْفُوظٌ عَنْهُمَا جَمِيعًا  

[Machine] "And pray the night prayer, in addition to a third of it or a little less or more, and recite the Quran in a measured manner. Indeed, We will charge you with a word of weight. Indeed, the hours of the night are more effective for concurrence [of heart and tongue] and more suitable for words. Indeed, for you by day is prolonged occupation. And remember the name of your Lord and devote yourself to Him with complete devotion. He is the Lord of the East and the West; there is no deity except Him, so take Him as Disposer of your affairs. And be patient over what they say and avoid them with gracious avoidance. And leave Me with [the matter of] the deniers, those of ease [in life], and allow them respite a little. We have shackles with which We bind them, and they are in chains. And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see. It is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe. You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register."  

وَأَنْ صَلِّ الْعَتَمَةَ مَا بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَ ثُلُثِ اللَّيْلِ فَإِنْ أَخَّرْتَ فَإِلَى شَطْرِ اللَّيْلِ وَلَا تَكُنْ مِنَ الْغَافِلِينَ قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ مَوْلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ؓ كَتَبَ إِلَى عُمَّالِهِ إِنَّ أَهَمَّ أَمَرِكُمْ عِنْدِي الصَّلَاةُ مَنْ حَفِظَهَا أَوْ حَافَظَ عَلَيْهَا حَفِظَ دِينَهُ وَمَنْ ضَيَّعَهَا فَهُوَ لِمَا سِوَاهَا أَضَيْعُ وَكَتَبَ أَنْ صَلُّوا الظُّهْرَ إِذَا كَانَ الْفَيْءُ ذِرَاعًا إِلَى أَنْ يَكُونَ ظِلُّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مِثْلَهُ وَالْعَصْرَ وَالشَّمْسُ بَيْضَاءُ نَقِيَّةٌ قَدْرَ مَا يَسِيرُ الرَّاكِبُ فَرْسَخَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثَةً وَالْمَغْرِبَ إِذَا غَرَبَتِ الشَّمْسُ وَالْعِشَاءَ إِذَا غَابَ الشَّفَقُ إِلَى ثُلُثِ اللَّيْلِ فَمَنْ نَامَ فَلَا نَامَتْ عَيْنُهُ فَمَنْ نَامَ فَلَا نَامَتْ عَيْنُهُ فَمَنْ نَامَ فَلَا نَامَتْ عَيْنُهُ وَالصُّبْحُ وَالنُّجُومُ بَادِيَةٌ مُشْتَبِكَةٌ فَمَنْ نَامَ فَلَا نَامَتْ عَيْنُهُ  

[Machine] She came to Aisha in the women of the people of Kufa, so we said, "O Mother of the Believers, we ask you about the timing of prayers." She said, "Sit down," so we sat down. When it was the hour that you call midday, she got up and prayed with us while standing in the middle. When she finished, I said to her, "O Mother of the Believers, we pray this prayer in our lands at midday." She said, "This is the prayer of the family of Muhammad ﷺ ." Then we sat down. When it was the hour that you call between the prayers, she prayed Asr with us. We said to her, "O Mother of the Believers, we pray this prayer in our lands between the prayers." She said, "This is the prayer of the family of Muhammad ﷺ . The family of Muhammad ﷺ does not pray Asr." She said, "If it was someone other than Aisha, we would think that she already prayed Maghrib before it was due. But I know that Aisha does not pray except at the time when it becomes due and she recited aloud in Maghrib, so women from the people of Sham sought permission from her and she said, 'Do not give them permission, as they are the ones who frequent the public baths.'"  

أَنَّهَا أَتَتْ عَائِشَةَ فِي نِسْوَةٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ فَقُلْنَا يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ نَسْأَلُكِ عَنْ مَوَاقِيتِ الصَّلَوَاتِ قَالَتْ اجْلِسْنَ فَجَلَسْنَا فَلَمَّا كَانَتِ السَّاعَةُ الَّتِي تَدْعُونَهَا نِصْفَ النَّهَارِ قَامَتْ فَصَلَّتْ بِنَا وَهِيَ قَائِمَةٌ وَسْطَنَا فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَتْ قُلْتُ لَهَا يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِنَا نَدْعُو هَذِهِ فِي بِلَادِنَا نِصْفَ النَّهَارِ قَالَتْ هَذِهِ صَلَاتُنَا آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ ثُمَّ جَلَسْنَا فَلَمَّا كَانَتِ السَّاعَةُ الَّتِي تَدْعُونَهَا بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ صَلَّتْ بِنَا الْعَصْرَ فَقُلْنَا لَهَا يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِنَّا نَدْعُو هَذِهِ فِي بِلَادِنَا بَيْنَ الصَّلَاتَيْنِ قَالَتْ هَذِهِ صَلَاتُنَا آلُ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ إِنَّا آلُ مُحَمَّدٍ لَا نُصَلِّي الصَّفْرَاءَ قَالَتْ ثُمَّ جَلَسْنَا فَلَوْ كَانَ غَيْرَ عَائِشَةَ لَظَنَنَّا أَنَّهَا قَدْ صَلَّتِ الْمَغْرِبَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَجِبَ وَلَكِنْ قَدْ عَرَفْتُ أَنْ عَائِشَةَ لَا تُصَلِّي إِلَّا عِنْدَ الْوَقْتِ حِينَ وَجَبَتْ وَجَهَرَتْ بِالْقِرَاءَةِ فِي الْمَغْرِبِ فَاسْتَأْذَنَ عَلَيْهَا نِسْوَةٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ فَقَالَتْ لَا تَأْذَنِي لَهُنَّ صَوَاحِبِ الْحَمَّامَاتِ
