[Machine] I asked Khabbab if the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite in the first and third units (of prayer). He said, "Yes." I asked, "How did you know that?" He said, "Because of the movement of his beard, it was evident in the two authentic narrations from Al-A'mash, and it indicates that he used to move his tongue while reciting."  

سَأَلْتُ خَبَّابًا أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْأُولَى وَالْعَصْرِ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ قُلْنَا بِأَيِّ شَيْءٍ كُنْتُمْ تَعْرِفُونَ ذَاكَ؟ قَالَ بِاضِّطَرَابِ لِحْيَتِهِ مُخَرَّجٌ فِي الصَّحِيحَيْنِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الْأَعْمَشِ وَفِيهِ دَلِيلٌ عَلَى أَنَّهُ لَا بُدَّ مِنْ أَنْ يُحَرِّكَ لِسَانَهُ بِالْقِرَاءَةِ
