[Machine] About the Prophet ﷺ and mentioned the story of the Ascension to the heavens, in which he said, "I was enjoined to perform fifty prayers every day. (Or he said) I was commanded to perform fifty prayers every day. The doubt of Sa'id overwhelmed me until I came to Moses and he asked me, 'What have you been commanded to do?' So I said, 'I have been commanded to perform fifty prayers every day.' He said, 'Your followers cannot bear it. So return to your Lord and ask for a reduction for your nation.' So I returned until I reached my Lord and asked for a reduction for my nation. He reduced it by five prayers. I returned to Moses and informed him, and he said, 'Your followers cannot bear it. So return to your Lord and ask for a reduction.' I kept going back and forth between my Lord and Moses, each time my Lord reduced the prayers by five, until there remained only five prayers. Then Moses told me to return to my Lord, so I said, 'I have returned to my Lord until I feel too ashamed. But I accept and submit.' He said, 'You were called and you were answered, O Sa'id. I have indeed fulfilled my obligations and reduced them for my slaves, and for every good deed there is a reward of ten like it.' This Hadith is mentioned in Sahihayn from the Hadith of Sa'id bin Abi Aruba."

[Machine] He told us about the night of the Prophet's ﷺ ascension from the Kaaba mosque. He mentioned the hadith in which the Prophet was inspired concerning fifty prayers for his nation every day and night. Then he descended until he reached Moses, who detained him and said, "O Muhammad, what has your Lord instructed you?" He replied, "He has instructed me to have fifty prayers for my nation every day and night." Moses said, "Your nation is not able to do this, so go back and ask your Lord to lighten the burden on you and them." So the Prophet turned to Gabriel as if seeking his advice on this matter, and Gabriel gestured to him indicating that if he wished, he could do it. So Gabriel said to the Lord, "O Lord, lighten our burden, for my nation cannot bear this." Therefore, ten prayers were removed from the prescribed fifty. Then the Prophet returned to Moses, who detained him and continued to return him to his Lord until it became five prayers. Moses said, "By Allah, I have tried with the Children of Israel to practice less than these five and they neglected and abandoned them. Your nation is weaker in bodies, hearts, eyes, and ears, so go back and ask your Lord to lighten the burden on you." So the Prophet turned to Gabriel to indicate to him, and Gabriel raised his hand at the fifth prayer. He said, "O Lord, indeed my nation is weak in their bodies, hearts, eyes, and ears, so lighten our burden." Then the Lord said, "Indeed, the decree with Me will not change. It is as it was written for you in the mother of the Book. For every good deed, you will have ten times its reward. It is fifty in the mother of the Book, but it is five upon you." And he mentioned the hadith.

A man from among the people of Najd with disheveled hair came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The humming sound of his voice could be heard but what he was saying could not be understood. He came closer and it was then known that he was asking about Islam. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Five times of prayer each day and night: He asked: Must I observe any more than them? He replied: No, unless you do it voluntarily. He (Talhah) said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned fasting during the month of Ramadan. He asked: Must I observe anything else? He replied: No, unless you do it voluntarily. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ mentioned Zakat to him. He asked: Must I pay anything else? He replied: No, unless you do it voluntarily. The man then turned away saying: I swear by Allah, I shall not add anything to this or fall short of it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The man will be successful if he speaks truth. [Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "Allah has prescribed five prayers upon His slaves. Whoever fulfills them and does not neglect them, Allah will have a covenant with him to forgive him and enter him into Paradise. But whoever does not fulfill them and disrespects them, then he does not have a covenant with Allah. If Allah wills, He may punish him and if He wills, He may forgive him." And Malik narrated from Yahya bin Sa'id in this chain of narration that there was a man from the Banu Kinanah named Al-Mukhddiji.
