٣۔ كِتَابُ الصَّلَاةِ

3.38 [Machine] The intoxication-induced impairment of the mind does not serve as an excuse for neglecting one's duty.

٣۔٣٨ بَابُ زَوَالِ الْعَقْلِ بِالسُّكْرِ لَا يَكُونُ عُذْرًا فِي سُقُوطِ الْفَرْضِ عَنْهُ

bayhaqi:1829Abū Zakariyyā b. Abū Isḥāq al-Muzakkī And ʾAbū Bakr Aḥmad b. al-Ḥasan al-Qāḍī > Abū al-ʿAbbās Muḥammad b. Yaʿqūb > Muḥammad b. ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAbd al-Ḥakam > Ibn Wahb > ʿAmr b. al-Ḥārith > ʿAmr b. Shuʿayb from his father > ʿAbdullāh b. ʿAmr b. al-ʿĀṣ

[Machine] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said: "Whoever neglects the prayer deliberately once, it is as if he has lost all the worldly possessions and what is upon it. And whoever neglects the prayer deliberately four times, it is a right upon Allah to make him drink from the mud of Al-Khabal (a foul-smelling fluid). They said: O Messenger of Allah, what is the mud of Al-Khabal? He said: The juice of the people of Hellfire."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There are three individuals for whom their prayer is not accepted and their good deeds do not ascend: a servant who runs away until he returns to his masters and places his hand in their hands, a woman whose husband is angry with her, and a drunkard until he becomes sober." Zuhair stood alone like this.
