[Machine] He informed him, "I said, 'Let me watch the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray.' He said, 'So, I looked at him. He stood up, made Takbir, raised his hands, and recited the supplication. He mentioned the narration and said at the end, 'Then, I came later during a cold time and saw people with most of their clothes moving their hands from beneath their clothes."  

أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ قُلْتُ لَأَنْظُرَنَّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ كَيْفَ يُصَلِّي قَالَ فَنَظَرْتُ إِلَيْهِ قَامَ وَكَبَّرَ وَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ وَقَالَ فِي آخِرِهِ ثُمَّ جِئْتُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ بِزَمَانٍ فِيهِ بَرْدٌ فَرَأَيْتُ النَّاسَ عَلَيْهِمْ جُلُّ الثِّيَابِ تَحَرَّكُ أَيْدِيهِمْ مِنْ تَحْتِ الثِّيَابِ  

[Machine] "And he said in the hadith, 'Then I came to them in the winter, and I saw them raising their hands in prayer.' Abu Abdullah Al-Hafiz informed us, Abu Al-Abbas narrated to us, Al-Rabi' narrated to us, Al-Shafi'i narrated to us, and Sufyan mentioned him."  

وَقَالَ فِي الْحَدِيثِ ثُمَّ أَتَيْتُهُمْ فِي الشِّتَاءِ فَرَأَيْتُهُمْ يَرْفَعُونَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ فِي الْبَرَانِسِ أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ أنبأ أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ أنبأ الرَّبِيعُ أنبأ الشَّافِعِيُّ أنبأ سُفْيَانُ فَذَكَرَهُ
