[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever purifies himself on the day of Jumu'ah (Friday) and does whatever purification he is able to, and applies perfume or oil from his house, then goes to Jumu'ah prayer and prays what is apparent to him, then when the Imam appears, he listens and remains silent, then he will be forgiven for the time between that Jumu'ah and the next."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنِ اغْتَسَلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَتَطَهَّرَ مَا اسْتَطَاعَ مِنْ طُهْرَةٍ وَمَسَّ مِنْ دُهْنِ بَيْتِهِ أَوْ طِيبِهِ ثُمَّ رَاحَ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ فَصَلَّى مَا بَدَا لَهُ فَإِذَا خَرَجَ الْإِمَامُ اسْتَمَعَ وَأَنْصَتَ غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْجُمُعَةِ الْأُخْرَى  

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet that he disliked praying at noon except on Fridays, because Hellfire is kindled every day except on Fridays. And Abu Ali Al-Rudbari reported that Abu Bakr ibn Dasa narrated to us, who narrated to us Abu Dawud, who narrated to us Muhammad ibn Isa, who narrated to us Hassan ibn Ibrahim, and he mentioned it in his chain of narration. Abu Dawud said, "This is a Mursal (a type of Hadith where the Successor directly attributes a statement to the Prophet without mentioning the Companion from whom he heard it) from Abu Al-Khalil and he did not meet Abu Qatadah." The Sheikh said, "It has supporting evidence, even though its chains of narrators are weak, some of them."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ كَرِهَ أَنْ يُصَلَّى نِصْفَ النَّهَارِ إِلَّا يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ؛ لِأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ تُسَجَّرَ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ إِلَّا يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ 4432 وَأنبأ أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ أنبأ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ دَاسَةَ ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى ثنا حَسَّانُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فَذَكَرَهُ بِإِسْنَادِهِ وَمَعْنَاهُ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ هَذَا مُرْسَلٌ أَبُو الْخَلِيلِ لَمْ يَلْقَ أَبَا قَتَادَةَ قَالَ الشَّيْخُ وَلَهُ شَوَاهِدُ وَإِنْ كَانَتْ أَسَانِيدُهَا ضَعِيفَةً مِنْهَا  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited praying at midday until the sun sets, except on Fridays.  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ نَهَى عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ نِصْفَ النَّهَارِ حَتَّى تَزُولَ الشَّمْسُ إِلَّا يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said that it is forbidden to pray when the sun is in its zenith every day except for Friday. It has been narrated from Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri, 'Amr ibn Abasa, and Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet ﷺ preferred to hasten the arrival of Friday, and then he encouraged the people to pray until the Imam leaves, without specifying or making any exceptions. We will mention this, if Allah wills, in the book of Friday prayers.  

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ تَحْرُمُ يَعْنِي الصَّلَاةَ إِذَا انْتَصَفَ النَّهَارُ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ إِلَّا يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَرُوِيَ فِي ذَلِكَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ وَعَمْرِو بْنِ عَبَسَةَ وَابْنِ عُمَرَ مَرْفُوعًا وَالِاعْتِمَادُ عَلَى أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ اسْتَحَبَّ التَّبْكِيرَ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ ثُمَّ رَغَّبَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ إِلَى خُرُوجِ الْإِمَامِ مِنْ غَيْرِ تَخْصِيصٍ وَلَا اسْتِثْنَاءٍ نَذْكُرُهَا إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ تَعَالَى فِي كِتَابِ الْجُمُعَةِ  

[Machine] I heard Al-Hasan say on Friday that all of the prayer, indeed Hellfire is not kindled on Friday. And the permission in this matter was narrated to us from Tawus and Mak'hul.  

سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ يَقُولُ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ صَلَاةٌ كُلُّهُ إِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ لَا تُسَجَّرُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَرُوِّينَا الرُّخْصَةَ فِي ذَلِكَ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ وَمَكْحُولٍ
