[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "The one who is most knowledgeable of the Book of Allah should lead the people in prayer, and the one who has made the earliest migration among them should lead if they are equal in recitation. If they are equal in migration, then the older among them should lead. No man should lead prayer in his own house or in his domain without permission, nor should he sit on his special seat without permission. Abu Ali Al-Roudbari narrated to us that Abu Bakr bin Dasa narrated to us that Abu Dawood narrated to us that Abu Al-Waleed Al-Tayalis narrated to us that Shu'bah narrated to us that Ismail bin Raja narrated to me, mentioning the chain of narration and the content, except that he said: "The one who is most knowledgeable of the Book of Allah should lead, and the one who has made the earliest migration should lead in recitation. If they are equal in recitation, then the older among them should lead." Then he mentioned the rest of the Hadith. Shu'bah said to Ismail, "What is his special seat?" He replied, "His mat." Ali bin Ahmad bin Abdan narrated to us that Ahmad bin Ubaid Al-Saffar narrated to us that Ibrahim bin Abdullah narrated to us that Suleiman bin Harb narrated to us that Shu'bah narrated to us from Ismail bin Raja from Aws bin Dama'aj, who said, "I heard Abu Mas'ood say..." Then he mentioned the Hadith similar to the Hadith of Ibn Furak, except that he said, "No man should lead prayer in his own domain or among his family, nor should he sit on his special seat in his house without permission, or unless he is given permission."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The one who leads you in prayer should be the most knowledgeable among you of the Book of Allah, and the one who has the most recitation of the Qur'an. If your recitations are equal, then the one who immigrated first [to Islam] should lead. And if your immigration is equal, then the one who is older should lead. No man should lead another man in his own authority, nor should he sit on his honor except with his permission."

And he also said, 'He has the right to lead prayer during his journey.' Qays, who was present, said to his master, 'Get up and pray for them.'"
