al-Adab al-Mufrad
ُالأدَبُ المُفْرَد
Collection of over 1,300 ḥadīths emphasizing Islamic etiquette, personal conduct, compassion, and social dealings: from parents and children to neighbors and servants. This collection is an extension of Imām al-Bukhārī’s Chapter of Adab (Etiquette) in his Ṣaḥīḥ. However, unlike Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, the Imām did not adhere strictly to the criteria of Ṣaḥīḥ narrations, though many ḥadīths here are Ṣaḥīḥ or Ḥasan. Full name: al-Adab al-Mufrad (الأدَبُ المُفْرَد) (The Separate ˹Book˺ on Etiquettes). Sources: sunnah.com for Arabic text and English translation. The English translation has been reviewed and improved by myself and other contributors.

Abu Ayyub al-Ansari reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "It is not lawful for a Muslim to refuse to speak to his (Muslim) brother for more than three days so that when they meet, one goes this way and the goes that way. The better of the two is the one who initiates the greeting."
