Mustadrak al-Ḥākim

مُسْتَدْرَكُ الحَاكِم

Author’s intent for this book was for it to be a collection of narrations with conditions of authenticity based on Bukhārī and Muslim. Full name: al-Mustadrak ʿalá al-Ṣaḥīḥayn (المستدرك على الصحيحين) (Addendum of the Two Authentic Books). Sources: Shamela Book# 2266 for the Arabic text with authentication by Imām Dhahabī. The English translation is being added by myself and other contributors.

Abdullah heard his son praying to Allah: O Allah, I ask Thee a white palace on the right of Paradise when I enter it. He said: O my son, ask Allah for Paradise and seek refuge in Him from Hell-Fire, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: In this community there will be some people who will exceed the limits in purification as well as in supplication. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 96)

الحاكم:١٩٧٩ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ ثنا السَّرِيُّ بْنُ خُزَيْمَةَ ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ وَمُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَا ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي نَعَامَةَ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مُغَفَّلٍ

سَمِعَ ابْنَهُ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْقَصْرَ الْأَبْيَضَ مِنْ يَمِينِ الْجَنَّةِ قَالَ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «يَكُونُ فِي هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ قَوْمٌ يَعْتَدُونَ فِي الدُّعَاءِ وَالطُّهُورِ»

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ
