[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ and his companions passed by a woman who slaughtered a sheep for them and prepared food for them. When they returned, she said, "O Messenger of Allah, we have prepared food for you, so come and eat." [Machine] "From Jabir ibn Abdullah, he said: 'They slaughtered on the day of Khaybar the red camels, the mules, and the horses. Then the Prophet ﷺ forbade them from slaughtering the red camels and mules, but he did not forbid them from slaughtering the horses.'"

[Machine] From Nubayshah, he said: A man asked the Prophet ﷺ saying, "O Messenger of Allah, we used to offer sacrifices during the pre-Islamic period of Ignorance in the month of Rajab. This is better than slaughtering it, as its meat will stick to its bones, and you will drive it with your camel." (Narration reported in Sahih Muslim)
[Machine] "In the Far'ah, it is a right (i.e., a means of settling a debt) that cannot be delayed or postponed. It is the first and the most important among all the debts that one owes. It sticks to your hand, but you can pay it off with milk until it becomes a matter of financial choice, then you can slaughter it."

A man asked him, 'O Messenger of Allah, what do you think about debts and loans?' The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) replied, 'Whoever wishes to keep his debts can keep them, and whoever wishes to cancel them can cancel them. As for the sheep, it is the sacrifice for it.'"

That Ali bin Abi Talib said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had the 'Aqiqah for Al-Hasan with one sheep, and said: 'O Fatimah! Shave his head and give the weight of his hair in silver as charity.'" He said: "So I weighed it, and it was the weight of a Dirham or a bit of a Dirham." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1519)
