Sunan al-Dārimī
سُنَنُ الدَّارِمِي
One of the nine major collections of the Sunnah organized by chains of narrations. Full name: Sunan al-Dārimī (سنن الدارميّ) (The Collection of Sunnah by Dārimī). Random ḥadīth in Dārimī
"The Prophet ﷺ saw an old man walking between his two sons, and he said: What is the matter with him?' His sons said: 'A vow, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'Let this old man ride, for Allah has no need of you or your vow."' (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2135)
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَدْرَكَ شَيْخًا يَمْشِي بَيْنَ ابْنَيْهِ فَقَالَ مَا شَأْنُ هَذَا الشَّيْخِ؟ فَقَالَ ابْنَاهُ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَمْشِيَ فَقَالَ «ارْكَبْ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ غَنِيٌّ عَنْكَ وَعَنْ نَذْرِكَ»
