[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about the cutting of the ear of camels and the marking of sheep, and he said, "Whatever is cut from a living animal is considered dead."  

الحاكم:٧٥٩٨أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الصَّفَّارُ ثَنَا أَبُو إِسْمَاعِيلَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ السُّلَمِيُّ ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأُوَيْسِيُّ ثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ سُئِلَ عَنْ جِبَابِ أَسْنِمَةِ الْإِبِلِ وأَلْيَاتِ الْغَنَمِ وَقَالَ «مَا قُطِعَ مِنْ حَيٍّ فَهُوَ مَيِّتٌ»  

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ على شرط البخاري ومسلم

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَكُونُ فِي آخِرِ الزَّمَانِ قَوْمٌ يَجُبُّونَ أَسْنِمَةَ الإِبِلِ وَيَقْطَعُونَ أَذْنَابَ الْغَنَمِ أَلاَ فَمَا قُطِعَ مِنْ حَىٍّ فَهُوَ مَيِّتٌ
