[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered the construction of mosques in the villages and commanded that they be adorned and cleaned as well.  

رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَمَرَ بِبُنْيَانِ الْمَسَاجِدِ فِي الدُّورِ وَأَمَرَ بِهَا أَنْ تُطَيَّبَ وَتُنَظَّفَ وَكَذَلِكَ  

After (praising Allah and blessing the Prophet) that: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to command us to build mosques in our localities and keep them well and clean. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 456)   

أَنَّهُ كَتَبَ إِلَى بَنِيهِ أَمَّا بَعْدُ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْمَسَاجِدِ أَنْ نَصْنَعَهَا فِي دِيَارِنَا وَنُصْلِحَ صَنْعَتَهَا وَنُطَهِّرَهَا  

[Machine] I asked Ibn Umar, "When did the cultivation of saffron in the mosque begin?" He replied, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out and saw chaff in the direction of the mosque's qibla. He said, 'Something better than this should be placed here.' A man heard this and brought saffron. He ground it and applied it in place of the chaff. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw it, he said, 'This is better than the previous one.' This is what people did, and the hadith of Jabir has already been mentioned in the chapter of Al-Buzāq."  

قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ مَا كَانَ بَدْءُ هَذَا الزَّعْفَرَانِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ؟ قَالَ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فَرَأَى نُخَامَةً فِي قِبْلَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَ غَيْرُ هَذَا أَحْسَنُ مِنْ هَذَا فَسَمِعَ بِذَلِكَ رَجُلٌ فَجَاءَ بِزَعْفَرَانٍ فَحَكَّهَا ثُمَّ طَلَى بِالزَّعْفَرَانِ مَكَانَهَا فَلَمَّا رَأَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ذَلِكَ قَالَ هَذَا أَحْسَنُ مِنَ الْأَوَّلِ قَالَ وَصَنْعَهُ النَّاسُ وَحَدِيثُ جَابِرٍ فِي هَذَا قَدْ مَضَى فِي بَابِ الْبُزَاقِ  

[Machine] The Prophet lost a black woman who used to collect scraps and sticks from the mosque. He asked, "Where is so-and-so?" They said, "She died." And he mentioned the Hadith.  

فَقَدَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ امْرَأَةً سَوْدَاءَ كَانَتْ تَلْتَقِطُ الْخِرَقَ وَالْعِيدَانَ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ فَقَالَ أَيْنَ فُلَانَةٌ؟ قَالُوا مَاتَتْ وَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ
