3.62 [Machine] The call to prayer and establishment for herself and her companions.

٣۔٦٢ بَابُ أَذَانِ الْمَرْأَةِ وَإِقَامَتِهَا لِنَفْسِهَا وَصَوَاحِبَاتِهَا

[Machine] "It used to call for prayer, establish, and lead women in prayer, and stand among them."  

البيهقي:١٩٢٢وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ ثنا لَيْثٌ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تُؤَذِّنُ وَتُقِيمُ وَتَؤُمُّ النِّسَاءَ وَتَقُومُ وَسْطَهُنَّ

[Machine] If the call to prayer is made, then establish the prayer, for that is better. Even if they do not increase in performing the prayer, it is acceptable. Ibn Thawban said, "Even if they do not establish it, then Al-Zuhri narrated from Urwah, who narrated from Aisha, and he said, 'We used to pray without establishing the prayer,' and if this is correct with the first statement, it does not contradict the permissibility of doing it sometimes and leaving it other times, as both actions are permissible. Allah knows best. It is also mentioned that it was said to Jabir ibn Abdullah, "Do women establish the prayer?" He said, "Yes."  

البيهقي:١٩٢٣أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحَارِثِيُّ الْفَقِيهُ أنا أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ بْنُ حَيَّانَ ثنا ابْنُ صَاعِدٍ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ الْبَرْقِيُّ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ ثَوْبَانَ هَلْ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ إِقَامَةٌ فَحَدَّثَنِي أَنَّ أَبَاهُ حَدَّثَهُ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ مَكْحُولًا فَقَالَ

إِذَا أَذَّنَّ فَأَقَمْنَ فَذَلِكَ أَفْضَلُ وَإِنْ لَمْ يَزِدْنَ عَلَى الْإِقَامَةِ أَجْزَأَتْ عَنْهُنَّ قَالَ ابْنُ ثَوْبَانَ وَإِنْ لَمْ يُقِمْنَ فَإِنَّ الزُّهْرِيَّ حَدَّثَ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كُنَّا نُصَلِّي بِغَيْرِ إِقَامَةٍ وَهَذَا إِنْ صَحَّ مَعَ الْأَوَّلِ فَلَا يُنَافِيَانِ لِجَوازِ فِعْلِهَا ذَلِكَ مَرَّةً وَتَرْكِهَا أُخْرَى لِجَوَازِ الْأَمْرَيْنِ جَمِيعًا وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ وَيُذْكَرُ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ أَنَّهُ قِيلَ لَهُ أَتُقِيمُ الْمَرْأَةُ؟ قَالَ نَعَمْ
