[Machine] I performed salah (prayer) with Abu Huraira during nighttime. He recited the verse "When the sky splits apart and becomes rose-colored like oil" and prostrated. I asked him, "What is this prostration?" He replied, "I prostrated in this manner with Abu Al-Qasim (Prophet Muhammad ﷺ ) and I will continue to do so until I meet him." Issa bin Yunus mentioned that after the Isha prayer, when Abu Huraira left, he asked him, "O Abu Huraira, or I said, 'What is this?'" He replied, "This is how he (Prophet Muhammad ﷺ ) prostrated, so I followed his example."  

صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ؓ الْعَتَمَةَ فَقَرَأَ إِذَا السَّمَاءُ انْشَقَّتْ فَسَجَدَ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ مَا هَذِهِ السَّجْدَةُ؟ فَقَالَ سَجَدْتُ بِهَا مَعَ أَبِي الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ فَلَا أَزَالُ أَسْجُدُ بِهَا حَتَّى أَلْقَاهُ قَالَ عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ الْعِشَاءَ وَقَالَ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ قَالَ يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ أَوْ قُلْتُ مَا هَذِهِ؟ قَالَ كَذَا سَجَدَ بِهِ فَذَكَرَهُ  

[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ prostrated in the first unit of the Dhuhr prayer, and his companions saw that he recited the revelation of the prostration.  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ سَجَدَ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الْأُولَى مِنْ صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ فَرَآهُ أَصْحَابُهُ أَنَّهُ قَرَأَ تَنْزِيلُ السَّجْدَةِ  

[Machine] That the Prophet ﷺ prostrated in the Dhuhr prayer, then he stood up and it is believed that he recited a Surah which includes a prostration. So said Maytah and others. Umayya 3761 narrated to us Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz and Abu Saeed ibn Abi Amr, who said: Abu al-Abbas, who is the deaf one, narrated to us that Muhammad ibn Ishaq al-Saghani informed me that Yahya ibn Ma'in informed me that Mu'tamir narrated from his father from a man called Umayya, and he mentioned him with a similar narration.  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ سَجَدَ فِي صَلَاةِ الظُّهْرِ ثُمَّ قَامَ فَيَرَوْنَ أَنَّهُ قَرَأَ سُورَةً فِيهَا سَجْدَةً كَذَا قَالَ مَيَّةُ وَقَالَ غَيْرُهُ أُمَيَّةُ 3761 أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ وَأَبُو سَعِيدِ بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو قَالَا ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ هُوَ الْأَصَمُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ ثنا مُعْتَمِرٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ رَجُلٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ أُمَيَّةُ فَذَكَرَهُ بِمِثْلِهِ
