٢٧۔ كِتَابُ مَعْرِفَةِ الصَّحَابَةِ ؓ ص ٨
[Machine] As for the two sheikhs, they did not mention anything beyond the virtues. We have started in the first mention of the companion by discussing his lineage and death, then we mentioned what is valid about their conditions from their virtues that they did not mention. So I did not forget to mention Muhammad ibn Umar al-Waqidi and his peers in knowledge.
أَمَّا الشَّيْخَانِ فَإِنَّهُمَا لَمْ يَزِيدَا عَلَى الْمَنَاقِبِ، وَقَدْ بَدَأْنَا فِي أَوَّلِ ذِكْرِ الصَّحَابِيِّ بِمَعْرِفَةِ نَسَبِهِ وَوَفَاتِهِ، ثُمَّ بِمَا يَصِحُّ عَلَى شَرْطِهِمَا مِنْ مَنَاقِبِهِ مِمَّا لَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ فَلَمْ أَسْتَغْنِ عَنْ ذِكْرِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُمَرَ الْوَاقِدِيِّ وَأَقْرَانِهِ فِي الْمَعْرِفَةِ
[Machine] She said, "I have never seen anyone who spoke and conversed more closely to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ than Fatimah. Whenever she entered upon him, he would stand up for her, kiss her, welcome her, take her hand, and seat her in his gathering. And when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon her, she would stand up to receive him and kiss his hand."
أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ «مَا رَأَيْتُ أَحَدًا كَانَ أَشْبَهَ كَلَامًا وَحَدِيثًا بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْ فَاطِمَةَ وَكَانَتْ إِذَا دَخَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ قَامَ إِلَيْهَا فَقَبَّلَهَا وَرَحَّبَ بِهَا وَأَخَذَ بِيَدِهَا فَأَجْلَسَهَا فِي مَجْلِسِهِ وَكَانَتْ هِيَ إِذَا دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَامَتْ إِلَيْهِ مُسْتَقْبِلَةً وَقَبَّلَتْ يَدَهُ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ drew four lines on the ground, and then he said, "Do you know what this is?" They replied, "Allah and His Messenger know best." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The best women of the people of Paradise are four: Khadijah bint Khuwaylid, Fatimah bint Muhammad, and two others."
خَطَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَرْبَعَةَ خُطُوطٍ ثُمَّ قَالَ «أَتَدْرُونَ مَا هَذَا؟» فَقَالُوا اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَفْضَلُ نِسَاءِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ أَرْبَعَةٌ خَدِيجَةُ بِنْتُ خُوَيْلِدٍ وَفَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ مُحَمَّدٍ «الْحَدِيثَ»
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah say, "I am the tree, and Fatimah is its branch, and Ali is its sap, and Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn are its fruits, and our Shi'a are its leaves, and the root of the tree is in the Garden of Eden, and the rest of it is in the rest of Paradise." This is an unusual text, and even if that is the case, Isaac Al-Dabari is reliable, and Abdul Razzaq and his father and grandfather are truthful, and the port of the servant of Abdul Rahman ibn Auf has met the Prophet and heard from him, and Allah knows best. This statement was made by a human being other than the ruler, and it is only the opinion of a misguided follower.
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «أَنَا الشَّجَرَةُ وَفَاطِمَةُ فَرْعُهَا وَعَلِيٌّ لِقَاحُهَا وَالْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ ثَمَرَتُهَا وَشِيعَتُنَا وَرَقُهَا وَأَصْلُ الشَّجَرَةِ فِي جُنَّةِ عَدْنٍ وَسَائِرُ ذَلِكَ فِي سَائِرِ الْجَنَّةِ» هَذَا مَتْنٌ شَاذُّ وَإِنْ كَانَ كَذَلِكَ فَإِنَّ إِسْحَاقَ الدَّبَرِيُّ صَدُوقٌ وَعَبْدٌ الرَّزَّاقِ وَأَبُوهُ وَجَدُهُ ثِقَاتٌ وَمِينَاءُ مَوْلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَدْ أَدْرَكَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَسَمِعَ مِنْهُ وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ ما قال هذا بشر سوى الحاكم وإنما ذا تابعي ساقط
[Machine] "When Fatimah, the daughter of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, was mentioned, she said, "I have not seen anyone who had a more truthful speech than her, except for the one who gave birth to her."
أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ إِذَا ذُكِرَتْ فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَتْ «مَا رَأَيْتُ أَحَدًا كَانَ أَصْدَقَ لَهْجَةً مِنْهَا إِلَّا أَنْ يَكُونَ الَّذِي وَلَدَهَا»
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "On the Day of Judgment, it will be said, 'O people of the gathering, lower your gaze so that Fatimah, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , will pass by.' So she will pass by wearing two green garments." Abu Muslim said, Abu Qilabah told me, and Abd al-Hamid was with us, that he said, 'Wearing red garments.'"
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ قِيلَ يَا أَهْلَ الْجَمْعِ غُضُّوا أَبْصَارَكُمْ لِتَمُرَّ فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَتَمُرُّ وَعَلَيْهَا رَيْطَتَانِ خَضْرَاوَانِ قَالَ أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ لِي أَبُو قِلَابَةَ وَكَانَ مَعَنَا عَبْدُ الْحَمِيدِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «حَمْرَاوَانِ»
27.19 [Machine] The mention of what is established with us from the descendants of Fatimah and her birth
٢٧۔١٩ ذِكْرُ مَا ثَبَتَ عِنْدَنَا مِنْ أَعْقَابِ فَاطِمَةَ وَوِلَادَتِهَا ؓ
[Machine] Khadijah, the wife of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, gave birth to two boys and four girls. The boys' names were Qasim and Abdullah, and the girls' names were Fatimah, Umm Kulthum, Ruqayyah, and Zainab.
وَلَدَتْ خَدِيجَةُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ غُلَامَيْنِ وَأَرْبَعَ نِسْوَةٍ الْقَاسِمَ وَعَبْدَ اللَّهِ وَفَاطِمَةَ وَأُمَّ كُلْثُومٍ وَرُقَيَّةَ وَزَيْنَبَ
[Machine] About Fatimah bint Rasul Allah ﷺ , she said: "She was like the moon on the night of the full moon or like the sun when the clouds disperse, with a complexion as white as snow and a blush as red as blood. She had black hair that was the blackest of all people in resemblance to Rasul Allah ﷺ . By Allah, as the poet said: 'White, which drags its hair over it, and it disappears in it.' And he was a body that is very dark, as if it were a bright day for her and as if it were a dark night upon her."
عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَتْ كَانَتْ كَالْقَمَرِ لَيْلَةَ الْبَدْرِ أَوِ الشَّمْسِ كَفَرَ غَمَامًا إِذَا خَرَجَ مِنَ السَّحَابِ بَيْضَاءَ مَشْرُبَةً حُمْرَةً لَهَا شَعْرٌ أَسْوَدُ مِنْ أَشَدِّ النَّاسِ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ شَبَهًا وَاللَّهِ كَمَا قَالَ الشَّاعِرُ [البحر الكامل] بَيْضَاءُ تَسْحَبُ مِنْ قِيَامٍ شَعْرِهَا وَتَغِيبُ فِيهِ وَهُوَ جَثْلٌ أَسْحَمُ فَكَأَنَّهَا فِيهِ نَهَارٌ مُشْرِقٌ وَكَأَنَّهُ لَيْلٌ عَلَيْهَا مُظْلِمُموضوع
[Machine] Fatima was born in the year forty-one after the birth of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
«وُلِدَتْ فَاطِمَةُ سَنَةَ إِحْدَى وَأَرْبَعِينَ مِنْ مَوْلِدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ»
27.20 [Machine] The mention of the death of Fatima ¶ and the disagreement about its time
٢٧۔٢٠ ذِكْرُ وَفَاةِ فَاطِمَةَ ؓ وَالِاخْتِلَافُ فِي وَقْتِهَا
[Machine] "Fatima, the daughter of Muhammad, ﷺ , passed away during an illness that lasted three nights in a month other than Ramadan when she was around twenty-nine years old. There are different accounts regarding the exact time of her death. Abu Ja'far Muhammad ibn Ali reported that Fatima passed away three months after the Prophet ﷺ . Aisha, on the other hand, stated that Fatima passed away six months after the Prophet ﷺ . Abdullah ibn Al-Harith claimed that Fatima passed away eight months after the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ."
«تُوُفِّيَتْ فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ لِثَلَاثِ لَيَالٍ خَلَوْنَ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ وَهِيَ ابْنَةُ تِسْعٍ وَعِشْرِينَ سَنَةً أَوْ نَحْوَهَا» وَقَدِ اخْتُلِفَ فِي وَقْتِ وَفَاتِهَا فَرُوِيَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «تُوُفِّيَتْ فَاطِمَةُ بَعْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِثَلَاثَةِ أَشْهُرٍ» وَأَمَّا عَائِشَةُ فَإِنَّهَا قَالَتْ فِيمَا رُوِيَ عَنْهَا «أَنَّهَا تُوُفِّيَتْ بَعْدَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِسِتَّةِ أَشْهُرٍ» وَأَمَّا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ فَإِنَّهُ قَالَ فِيمَا رَوَى يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْهُ قَالَ «تُوُفِّيَتْ فَاطِمَةُ بَعْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِثَمَانِيَةِ أَشْهُرٍ»
[Machine] "Fatimah stayed for six months after the death of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . She was followed by Salih ibn Kaysan, 'Uqayl, Ibn 'Uyaynah, Al-Waqidi, and Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Akhi Al-Zuhri, and Ibn Jurayj. All of them followed her."
«مَكَثَتْ فَاطِمَةُ بَعْدَ وَفَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ سِتَّةَ أَشْهُرٍ» تَابَعَهُ صَالِحُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ وَعُقَيْلُ وَابْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ وَالْوَاقِدِيُّ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ابْنِ أَخِي الزُّهْرِيِّ وَابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ كُلُّهُمْ نَحْوَهُ
[Machine] "For Asma bint Umayz, do you not see that I have reached a point where I cannot even carry myself openly on the bed?" So Asma said, "By my oath, but I will make a coffin for you as I have seen being made in Abyssinia." She said, "Then show it to me." So Asma sent for moist palm leaves, and they were cut from the tops of the palm trees and made into a coffin. It was placed on the bed, and it was the first time she smiled since her father's death. Then we carried her and buried her at night."
لِأَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ عُمَيْسٍ أَلَا تَرَيْنَ إِلَى مَا بَلَغْتُ أُحْمَلُ عَلَى السَّرِيرِ ظَاهِرًا؟ فَقَالَتْ أَسْمَاءُ أَلَا لَعَمْرِي وَلَكِنْ أَصْنَعُ لَكِ نَعْشًا كَمَا رَأَيْتُ يُصْنَعُ بِأَرْضِ الْحَبَشَةِ قَالَتْ فَأَرِنِيهِ قَالَ فَأَرْسَلَتْ أَسْمَاءُ إِلَى جَرَائِدَ رَطْبَةٍ فَقُطِّعَتْ مِنَ الْأَسْوَافِ وَجُعِلَتْ عَلَى السَّرِيرِ نَعْشًا وَهُوَ أَوَّلُ مَا كَانَ النَّعْشُ فَتَبَسَّمَتْ فَاطِمَةُ وَمَا رَأَيْتُهَا مُتَبَسِّمَةً بَعْدَ أَبِيهَا إِلَّا يَوْمَئِذٍ ثُمَّ حَمَّلْنَاهَا وَدَفَنَّاهَا لَيْلًا
[Machine] "Fatimah, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, was buried at night. Ali buried her and Abu Bakr did not know about it until she was buried. Ali ibn Abi Talib prayed over her."
«دُفِنَتْ فَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ لَيْلًا دَفَنَهَا عَلِيٌّ وَلَمْ يَشْعُرْ بِهَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ حَتَّى دُفِنَتْ وَصَلَّى عَلَيْهَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ »
[Machine] "Fatima died at the age of twenty-one, and she was born on the beginning of the forty-first year after the birth of the Prophet ﷺ."
«مَاتَتْ فَاطِمَةُ وَهِيَ ابْنَةُ إِحْدَى وَعِشْرِينَ وَوُلِدَتْ عَلَى رَأْسِ سَنَةِ إِحْدَى وَأَرْبَعِينَ مِنْ مَوْلِدِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ»
[Machine] There were two months between the Prophet ﷺ and Fatimah.
«كَانَ بَيْنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَبَيْنَ فَاطِمَةَ شَهْرَيْنِ»
[Machine] "That Fatima did not remain after the Messenger of Allah ﷺ except for two months."
«أَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ لَمْ تَمْكُثْ بَعْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِلَّا شَهْرَيْنِ»
[Machine] "When Fatimah, the daughter of the Messenger (pbuh), passed away, she used to say, 'Oh my father, how near is he to his Lord? Oh my father, Paradise is his abode! Oh my father, his Lord honors him when he meets Him! Oh my father, the Lord and His messengers greet him upon his arrival!' When Fatimah passed away, Ali ibn Abi Talib said, 'For every gathering of two beloved ones, there is a separation, and everything below separation is insignificant. And indeed, my longing for one after another is evidence that companionship does not last.'"
أَنَّ فَاطِمَةَ لَمَّا تُوُفِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ كَانَتْ تَقُولُ وَا أَبَتَاهُ مِنْ رَبِّهِ مَا أَدْنَاهُ وَا أَبَتَاهُ جِنَانُ الْخُلْدِ مَأْوَاهُ وَا أَبَتَاهُ رَبُّهُ يُكْرِمُهُ إِذَا أَتَاهُ وَا أَبَتَاهُ الرَّبُّ وَرُسُلُهُ يُسَلِّمُ عَلَيْهِ حِينَ يَلْقَاهُ فَلَمَّا مَاتَتْ فَاطِمَةُ قَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ « [البحر الطويل] لِكُلِّ اجْتِمَاعٍ مِنْ خَلِيلَيْنِ فُرْقَةٌ وَكُلُّ الَّذِي دُونَ الْفِرَاقِ قَلِيلُ وَإِنَّ افْتِقَادِي وَاحِدًا بَعْدَ وَاحِدٍ دَلِيلٌ عَلَى أَنْ لَا يَدُومَ خَلِيلُ»
[Machine] "I and Ali washed Fatimah, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ."
«غَسَّلْتُ أَنَا وَعَلِيٌّ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ»
27.21 [Machine] And from the virtues of Hasan and Husain, the sons of the daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ
٢٧۔٢١ وَمِنْ مَنَاقِبِ الْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ ابْنِي بِنْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Every child of a tribe belongs to that tribe, except for the two sons of Fatimah; I am their guardian and part of their tribe."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لِكُلِّ بَنِي أُمِّ عَصَبَةٌ يَنْتَمُونَ إِلَيْهِمْ إِلَّا ابْنَيْ فَاطِمَةَ فَأَنَا وَلِيُّهُمَا وَعَصَبَتُهُمَا»
[Machine] Al-Hasan and Al-Husain came running to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he embraced them and said, "Indeed, children are treasures, cowards, and sources of sorrow."
جَاءَ الْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ يَسْتَبِقَانِ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَضَمَّهُمَا إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «إِنَّ الْوَلَدَ مَبْخَلَةٌ مَجْبَنَةٌ مَحْزَنَةٌ»
[Machine] Al-Hajjaj was not from the lineage of the Prophet peace be upon him. And with him was Yahya ibn Ya'mar, so he said to him, "O Amir, you have lied." So he said, "Come to me with clear evidence and conclusive proof from the Book of Allah, Almighty, or I will kill you." So he said, "And from his descendants are Dawud, Sulayman, Ayyub, Yusuf, and Musa, to the saying of Allah, Almighty, 'And Zakariyya, Yahya, 'Isa, and Ilyas'" [Al-An'am 85]. So Allah, Almighty, informed that 'Isa is from the descendants of Adam through his mother, and Al-Husayn ibn Ali is from the descendants of Muhammad peace be upon him through his mother. He said, "You spoke the truth, so what led you to deny me in this matter?" He said, "Allah has taken a covenant from the prophets to proclaim it to the people and not conceal it." He said, "So they rejected it behind their backs and exchanged it for a small price" [Al Imran 187]. He said, "So he banished him to Khurasan."
الْحَجَّاجُ لَمْ يَكُنْ مِنْ ذُرِّيَّةِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَعِنْدَهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْمَرَ فَقَالَ لَهُ «كَذَبْتَ أَيُّهَا الْأَمِيرُ» فَقَالَ لَتَأْتِيَنِّي عَلَى مَا قُلْتَ بِبَيِّنَةٍ وَمِصْدَاقٍ مِنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ ﷻ أَوْ لَأَقْتُلَنَّكَ قَتْلًا فَقَالَ {وَمِنْ ذُرِّيَّتِهِ دَاوُدَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ وَأَيُّوبَ وَيُوسُفَ وَمُوسَى} إِلَى قَوْلِهِ ﷻ {وَزَكَرِيَّا وَيَحْيَى وَعِيسَى وَإِلْيَاسَ} [الأنعام 85] فَأَخْبَرَ اللَّهُ ﷻ أَنَّ عِيسَى مِنْ ذُرِّيَّةِ آدَمَ بِأُمِّهِ وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ مِنْ ذُرِّيَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ بِأُمِّهِ قَالَ صَدَقْتَ فَمَا حَمَلَكَ عَلَى تَكْذِيبِي فِي مَجْلِسٍ قَالَ مَا أَخَذَ اللَّهُ عَلَى الْأَنْبِيَاءِ لَيُبَيِّنُنَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا يَكْتُمُونَهُ قَالَ اللَّهُ ﷻ {فَنَبَذُوهُ وَرَاءَ ظُهُورِهِمْ وَاشْتَرُوا بِهِ ثَمَنًا قَلِيلًا} [آل عمران 187] قَالَ فَنَفَاهُ إِلَى خُرَاسَانَسكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص
When al-Hasan was born, I named him Harb [which means war], then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came and said: ʿShow me my son; what did you name him?ʿ We said: Harb. He said: ʿRather he is Hasan.” When al-Husain was born, I named him Harb, then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came and said: “Show me my son; what did you name him?” We said; Harb. He said: “Rather he is Husain.” When the third one was born, I named him Harb. The Prophet ﷺ came and said: “Show me my son, what did you name him?” I said. Harb. He said: ʿRather, he is Muhassin.ʿ Then he said: ʿI have named them after the fashion of the sons of Haroon, Shabbar and Shabeer and Mushabbir.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 769)
لَمَّا وَلَدَتْ فَاطِمَةُ الْحَسَنَ جَاءَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «أَرُونِي ابْنِي مَا سَمَّيْتُمُوهُ؟» قَالَ قُلْتُ سَمَّيْتُهُ حَرْبًا قَالَ «بَلْ هُوَ حَسَنٌ» فَلَمَّا وَلَدَتِ الْحُسَيْنَ جَاءَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «أَرُونِي ابْنِي مَا سَمَّيْتُمُوهُ؟» قَالَ قُلْتُ سَمَّيْتُهُ حَرْبًا فَقَالَ «بَلْ هُوَ حُسَيْنٌ» ثُمَّ لَمَّا وَلَدَتِ الثَّالِثَ جَاءَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أَرُونِي ابْنِي مَا سَمَّيْتُمُوهُ؟» قُلْتُ سَمَّيْتُهُ حَرْبًا قَالَ «بَلْ هُوَ مُحْسِنٌ» ثُمَّ قَالَ «إِنَّمَا سَمَّيْتُهُمْ بِاسْمِ وَلَدِ هَارُونَ شَبَرٌ وَشُبَيْرٌ وَمُشْبِرٌ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ once came to her and said, "Where are my sons?" She replied, "Ali has taken them." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went and found them playing in a well with some dates in their hands. He said to Ali, "O Ali, why did you not turn my sons around before the heat?" He then mentioned the rest of the narration, "Muhammad bin Musa, this is the son of Mashmool, a trustworthy Medinan, and Awn, this is the son of Muhammad bin Ubaid-Allah bin Abi Rafi, both of them are trustworthy. And their mother is Ja'far's daughter, Asma bint Abi Bakr. I found her as Asma bint Abi Bakr. They are all noble trustworthy people." But Muhammad (ibn Musa) weakened it.
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَتَاهَا يَوْمًا فَقَالَ «أَيْنَ ابْنَايَ؟» فَقَالَتْ ذَهَبَ بِهِمَا عَلِيٌّ فَتَوَجَّهَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَوَجَدَهُمَا يَلْعَبَانِ فِي مَشْرُبَةٍ وَبَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمَا فَضْلٌ مِنْ تَمْرٍ فَقَالَ «يَا عَلِيُّ أَلَا تَقْلِبُ ابْنِي قَبْلَ الْحَرِّ» وَذَكَرَ بَاقِي الْحَدِيثِ «مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُوسَى هَذَا هُوَ ابْنُ مَشْمُولٍ مَدِينِيٌّ ثِقَةٌ وَعَوْنُ هَذَا هُوَ ابْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ هُوَ وَأَبُوهُ ثِقَتَانِ وَأُمُّ جَعْفَرٍ هِيَ ابْنَةُ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ وَجَدْتُهَا أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقِ وَكُلُّهُمْ أَشْرَافٌ ثِقَاتٌ» بل محمد ضعفوه
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out with us in one of the evening prayers of Dhuhr or Asr while carrying one of his sons, either Al-Hasan or Al-Husayn. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then went forward and placed him at his right foot, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prostrated for a long time. My father said, "I raised my head among the people, and behold, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was prostrating, and the boy was riding on his back. So I went back and prostrated. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished, the people said, 'O Messenger of Allah, you prostrated in this prayer, a prostration we have not seen you do before. Were you commanded to do so, or did something specific inspire you?'" He said, "All of that was not the case, but my son rode on me, so I disliked to hurry him until he had satisfied his need."
خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي إِحْدَى صَلَاتِيِ الْعَشِيِّ الظُّهْرِ أَوِ الْعَصْرِ وَهُوَ حَامِلٌ أَحَدِ ابْنَيْهِ الْحَسَنِ أَوِ الْحُسَيْنِ فَتَقَدَّمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَوَضَعَهُ عِنْدَ قَدَمِهِ الْيُمْنَى فَسَجَدَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ سَجْدَةً أَطَالَهَا قَالَ أَبِي فَرَفَعْتُ رَأْسِي مِنْ بَيْنِ النَّاسِ فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ سَاجِدٌ وَإِذَا الْغُلَامُ رَاكِبٌ عَلَى ظَهْرِهِ فَعُدْتُ فَسَجَدْتُ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ النَّاسُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَقَدْ سَجَدْتَ فِي صَلَاتِكَ هَذِهِ سَجْدَةً مَا كُنْتَ تَسْجُدُهَا أَفَشَيْءٌ أُمِرْتَ بِهِ؟ أَوْ كَانَ يُوحَى إِلَيْكَ؟ قَالَ «كُلُّ ذَلِكَ لَمْ يَكُنْ وَلَكِنِ ابْنِي ارْتَحَلَنِي فَكَرِهْتُ أَنْ أَعْجَلَهُ حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ حَاجَتَهُ»
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Hasan and Husain are my sons. Whoever loves them, loves me. And whoever loves me, Allah loves him. And whoever Allah loves, He will admit him to Paradise. And whoever dislikes them, dislikes me. And whoever dislikes me, dislikes Allah. And whoever dislikes Allah, He will admit him to the Hellfire."
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ ابْنَايَ مَنْ أَحَبَّهُمَا أَحَبَّنِي وَمَنْ أَحَبَّنِي أَحَبَّهُ اللَّهُ وَمَنْ أَحَبَّهُ اللَّهُ أَدْخَلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَنْ أَبْغَضَهُمَا أَبْغَضَنِي وَمَنْ أَبْغَضَنِي أَبْغَضَهُ اللَّهُ وَمَنْ أَبْغَضَهُ اللَّهُ أَدْخَلَهُ النَّارَ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us, and with him were Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn. He had Al-Hasan on his shoulder and Al-Husayn on his other shoulder. He was kissing Al-Hasan and then Al-Husayn, alternately. He came to us and a man said to him, "O Messenger of Allah, do you love them?" He said, "Yes, whoever loves them, loves me, and whoever dislikes them, dislikes me."
خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَمَعَهُ الْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ هَذَا عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ وَهَذَا عَلَى عَاتِقِهِ وَهُوَ يَلْثِمُ هَذَا مَرَّةً وَهَذَا مَرَّةً حَتَّى انْتَهَى إِلَيْنَا فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّكَ تُحِبُّهُمَا؟ فَقَالَ «نَعَمْ مَنْ أَحَبَّهُمَا فَقَدْ أَحَبَّنِي وَمَنْ أَبْغَضَهُمَا فَقَدْ أَبْغَضَنِي»
[Machine] From the Prophet ﷺ that he said, "Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn are the leaders of the youth of the people of Paradise, except for the sons of the paternal aunt."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «الْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ سَيِّدَا شَبَابِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ إِلَّا ابْنَيِ الْخَالَةِ»
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Hasan and Husain will be the leaders of the youth of Paradise, and their father is better than them." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 118)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ سَيِّدَا شَبَابِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَأَبُوهُمَا خَيْرٌ مِنْهُمَا»
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'Hasan and Husain will be the leaders of the youth of Paradise, and their father is better than them." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 118)
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «الْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ سَيِّدَا شَبَابِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَأَبُوهُمَا خَيْرٌ مِنْهُمَا» معلى بن عبد الرحمن متروك
“The Prophet ﷺ used to seek refuge for Hasan and Husain and say: A’udhu bi kalimatil-lahil- tammati, min kulli shaitanin wa hammah, wa min kulli ‘aynin lammah (I seek refuge for you both in the Perfect Words of Allah, from every devil and every poisonous reptile, and from every evil eye).’ And he would say: ‘Thus Ibrahim used to seek refuge with Allah for Isma’il and Ishaq,’ or he said: ‘for Isma’il and Ya’qub.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3525)
كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُعَوِّذُ الْحَسَنَ وَالْحُسَيْنَ يَقُولُ «أُعِيذُكُمَا بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ» ثُمَّ يَقُولُ «هَكَذَا كَانَ يُعَوِّذُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ ابْنَيْهِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ»
[Machine] "We used to pray the evening prayer with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . When he would prostrate, Al-Hasan and Al-Husain would climb onto his back, and when he raised his head, he would take them and place them gently beside him. When he finished, he made one sit here and the other sit there. So I approached him and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, shall I not take them to their mother?' He replied, 'No.' Then he smiled and said, 'Indeed, their mother's right is upon them.' So they continued to walk in its light until they entered."
كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ الْعِشَاءَ فَكَانَ يُصَلِّي فَإِذَا سَجَدَ وَثَبَ الْحَسَنُ وَالْحُسَيْنُ عَلَى ظَهْرِهِ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ أَخَذَهُمَا فَوَضَعَهُمَا وَضْعًا رَفِيقًا فَإِذَا عَادَ عَادًا فَلَمَّا صَلَّى جَعَلَ وَاحِدًا هَا هُنَا وَوَاحِدًا هَا هُنَا فَجِئْتُهُ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلَا أَذْهَبُ بِهِمَا إِلَى أُمِّهِمَا؟ قَالَ «لَا» فَبَرَقَتْ بَرْقَةً فَقَالَ «الْحَقَا بِأُمِّكُمَا» فَمَا زَالَا يَمْشِيَانِ فِي ضَوْئِهَا حَتَّى دَخَلَا
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said to me, "What have you named your son?" I said, "Harb." He said, "He is Al-Hasan." So, when Al-Hussein was born, I named him Harb, and the Prophet ﷺ said, "What have you named your son?" I said, "Harb." He said, "He is Al-Hussein." Then, when Muhsin was born, he asked, "What have you named your son?" I said, "Harb." He said, "He is Muhsin." Then, the Prophet ﷺ said, "I have named my sons with the names of the sons of Harun, Shabar, Shubayr, and Mushbir."
لِي النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «مَا سَمَّيْتَ ابْنِي؟» قُلْتُ حَرْبًا قَالَ «هُوَ الْحَسَنُ» فَلَمَّا وُلِدَ الْحُسَيْنُ سَمَّيْتُهُ حَرْبًا فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «مَا سَمَّيْتَ ابْنِي؟» قُلْتُ حَرْبًا قَالَ «هُوَ الْحُسَيْنُ» فَلَمَّا أَنْ وُلِدَ مُحْسِنٌ قَالَ «مَا سَمَّيْتَ ابْنِي؟» قُلْتُ حَرْبًا قَالَ «هُوَ مُحْسِنٌ» ثُمَّ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «إِنِّي سَمَّيْتُ بَنِي هَؤُلَاءِ بِتَسْمِيَةِ هَارُونَ بَنِيهِ شَبَرًا وَشُبَيْرًا وَمُشْبِرًا»
27.22 [Machine] The virtues of Al-Hasan ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib and the mention of his birth and death
٢٧۔٢٢ وَمِنْ فَضَائِلِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ؓ وَذِكْرُ مَوْلِدِهِ وَمَقْتَلِهِ
[Machine] And he said, "By my father, he resembles the Prophet but not Ali." And Ali laughs.
وَقَالَ «بِأَبِي شَبِيهٌ بِالنَّبِيِّ لَيْسَ شَبِيهٌ بِعَلِيٍّ» وَعَلِيٌّ يَضْحَكُ
[Machine] "I saw the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ kiss your belly. Show me the place where the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ kissed until I can kiss it." Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) then uncovered the area and kissed it.
«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَبَّلَ بَطْنَكَ» فَاكْشِفِ الْمَوْضِعَ الَّذِي قَبَّلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ حَتَّى أُقَبِّلَهُ قَالَ وَكَشَفَ لَهُ الْحَسَنُ فَقَبَّلَهُ
[Machine] I heard Wahb Ibn Abi Juhaifa saying, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and Al-Hasan Ibn Ali resembled him."
سَمِعْتُ وَهْبًا أَبَا جُحَيْفَةَ يَقُولُ «رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَكَانَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ يُشْبِهُهُ»
[Machine] "There was none among the children of Ali resembling the Messenger of Allah ﷺ more than Al-Hasan." Sahih.
«لَمْ يَكُنْ فِي وَلَدِ عَلِيٍّ أَشْبَهُ بِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنَ الْحَسَنِ» صحيح

[Machine] "Fatima gave birth to Hassan two and a half years after Uhud, and Hassan gave birth four years and six months from that date." Al-Dhahabi remained silent on it in the summary.
«وَلَدَتْ فَاطِمَةُ حَسَنًا بَعْدَ أُحُدٍ بِسَنَتَيْنِ وَنِصْفٍ فَوَلَدَتِ الْحَسَنِ لِأَرْبَعِ سِنِينَ وَسِتَّةِ أَشْهُرٍ مِنَ التَّارِيخِ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

[Machine] "I still love this man after seeing the Messenger of Allah ﷺ doing what he was doing. I saw Al-Hasan come to the Prophet's room ﷺ while he was putting his fingers in the Prophet's beard ﷺ and the Prophet ﷺ was putting his tongue in his mouth, then he said, 'O Allah, I love him, so you should love him.'"
لَا أَزَالُ أَحَبُّ هَذَا الرَّجُلَ بَعْدَمَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَصْنَعُ مَا يَصْنَعُ رَأَيْتُ الْحَسَنَ فِي حِجْرِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَهُوَ يُدْخِلُ أَصَابِعَهُ فِي لِحْيَةِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَالنَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُدْخِلُ لِسَانَهُ فِي فَمَهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أُحِبُّهُ فَأَحِبَّهُ»
This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Zuhri with the same chain of transmitters. (Using translation from Muslim 2556c)
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّهُ سَيِّدٌ»
[Machine] The prophet Mohammed ﷺ kissed his grandson Hasan and embraced him, and placed him on his lap. There was a man from the Ansar (helpers) present, and he said: "O Messenger of Allah, I have a son who is old enough, but I have never kissed him." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "What can I do if Allah has deprived your heart of mercy?"
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَبَّلَ حَسَنًا وَضَمَّهُ إِلَيْهِ وَجَعَلَ يَشُمُّهُ وَعِنْدَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقَالَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ إِنَّ لِي ابْنًا قَدْ بَلَغَ مَا قَبَّلْتُهُ قَطُّ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ كَانَ اللَّهُ نَزَعَ الرَّحْمَةَ مِنْ قَلْبِكَ فَمَا ذَنْبِي؟»
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ came carrying Hassan ibn Ali on his neck. A man met him and said, "What a good passenger you have O young boy!" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "And what a good carrier he is."
أَقْبَلَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَحْمِلُ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ عَلَى رَقَبَتِهِ قَالَ فَلَقِيَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ نِعْمَ الْمَرْكَبُ رَكِبْتَ يَا غُلَامُ قَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «وَنِعْمَ الرَّاكِبُ هُوَ»
[Machine] "The skulls of the Arabs were in my hands, fighting those whom I fought and making peace with those whom I made peace with. I left it seeking the face of Allah the Exalted and preserving the blood of the ummah of Muhammad ﷺ , then the people of the Hijaz tried to take it by force." This is an authentic narration according to the condition of the two sheikhs (referring to Al-Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not include it according to the condition of Al-Bukhari and Muslim.
«قَدْ كَانَ جَمَاجِمُ الْعَرَبِ فِي يَدِي يُحَارِبُونَ مَنْ حَارَبْتُ وَيُسَالِمُونَ مَنْ سَالَمْتُ تَرَكْتُهَا ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى وَحَقْنَ دِمَاءِ أُمَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ ثُمَّ ابْتَزَّهَا بِاتِّئَاسِ أَهْلِ الْحِجَازِ» هَذَا إِسْنَادٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ على شرط البخاري ومسلم
[Machine] Al-Hassan said, "Do not blame me, may Allah have mercy on you. For indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw the Banu Umayyah delivering sermons, one after another, on his pulpit, and that displeased him. So, the verse of the Qur'an was revealed: 'Indeed, We have granted you, [O Muhammad], al-Kawthar. So pray to your Lord and sacrifice [to Him alone]. Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off.' And the verse was revealed: 'Indeed, We sent it down during the Night of Decree. And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree? The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months. The angels and the Spirit descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter. Peace it is until the emergence of dawn.' And the descendants of Umayyah can never equal or decrease [the status of these verses]." This is an authentic narration, and the one who said this to al-Hassan ibn Ali was Sufyan ibn al-Layl, the companion of his father.
الْحَسَنُ «لَا تُؤَنِّبْنِي رَحِمَكَ اللَّهُ فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَدْ رَأَى بَنِي أُمَيَّةَ يَخْطُبُونَ عَلَى مِنْبَرِهِ رَجُلًا رَجُلًا فَسَاءَهُ ذَلِكَ فَنَزَلَتْ إِنَّا أَعْطَيْنَاكَ الْكَوْثَرَ نَهَرٌ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَنَزَلَتْ إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ تَمْلِكُهَا بَنُو أُمَيَّةَ فَحَسْبُنَا ذَلِكَ فَإِذَا هُوَ لَا يَزِيدُ وَلَا يَنْقُصُ» هَذَا إِسْنَادٌ صَحِيحٌ وَهَذَا الْقَائِلُ لِلْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ هَذَا الْقَوْلَ هُوَ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ اللَّيْلِ صَاحِبُ أَبِيهِ
[Machine] I went to Al-Hasan ibn Ali when he pledged allegiance to Muawiyah, and I said, "Oh, the one who darkens the face of the believers." Then, the secret was mentioned by him, (reference to the secret conversation between Al-Hasan and Muawiyah).
أَتَيْتُ الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ حِينَ بَايَعَ مُعَاوِيَةَ فَقُلْتُ يَا مُسَوِّدَ وَجْهِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَهُ بِنَحْوِهِالسري بن إسماعيل واه
[Machine] The significance of the Adhan (Islamic call to prayer) is greater than that Gabriel ﷺ called in pairs in the sky and taught it to the Messenger of Allah. He ﷺ established it time after time, and the Messenger of Allah taught it to Al-Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) when he became the leader. Abu Dawood said, "Noah ibn Diraj is a liar."
شَأْنَ الْأَذَانِ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ ذَاكَ أَذَّنَ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فِي السَّمَاءِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى وَعَلَّمَهُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَقَامُ مَرَّةً مَرَّةً فَعَلَّمَهُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَأَذَّنَ الْحَسَنُ حِينَ وَلِيَ» قال أبو داود نوح بن دراج كذاب
[Machine] "It is a sunnah (practice) that I have taught you, and there was something between them, so Abu Hurayrah said, 'Do you breathe on the son of your prophet ﷺ with soil that you bury him in?' And I heard the messenger of Allah say, 'Whoever loves them both, has indeed loved me, and whoever hates them both, has indeed hated me.'"
أَنَّهَا سُنَّةٌ مَا قَدَّمْتُكَ وَكَانَ بَيْنَهُمْ شَيْءٌ فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ أَتَنْفُسُونَ عَلَى ابْنِ نَبِيِّكُمْ ﷺ بِتُرْبَةٍ تَدْفِنُونَهُ فِيهَا وَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ «مَنْ أَحَبَّهُمَا فَقَدْ أَحَبَّنِي وَمَنْ أَبْغَضَهُمَا فَقَدْ أَبْغَضَنِي»
“My grandfather, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, taught me some words to say in Qunut of Witr: Allahumma ‘afini fiman ‘afait, wa tawallani fiman tawallait, wahdini fiman hadait, wa qini sharra ma qadait, wa barik li fima a’tait. Innaka taqdi wa la yuqda ‘alaik, innahu la yudhillu man walait. Subhanaka rabbana tabarakta wa ta’alait (O Allah, pardon me along with those whom You have pardoned, be an ally to me along with those whom You are an ally to, guide me along with those whom You have guided, protect me from the evil that You have decreed, and bless for me that which You have bestowed. For verily You decree and none can decree over You. He whom You support can never be humiliated. Glory is to You, our Lord, You are Blessed and Exalted).” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1178)
عَلَّمَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي وِتْرِي إِذَا رَفَعْتُ رَأْسِي وَلَمْ يَبْقَ إِلَّا السُّجُودُ «اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنِي فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَ وَعَافِنِي فِيمَنْ عَافَيْتَ وَتَوَلَّنِي فِيمَنْ تَوَلَّيْتَ وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَ وَقِنِي شَرَّ مَا قَضَيْتَ إِنَّكَ تَقْضِي وَلَا يُقْضَى عَلَيْكَ إِنَّهُ لَا يَذِلُّ مَنْ وَالَيْتَ تَبَارَكْتَ رَبَّنَا وَتَعَالَيْتَ»
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught me these words in witr. He said: Say: Allahumma ihdini fiman hadayta wa 'afini fiman afayta wa tawallani fiman tawallayta wa barik li fima a'tayta, wa qini sharra ma qadayta, fa innaka taqdi wa la yuqda 'alayk, wa innahu la yadhilluman walayta, tabarakta Rabbana wa at'alayt. Wa salla Allahu ala al-Nabi Muhammad (O Allah, guide me among those whom You have guided, pardon me among those You have pardoned, turn to me in friendship among those on whom You have turned in friendship, and bless me in what You have bestowed, and save me from the evil of what You have decreed. For verily You decree and none can influence You; and he is not humiliated whom You have befriended. Blessed are You, O Lord, and Exalted. And may Allah (SWT) send salah upon the Prophet Muhammad)'" (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1746)
عَلَّمَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ هَؤُلَاءِ الْكَلِمَاتِ فِي الْوِتْرِ «اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنِي فِيمَنْ هَدَيْتَ وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيمَا أَعْطَيْتَ وَقِنِي شَرَّ مَا قَضَيْتَ فَإِنَّكَ تَقْضِي وَلَا يُقْضَى عَلَيْكَ وَإِنَّهُ لَا يَذِلُّ مَنْ وَالَيْتَ تَبَارَكْتَ رَبَّنَا وَتَعَالَيْتَ» حذفه الذهبي من التلخيص لضعفه
[Machine] "A man has been taken away tonight, whom the first and the last cannot surpass in deeds and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to give him his banner and he would fight while Jibril stood on his right and Mika'il on his left. He does not turn back until Allah grants him victory, and he does not leave anything on the people of the earth, whether it be yellow or white, except for seven hundred dirhams from his gifts. He wanted to buy a servant for his family with them."
"Then he said, 'O people, whoever knows me has known me, and whoever does not know me, I am Al-Hasan ibn Ali, I am the son of the Prophet, I am the son of the appointed successor, I am the son of the bearer of glad tidings, I am the son of the warner, I am the son of the caller to Allah by His permission, I am the son of the shining lamp, and I am from the people of the household to whom Jibril used to descend and ascend from among us. I am from the people of the household whom Allah has removed impurity from and purified an absolute purification. I am from the people of the household whom Allah has made their love obligatory upon every Muslim.' And Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, said to His Prophet ﷺ, 'Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it except love of the near relatives.' And whoever does a good deed, We will increase for him in good over it.' [42:23] So, the doing of a good deed is love for us, the people of the household, is not correct."
«لَقَدْ قُبِضَ فِي هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةَ رَجُلٌ لَا يَسْبِقُهُ الْأَوَّلُونَ بِعَمَلٍ وَلَا يُدْرِكُهُ الْآخِرُونَ وَقَدْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُعْطِيهِ رَايَتَهُ فَيُقَاتِلُ وَجِبْرِيلُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَمِيكَائِيلُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ فَمَا يَرْجِعُ حَتَّى يَفْتَحَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَمَا تَرَكَ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ صَفْرَاءَ وَلَا بَيْضَاءَ إِلَّا سَبْعَ مِائَةِ دِرْهَمٍ فَضَلَتْ مِنْ عَطَايَاهُ أَرَادَ أَنْ يَبْتَاعَ بِهَا خَادِمًا لِأَهْلِهِ» ثُمَّ قَالَ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ مَنْ عَرَفَنِي فَقَدْ عَرَفَنِي وَمَنْ لَمْ يَعْرِفْنِي فَأَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ وَأَنَا ابْنُ النَّبِيِّ وَأَنَا ابْنُ الْوَصِيِّ وَأَنَا ابْنُ الْبَشِيرِ وَأَنَا ابْنُ النَّذِيرِ وَأَنَا ابْنُ الدَّاعِي إِلَى اللَّهِ بِإِذْنِهِ وَأَنَا ابْنُ السِّرَاجِ الْمُنِيرِ وَأَنَا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَيْتِ الَّذِي كَانَ جِبْرِيلُ يَنْزِلُ إِلَيْنَا وَيَصْعَدُ مِنْ عِنْدِنَا وَأَنَا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَيْتِ الَّذِي أَذْهَبَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمُ الرِّجْسَ وَطَهَّرَهُمْ تَطْهِيرًا وَأَنَا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَيْتِ الَّذِي افْتَرَضَ اللَّهُ مَوَدَّتَهُمْ عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ فَقَالَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى لِنَبِيِّهِ ﷺ {قُلْ لَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ أَجْرًا إِلَّا الْمَوَدَّةَ فِي الْقُرْبَى وَمَنْ يَقْتَرِفْ حَسَنَةً نَزِدْ لَهُ فِيهَا حُسْنًا} [الشورى 23] فَاقْتِرَافُ الْحَسَنَةِ مَوَدَّتُنَا أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ ليس بصحيح
