[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "For a man from the Quraysh, the strength is equivalent to the strength of two men from the Quraysh." Al-Zuhri said, "It means obtaining leadership."
[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said to Umar ibn al-Khattab, "O Umar, gather your people for me." So he gathered them, and then the Prophet entered upon them and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have gathered them. Should they come to you or should you go to them?" He said, "No, I will go to them." The Emigrants and the Helpers heard this, and they said, "There has come a revelation about the Quraysh." The onlookers and the listeners were present with them, so the Prophet stood among them and said, "Is there anyone among you other than yourselves?" They said, "Yes, among us are our allies, the sons of our brothers, and our supporters." The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said, "Our allies are from among us, and our supporters are from among us." Then he said, "Do you listen to those among you who are righteous? If you are among them, then it is as I have said. If not, then hearken and beware, for people will not bring their deeds to you while you bring your burdens to them." Then he called out, raising his voice, and said, "Indeed, the Quraysh are the people of trust. Whoever transgresses against them, Allah will disgrace him from his throat." He repeated this statement three times.
[Machine] While we were sitting in the courtyard of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , a woman passed by. A man from the people said, "This is the daughter of Muhammad." Abu Sufyan said, "Indeed, the likeness of Muhammad among the Banu Hashim is like the sweet-scented flower in the middle of the fig trees." The woman went and informed the Prophet ﷺ , so the Prophet came out with anger apparent on his face and said, "What is the matter with people's words reaching me? Verily, Allah, Blessed and Exalted, created the heavens and chose the highest, then He created creation and chose from His creation the Children of Adam, and from the Children of Adam He chose the Arabs, and from the Arabs He chose Mudar, and from Mudar He chose Quraysh, and from Quraysh He chose Banu Hashim, and from Banu Hashim He chose me. So, I am from Banu Hashim, from the best to the best. So, whoever loves the Arabs, then they should love me, and whoever hates the Arabs, then they should hate me." And it has been narrated in this chain from Muhammad ibn Dhuwān from 'Amr ibn Dīnār from Abdullah ibn 'Umar.
[Machine] While we were sitting in the courtyard of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he mentioned the entire narration exactly as it happened.
[Machine] "O my son, if you are to be appointed over the people in any matter, then honor the Quraysh, for I have heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Whoever humiliates the Quraysh, Allah will humiliate him.' Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in his summary."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever seeks to disgrace the Quraysh, Allah will disgrace him." This hadith was narrated by Al-Laith ibn Saad from Yazid ibn Abdullah ibn Usama ibn Al-Hadi, who heard it from Ibrahim ibn Saad. He is considered one of the trustworthy narrators when it comes to transmitting the statements of the elders from the younger generation.
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever seeks to humiliate the Quraysh, Allah will humiliate him without a doubt." Yusuf ibn Abi Aqil, undoubtedly the son of al-Hakam, and the narration from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is authentic, that a child does not bear the sins of his father.
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying on the pulpit, "What is the matter with people who claim that my intercession will not benefit them? By Allah, my intercession is connected to this world and the hereafter. And oh people, I will have more followers at the Pond (of Kawthar), but when I arrive, some men will stand up and say, 'This is O Messenger of Allah, I am so-and-so,' and another will say, 'This is O Messenger of Allah, I am so-and-so,' and another will say, 'This is O Messenger of Allah, I am so-and-so.' Then I will say, 'I have recognized you, but you have innovated after me and returned to disbelief.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The safety of the people of the earth from conflict is through loyalty to the Quraysh, for Quraysh are the people of Allah. But when a tribe from the Arabs opposes them, it becomes a party of Satan."
"We used to come across groups of Quraish who would be talking, but they would stop talking (when we approached). We mentioned that to the Messenger of Allah and he said: 'What is the matter with people who talk, then when they see a man from my family they stop talking? By Allah, faith will not enter a person's heart until he loves them for the sake of Allah and because of their closeness to me.'" (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 140)
[Machine] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, when Quraysh meet each other, they greet one another with smiles. But when they meet us, they meet us with unknown faces." He became extremely angry and then said, "By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, faith does not enter the heart of a man until he loves you for the sake of Allah and His Messenger." Al-Dhahabi remained quiet on this matter in summary.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The leaders are from Quraysh. The righteous ones among them are the leaders of the righteous, and the wicked ones among them are the leaders of the wicked. Everyone has a right, so give everyone their due right. And if I appoint a slave of Abyssinian descent as a leader over you, then listen to him and obey him as long as he does not command you to commit a sin. If he commands you to commit a sin, then none of you should choose between embracing Islam or have his neck struck, but instead he should prioritize having his neck struck, for he will lose both this world and the Hereafter after abandoning Islam." Al-Dhahabi remained silent about this statement in his summary.
