[Machine] He informed him that he had arrived in Sham during the time of Muawiyah, so some people from the people of Sham met him and said to him, "Aren't you a relative of Muadh?" He said, "I am his cousin." They said, "Shall we not inform you of a hadith that he narrated to us before his death but did not narrate to us before that?" So I said, "Yes." They said, "He narrated to us before his death that he heard the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, saying, 'Whoever meets Allah without associating anything with Him will enter Paradise.'" Musa ibn Jubayr said, "So I narrated this hadith to Salman al-Farisi, and he said, 'I testify that Sa'id ibn al-Harith ibn Abdul-Muttalib narrated to me a similar hadith from the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, just as the people of Sham narrated from Muadh.'"  

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ قَدِمَ الشَّامَ فِي عَهْدِ مُعَاوِيَةَ فَلَقِيَهُ نَفَرٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الشَّامِ فَقَالُوا أَمَا قَرَابَةُ مَا بَيْنَكَ وَبَيْنَ مُعَاذٍ؟ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ ابْنُ عَمٍّ قَالُوا أَفَلَا نُحَدِّثُكَ بِحَدِيثٍ حَدَّثَنَا بِهِ قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ حَدَّثَنَا بِهِ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ؟ فَقُلْتُ بَلَى فَقَالَ حَدَّثَنَا قَبْلَ مَوْتِهِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِهِ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ» قَالَ مُوسَى بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ فَحَدَّثْتُ سَلْمَانَ الْأَغَرَّ بِحَدِيثِ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ هَذَا فَقَالَ أَشْهَدُ لَحَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِثْلَ مَا حَدَّثَ بِهِ الشَّامِيُّونَ عَنْ مُعَاذٍ عنه الذهبي في التلخيص
