12.71 [Machine] Whoever performs the welcome tawaf without intending to enter the state of ihram, he does not become a muhrim. Imam Al-Shafi`i, may Allah have mercy on him, said: It has been narrated that Ibn Mas'ud met a group of people entering Makkah in the state of ihram, so he performed the welcome tawaf, while he himself was inside the Ka'bah. ١٢۔٧١ بَابُ مَنْ لَبَّى لَا يُرِيدُ إِحْرَامًا لَمْ يَصِرْ مُحْرِمًا قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ رَحِمَهُ اللهُ: رُوِيَ أَنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ لَقِيَ رُكْبَانًا بِالسَّالِحِينَ مُحْرِمِينَ فَلَبَّوْا , وَلَبَّى ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ وَهُوَ دَاخِلٌ الْكُوفَةَ وَقَدْ مَضَى عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " إِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ "
