12.95 [Machine] Whoever needs to cover his head or wear a hat, or needs medicine that contains perfume, is allowed to do so out of necessity and expiation. This is based on the evidence of the hadeeth of Ka'b ibn 'Ujrah, which will be mentioned inshaAllah. It has also been narrated that Ibn 'Umar and Ibn 'Abbas did the same.

١٢۔٩٥ بَابُ مَنِ احْتَاجَ إِلَى تَغْطِيَةِ رَأْسِهِ أَوْ لُبْسِ مَخِيطٍ, أَوْ إِلَى دَوَاءٍ فِيهِ طِيبٌ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ لِلضَّرُورَةِ وَافْتَدَى اسْتِدْلَالًا بِحَدِيثِ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ الَّذِي يَرِدُ بَعْدَ هَذَا إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ , وَرُوِيَ فِي ذَلِكَ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
