25. Chapter of Mīm (Male) (25/33)
[Machine] "I saw the Prophet ﷺ perform ablution. When he reached the step of wiping his head, he placed his hands on the front of his head, then he moved his hands until he reached the back of his head, and then he returned his hands to the place where he began."
25.432 [Machine] Abd al-Rahman ibn Maysarah, from al-Miqdam ibn Ma'di Karib
[Machine] These two eyes which saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ have succeeded. Al-Miqdam became angry and said, "O people, do not wish for something that Allah has hidden from you."
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Obey your rulers no matter what, for if they order you with something I have brought to you, they will be rewarded for it and you will be rewarded for obeying them. And if they order you with something I have not brought to you, it is their responsibility and you are free from it. This is because when you meet Allah, you will say, "Our Lord, there was no injustice." And He will say, "There is no injustice." So you will say, "Our Lord, You sent messengers to us and we obeyed them by Your permission. And You appointed successors over us and we obeyed them by Your permission. And You commanded us to obey our rulers and we obeyed them for Your sake." Then you will say, "You spoke the truth." It is upon them and you are free from it.'"
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "There will come a time upon people when anyone who does not have yellow or white (food) will not be able to live comfortably."
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "In the last days, people must have dirhams and dinars, as a man's religion and worldly affairs will be established by them."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you loves his brother, let him inform him of that."
25.433 [Machine] Habib bin Ubaid Al Rahbi, from Al Muqaddam
[Machine] "That the Prophet ﷺ said, 'No one fills a container worse than their stomach. If their desires overpower them, then let them leave one-third for their stomach.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "There is no one who dies while still a child or in a difficult condition, except that people are in between that, but they will be resurrected thirty years old. Whoever is from the people of paradise will have the features of Adam, the image of Yusuf, and the heart of Ayub. And whoever is from the people of the Fire will be enormous and bulky like mountains."
[Machine] We said to Al-Miqdam ibn Ma'di Karb Al-Kindi, "O Abu Kareemah, people claim that you never saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ." He said, "Indeed, by Allah, I did see him and he even took hold of my earlobe like this. And I used to walk with my uncle, then he said to my uncle, 'Do you think he remembers?' We said, 'O Abu Kareemah, tell us what you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ .' He said, 'I heard him say, 'All that is between the umbilical cord and the toothless old man will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection with the creation of Adam, the heart of Ayyub, and the beauty of Yusuf, darkened with kohl.' We said, 'O Messenger of Allah, then what about the disbeliever?' He said, 'He will be enlarged for the Fire until his skin becomes forty cubits thick and the molar tooth will be like Uhud.''
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The rights of a guest are obligatory. If he becomes deprived in the courtyard, it is necessary to support him among the Muslims until they fulfill his right from his crops and livestock, as he has been deprived of the right of hospitality."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "On the Day of Resurrection, the sun will draw near to the people until it is as close as the distance of two bows. Its heat will intensify and scorch them, and they will be in perspiration according to their deeds. Among them will be those whose perspiration will reach their ankles, some will have it reach their knees, some their waists, and some will be completely submerged in perspiration." He said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pointing with his hands towards his mouth." Ibrahim bin 'Urq narrated this from 'Umar bin Khath'am, from Sulaim, from Al-Miqdam.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "If a person gets lost from a group and they do not recognize him, then he has the right to search for them in the same direction they took."
[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "Whoever comes to a people, it is upon them to entertain him, and if they do not entertain him, then he has the right to punish them in the same manner."
[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said, "I have been given the book, and whatever is comparable to it is about to be spread on his sofa. He will say, 'Between us and you is this book. Whatever is lawful in it, we have made it lawful, and whatever is unlawful in it, we have made it unlawful.' Beware! He does not allow the meat of predatory animals, domestic donkeys, or the slaughtered offerings of the polytheists unless they are driven away. And whoever usurps a people and they do not surrender to him, then he must fight them until they surrender."
25.435 [Machine] Abdul Rahman ibn Abi Auf Al-Jurashi, from Al-Miqdad
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have been given the Book and something similar to it. It is as if a full stomach will soon be upon its cushion, saying to you with the Quran: 'Whatever you find in it that is lawful, consider it permissible, and whatever you find in it that is prohibited, consider it forbidden.' Know that it is not permissible for you to ride the domestic donkey, nor any carnivorous animal with fangs from the wild, nor the lost property of a treaty unless its owner declares it unnecessary. Whoever stays with a people must abide by their customs."
25.436 [Machine] Rashid ibn Saad, on Al-Miqdam.
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Indeed, you will open up horizons in which there are houses called 'bathrooms', it is forbidden for my nation to enter them." So, they said, "O Messenger of Allah, it removes impurity and cleans dirt." He said, "Indeed, it is permissible for the males of my nation to enter them, but it is forbidden for the females of my nation."
[Machine] I was with the Prophet ﷺ when Abbas ibn Abdul-Muttalib entered upon him, and he was angry. He said, "O Messenger of Allah, why do we and the Quraysh not have the same behavior? When they meet, they meet with cheerful faces, but when they meet us, they meet us differently." The Prophet ﷺ became angry until his face turned red and said, "The heart of a person does not have faith until he loves you for the sake of Allah and His Messenger, more than he loves his own father."
[Machine] Abbas entered upon the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, the Quraysh meet each other with bright faces, while they meet us with disagreement." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ became angry until the veins of his forehead became prominent, and then he said, "A servant does not taste the sweetness of faith until he loves you for the sake of Allah and His Messenger."
[Machine] Al-Abbas came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was angry and said, "What is happening to us and the Quraysh?" The Prophet replied, "What is happening to you and them until it happened to you?" Al-Abbas said, "Some of them met each other with bright faces, but when they see us, they meet us with other than that." The Prophet became angry until a vein was visible between his eyes. When he calmed down, he said, "By the One in whose hand is my soul, a man does not truly have faith until he loves you for the sake of Allah and His Messenger." Then he said, "What is it with these men who harm me in the person of Al-Abbas? Indeed, he resembles his father in his manner."
[Machine] Some people from the Ansar came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, we hear from a group of people who say that the likeness of Muhammad is like that of a palm tree that has grown in barren land." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up and said, "O people, who am I?" They said, "You are the Messenger of Allah." He said, "I am Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Abdul-Muttalib. Before this, we did not hear anyone claim such a thing. Verily, Allah created His creation and made me amongst the best of His creation. Then He divided them into two groups and made me amongst the best of the two groups. Then He made them into tribes and made me amongst the best of them. Then He made them into houses and made me amongst the best of them. So I am the best of you in terms of lineage and the best of you in terms of soul."
[Machine] "Some of the Ansar said to the Prophet Muhammad, ﷺ , 'We hear people from the Quraysh saying that the likeness of Muhammad is like a palm tree that grew in a valley.' So the Prophet, ﷺ , asked them, 'Who am I?' They replied, 'You are the Messenger of Allah.' He then said, 'I am Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Abdul-Muttalib.' They asked, 'What did we hear you say before?' He said, 'Indeed, Allah created His creatures and divided them into two groups, and He made me from the best of the two groups. He then made them into tribes, and He made me from the best of them, a noble tribe. So I am the best of you in lineage and the best of you in soul."
25.437 [Machine] What is his name?
25.438 [Machine] The demand of Bn Rabee'ah bin Harith bin AbdulMutallib bin Hisham bin AbdulManaf, and it's also said: AbdulMutallib, and he died in Damascus, where he used to live, and he passed away in the year sixty-one.
[Machine] The Sons of Abdul-Muttalib gathered and said, "Why don't you ask the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to appoint among you someone like he appointed among the family of so-and-so, who would appoint for you the leadership?" They met with Ali and spoke to him. He said, "Indeed, Allah and His Messenger have forbidden that for you, to have the filth of people's hands or what is called the washing of people's hands." Abdul-Muttalib said to his father, "Send me." So Abbas, his son, was sent and we came to the Prophet ﷺ . We entered and each one of us was individually addressed by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who said, "What do you request here?" I said, "O Messenger of Allah, your people and the sons of your uncle were sent so that you may appoint among them what you have appointed among the people, leadership." He said, "Indeed, Allah and His Messenger have forbidden you from eating filth or what is called the washing of people's hands."

[Machine] The sons of Abdul Mutallib gathered and said, "Why don't you ask the messenger of Allah ﷺ to appoint someone among you as he did with the sons of so-and-so and make you leaders?" So they met with Ali and spoke to him. He said, "Indeed, Allah ﷻ and His messenger have forbidden that for you, to have the impurities of people's hands or he said, the washing of people's hands. Abdul Mutallib said to his father, "Send me," so Abbas sent his son Al-Fadl, and we came to the Prophet ﷺ and entered. He singled out each of us and asked, "What brings you here?" So I said, "O messenger of Allah, your people and the sons of your uncle have been appointed with leadership, and we want the same for us." He said, "Indeed, Allah has forbidden that for you, and so has His messenger, for you to eat the impurities or he said, the washing of people's hands."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the mosque, and there was a man who had completed his prayer and was in the final sitting position, saying, "O Allah, I ask You by Allah, the One, the Self-Sufficient Master, who has not begotten, nor has been begotten, and equal to Him is not anyone, that You forgive my sins. Indeed, You are the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said, "He has been forgiven, he has been forgiven, he has been forgiven."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , continued until we reached the Battle of Uhud and looked over the city of Medina. He said, "Woe to the city whose people leave it, while it is still inhabited and the Antichrist (Dajjal) comes to it and finds on each of its paths an angel guarding it." Then he descended until he reached the mosque, and there he saw a man standing and praying, reciting (the Quran). He said, "Do you see him? That is Abdullah ibn Qais. Verily, he has a gentle temperament." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, shall I not inform him of this?" He said, "No, be cautious and do not inform him, lest he be destroyed." Then the Messenger of Allah descended, and when we arrived at the mosque, we found Buraydah al-Aslami at one of the doors of the mosque, and there was a man in the mosque prolonging the prayer. Buraydah was known for his jokes, so he said, "O Mahjan, why don't you pray like Sukbah prays?" But he did not respond to him, and he returned. When he came to his house, he said, "The best of our religion is the easiest of it. The best of your religion is the easiest of it. The best of your religion is the easiest of it." Three times.

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me on an errand, and while I was outside of Madinah, he took me by the hand and we set off until we reached Uhud. Then, he turned towards Madinah and said, "Woe to its mother! A city whose people abandon it like a neglected sheep." I asked, "O Prophet of Allah, who eats its fruit?" He said, "The birds and wild animals enjoy it, and the Dajjal (Antichrist) will not enter it. Every time he tries to enter it, he will be met by an angel standing at each of its entrances." Then, he continued until we reached the gate of the mosque. There, we saw a man praying, and he said, "Would he say it truthfully?" I said, "O Messenger of Allah, this is so-and-so, he is one of the most frequent in prayer among the people of Madinah." He said, "Do not praise him or you will destroy him."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me to a barrier to the right of the city for a need. When I returned, I went with him until we reached Uhud and he faced the city and said, "Woe to your mother, a village that abandons you while you are the best it has to offer." Then he descended and I descended with him until we reached the gate of the mosque. He saw a man praying and he placed his hand on his shoulder, illuminating him with his light. He said, "Does he say it truthfully?" He said it three times. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, this and this are the worshippers of the people of the city." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Beware, do not let him hear you lest you ruin him." He said it three times.
