[Machine] I said, "O Messenger of Allah, inform me of a deed that will admit me into Paradise." He said, "Worship Allah and do not associate anything with Him, establish the obligatory prayers, and pay the obligatory charity. Shall I guide you to the gates of goodness? Fasting is a shield, charity extinguishes sins, and the standing of a servant in the depths of the night." Then he recited the verse, "Their sides forsake their beds." I said, "Shall I inform you of that which encompasses all of them?" He gestured with his hand towards his tongue and said, "Restraint of the tongue." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, will we be held accountable for what we say?" He said, "May your mother be bereaved of you! Is there anything that throws people into the Hellfire upon their faces or on their noses except the harvests of their tongues?"

[Machine] I came to the Prophet ﷺ to seek him, but I was told that he had left. So I decided not to ask anyone until I found him standing in prayer. When he finished his prayer, I said, "You have indeed prayed a long prayer." He replied, "I prayed out of desire and fear. I asked Allah three things and He gave me two of them and prevented me from one. I asked Him not to destroy my nation by drowning and He granted it to me. I asked Him not to expose them to an enemy who is not from among them, and He granted it to me. And I asked Him not to cause discord among them, but instead, He returned it to me."
