25. Chapter of Mīm (Male)

25.431 [Machine] Shuraih bin 'Ubayd al-Hadrami, from al-Miqdam bin Ma'di Karib

tabarani:17851Hāshim b. Marthad al-Ṭabarānī > Muḥammad b. Ismāʿīl b. ʿAyyāsh from my father > Ḍamḍam b. Zurʿah > Shurayḥ b. ʿUbayd > al-Miqdām b. Maʿdī Karib And ʾAbī Umāmah al-Bāhilī

[Machine] A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ , this matter is among your people, so advise them about us." So he said to them, "I remind you of Allah, do not seek authority over my nation after me." Then he said to the people, "There will be rulers after me, so obey them. Indeed, the ruler is like a shield by which you are protected. If they do good and govern you with righteousness, then it is for you and for them. But if they do evil in what they command you, then it is upon them and you are free from blame. Indeed, when a ruler follows doubt among the people, he corrupts them."

[Machine] I heard al-Miqdam bin Ma'di Karib say, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was brought with ablution." So he performed ablution, washed his hands three times, then washed his face three times, then washed his arms three times, then gargled and sniffed water three times, then wiped his head, his ears (both outer and inner parts), and washed his feet three times.

[Machine] "I saw the Prophet ﷺ perform ablution. When he reached the step of wiping his head, he placed his hands on the front of his head, then he moved his hands until he reached the back of his head, and then he returned his hands to the place where he began."
