tabarani:17541Abū ʿUmar al-Ḍarīr Muḥammad b. ʿUthmān b. Saʿīd al-Kūfī > Aḥmad b. Yūnus > Abū Bakr b. ʿAyyāsh > ʿĀṣim b. Abū al-Najūd > Abū Burdah from his father > Abū al-Malīḥ

[Machine] Narrated Mu'adh bin Jabal: The Prophet ﷺ used to take the Muhajirun for a journey and would lose them for a night at some place. On that he would say, "You will be in place where I will be on the Day of Resurrection and I will be your witness and I will meet you at the Haud Kauthar (i.e. a tank from which the believers will drink on the Day of Resurrection)."

We found a racer as fast as a cloud and we received him coming back. I said, "O Allah's Messenger ﷺ ! We lost you and were afraid that we might be harmed for your sake." The Prophet ﷺ said, "I was not touched but a messenger from my Lord came to me and said, 'Would it please you that Allah will call you publicly or would it please you that you should return to your place of worship and Allah will make you a righteous Caliph?' So I chose Allah as my Lord and the other one. Allah's Messenger ﷺ on our behalf said, 'O Allah! Choose for us our place of worship.' Two angels came to me in my dream and took me to a mountain of silver. Later on I recognized it as being the Mountain of Uhud."

The angel Gabriel, ﷺ , came to the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, and gave him two choices: either to enter Paradise with half of his Ummah (nation) or to intercede for his Ummah on the Judgment Day. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, chose the intercession.

Mu'adh bin Jabal said, "O Allah's Messenger ﷺ ! Please ask Allah's forgiveness for me." The Prophet ﷺ said, "There will be a Mu'adh bin Jabal who will be one of the inhabitants of Hellfire." Mu'adh bin Jabal said, "Allahu-Akbar!" The Prophet ﷺ said, "What is the matter?" Mu'adh said, "Shall I seek your intercession on the Day of Resurrection?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "Yes." Mu'adh said, "O Allah's Messenger ﷺ ! Assist me in obeying you and let me be one of your companions in Paradise." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Cut off what is in your mind and become pure, and ask Allah's forgiveness one hundred times a day."

Then the Prophet ﷺ said to Mu'adh bin Jabal, "Shall I inform you with the best treasure that a believer can take with him?" Mu'adh replied, "Yes, O Allah's Messenger ﷺ !" The Prophet said, "It is health and a satisfied self; and whoever passes over the bridge (in Paradise) in the lightest of foot will be the first to enter Paradise." Mu'adh bin Jabal said, "O Allah's Messenger ﷺ ! Say it again." The Prophet ﷺ said, "It is health and a satisfied self; and whoever passes over the bridge (in Paradise) in the lightest of foot will be the first to enter Paradise."

Then a man came and asked the Prophet ﷺ "O Allah's Messenger ﷺ ! What is the first action done by Allah?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "He created the pen, and commanded it with writing." The man then said, "O Allah's Messenger ﷺ ! What has been written?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "The decreed measures of everything (in the creation) till the Hour (Day of Resurrection)." The man said, "O Allah's Messenger ﷺ ! What are the decreed measures of everything?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah has created Adam, and He took out of him his offspring as dust, and He scattered them (offspring) Allah's hands are in the full control of His Right Hand. Then Allah finished from His saying, 'O My creatures! Go and get out the portion of (your provisions) granted for you (in this world), for I do not know what other thing is going to be added to your wealth in this world.'

There are many passages from which it is not appropriate to use the word "Allah." Some of these passages are taken from the sources while some of them are taken from the sources in a different level of unanimity than others. There are also passages referred to here that contain clear text with linguistic meanings that contradict the sound foundations of Islamic creed.
