[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , on the day of the conquest of Mecca, saying, "No Qurayshi shall be killed after this day except for a just cause until the Day of Resurrection." And no one from the disobedient Quraysh embraced Islam except in obedience, and his name was Al-Aas. So the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , named him Mu'ti'.

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say on the day of the conquest of Makkah: "After this day, no Quraishi will be killed unjustly until the Day of Judgment." No one from the rebellious Quraish was accepted as a Muslim except for a man named Al-'As, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ renamed him as Mu'ti' (the obedient one).

tabarani:17894ʿAlī b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz > Abū Nuʿaym > Sufyān > Zayd b. Aslam > Bishr b. Miḥjan al-Dīlī from his father

[Machine] I came to the Prophet ﷺ after having prayed with my family, and the call for prayer was made. I sat down, and when he finished praying, he asked me, "Are you a Muslim?" I replied, "Yes." He said, "What prevented you from praying with the people?" I said, "I had already prayed with my family." He said, "Pray with the people, even if you have prayed with your family." This narration was reported by Sufyan from Zaid bin Aslam from Bishr bin Mahjan, but there is doubt regarding it being Busr bin Mahjan. This is how Malik reported it, as well as the companions of Zaid bin Aslam.

[Machine] Al-Qa'nabi narrated from Malik that Abu Yazid al-Qaratisi narrated from Abdullah ibn Abdul Hakam narrated from Malik that Bakr ibn Sahl narrated from Abdullah ibn Yusuf that Malik narrated from Ali ibn Al-Mubarak al-San'aani who narrated from Ismail ibn Abi Uwais who narrated to me that Malik narrated from Zaid ibn Aslam from a man from the Banu Dail whose name was Busr ibn Mahjan, who narrated from his father that he was in a gathering with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave the call for prayer, then he stood up and prayed with them, and then he returned to his gathering, and Mahjan was in his gathering, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "What prevented you from praying with the people? Are you not a Muslim?" He said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah, but I have prayed with my family." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "When you come, then pray with the people, even if you have already prayed."

[Machine] I prayed Dhuhr or Asr prayer in my house, then I came to the Prophet ﷺ and sat with him. The prayer was established and the Prophet ﷺ prayed, but I did not pray. When he finished, he asked, "Are you not a Muslim?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Why didn't you pray?" I said, "I have already prayed in my house." The Prophet ﷺ said, "When the prayer is established, pray even if you have already prayed."

[Machine] I went to the Prophet ﷺ and spoke to him about a matter. Then the prayer was established and I was sitting. The Prophet ﷺ prayed, then he left and found me sitting. He said to me, "Are you a Muslim?" I said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "So what prevented you from praying with us?" I said, "Indeed, I have already prayed in my saddlebag." He said, "Even if you have already prayed in your saddlebag."
