[Machine] "We raided with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and we acquired sheep. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ distributed a portion of it among us and kept the rest as spoils."  

«غَزَوْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَصَبْنَا غَنَمًا فَقَسَمَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ طَائِفَةً مَنْهَا وَجَعَلَ بَقِيَّتَهَا فِي الْمَغْنَمِ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent me to Yemen and said, "Perhaps you will pass by my mosque and my grave, and I have sent you to a people whose hearts are soft. They fight for the truth, so fight alongside those who obey you and against those who disobey you, until even a woman hurries to embrace Islam before her husband, and a child his parents, and a brother his brother. Then descend between the two valleys of tranquility and peace."  

بَعَثَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِلَى الْيَمَنِ فَقَالَ «لَعَلَّكَ أَنْ تَمُرَّ بِمَسْجِدِي وَقَبْرِي وَقَدْ بَعَثْتُكَ إِلَى قَوْمٍ رُقَيْقَةٌ قُلُوبُهُمْ يُقَاتِلُونُ عَلَى الْحَقِّ فَقَاتِلْ بِمَنْ أَطَاعَكَ مِنْهُمْ مَنْ عَصَاكَ ثُمَّ يَفِيئُونَ إِلَى الْإِسْلَامِ حَتَّى تُبَادِرَ الْمَرْأَةُ زَوْجَهَا وَالْوَلَدُ والِدَهُ وَالْأَخُ أَخَاهُ فَانْزِلْ بَيْنَ الْحَيَّيْنِ السَّكُونِ وَالسَّكَاسِكِ»  

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , say: "Take charity as long as it is still charity. But when it becomes a bribe in religion, do not take it, and you are not leaving it, poverty and need will prevent you. Verily, the circle of Islam is revolving, so revolve with the Book wherever it turns. Verily, the Book and the authority will separate, so do not separate from the Book. Indeed, there will be rulers over you who will rule for themselves what they do not rule for you. If you disobey them, they will kill you, and if you obey them, they will lead you astray." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, what should we do?" He said, "Do as the disciples of Jesus son of Mary did. They were scattered with sheets and carried on the wood. Death in the obedience of Allah is better than life in disobedience to Allah."  

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «خُذُوا الْعَطَاءَ مَا دَامَ عَطَاءً فَإِذَا صَارَ رِشْوَةً فِي الدِّينِ فَلَا تَأْخُذُوهُ وَلَسْتُمْ بِتَارِكِيهِ يَمْنَعْكُمُ الْفَقْرَ وَالْحَاجَةَ أَلَا إِنَّ رَحَى الْإِسْلَامِ دَائِرَةٌ فَدُورُوا مَعَ الْكِتَابِ حَيْثُ دَارَ أَلَا إِنَّ الْكِتَابَ وَالسُّلْطَانَ سَيَفْتَرِقَانِ فَلَا تُفَارِقُوا الْكِتَابَ أَلَا إِنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أُمَرَاءُ يَقْضُونَ لِأَنْفُسِهِمْ مَا لَا يَقْضُونَ لَكُمْ إِنْ عَصَيْتُمُوهُمْ قَتَلُوكُمْ وَإِنْ أَطَعْتُمُوهُمْ أَضَلُّوكُمْ» قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ كَيْفَ نَصْنَعُ؟ قَالَ «كَمَا صَنَعَ أَصْحَابُ عِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ نُشِرُوا بِالْمَنَاشِيرَ وَحُمِلُوا عَلَى الْخَشَبِ مَوْتٌ فِي طَاعَةِ اللهِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ حَيَاةٍ فِي مَعْصِيَةِ اللهِ»  

[Machine] Narrated from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said: "The Great Battle, the Conquest of Constantinople, and the Emergence of the False Messiah (Antichrist) will occur within seven months."  

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «الْمَلْحَمَةُ الْعُظْمَى وَفَتْحُ الْقُسْطَنْطِينِيَّةِ وَخُرُوجُ الدَّجَّالِ فِي سَبْعَةِ أَشْهُرٍ»  

"The great Malhamah, the conquest of Constantinople, and the coming of the Dajjal occur in (the span of) seven months." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 2238)  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «الْمَلْحَمَةُ الْعُظْمَى وَفَتْحُ قُسْطَنْطِينِيَّةَ وَخُرُوجُ الدَّجَّالِ فِي سَبْعَةِ أَشْهُرٍ»  

[Machine] "On the authority of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , he said: 'There are two types of military expeditions (Ghazwa). As for the one who fights seeking the face of Allah, obeying the leader, spending wealth generously, and aiding his companions while avoiding corruption in the land, then his every moment of sleep and wakefulness is good. And as for the one who fights for pride, showmanship, reputation, disobeys the leader, and spreads corruption in the land, then he will not return with sufficiency.'"  

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ الْغَزْوُ غَزْوَانِ فَأَمَّا مَنْ غَزَا ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ اللهِ وَأَطَاعَ الْإِمَامَ وَأَنْفَقَ الْكَرِيمَةَ وَوَاسى الشَّرِيكَ وَاجْتَنَبَ الْفَسَادَ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَإِنَّ نَوْمَهُ وَسَهَرَهُ كُلَّهُ خَيْرٌ وَأَمَّا مَنْ غَزَا فَخْرًا وَرِيَاءً وَسُمْعَةً وَعَصَى الْإِمَامَ وَأَفْسَدَ فِي الْأَرْضِ فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَرْجِعُ بِالْكَفَافِ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about the Night of Decree. He said, "It is in the last ten nights, on the seventh, or the fifth, or the third."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ سُئِلَ عَنْ لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ فَقَالَ «هِيَ فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ فِي السَّابِعَةِ أَوِ الْخَامِسَةِ أَوِ الثَّالِثَةِ»  

[Machine] "And Allah said? Two or three times, so I said Allah. He said, 'I have heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'My love and mercy are obligatory for those who love each other for my sake, sit together for my sake, visit each other for my sake, and spend on each other for my sake.'"  

وَقَالَ آللَّهِ؟ مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا فَقُلْتُ آللَّهِ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «وَجَبَتْ مَحَبَّتِي أَوْ رَحْمَتِي لِلَّذِينَ يَتَحَابُّونَ فِيَّ وَيَتَجَالَسُونَ فِيَّ وَيَتَزَاوَرُونَ وَيَتَبَاذَلُونَ فِيَّ»  

[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Seek refuge in Allah from desire that leads to disgrace, from desire without a goal, and from desire that has no end.'"  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «اسْتَعِيذُوا بِاللهِ مَنْ طَمَعٍ يَهْدِي إِلَى طَبْعٍ وَمِنْ طَمَعٍ إِلَى غَيْرِ مَطْمَعٍ وَمِنْ طَمَعٍ إِلَى حَيْثُ لَا طَمَعَ»  

[Machine] "That the Prophet ﷺ performed cupping while he was fasting."  

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ احْتَجَمَ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ»  

[Machine] I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , "Which deeds are most beloved to Allah Almighty?" He replied, "That you die while your tongue is moist with the remembrance of Allah."  

سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَيُّ الْأَعْمَالِ أَحَبُّ إِلَى اللهِ تَعَالَى؟ قَالَ «أَنْ تَمُوتَ وَلِسَانُكَ رَطْبٌ مِنْ ذِكْرِ اللهِ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "The people of Jannah will only regret an hour that passed by in which they did not remember Allah."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَيْسَ يَتَحَسَّرُ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ إِلَّا عَلَى سَاعَةٍ مَرَّتْ بِهِمْ لَمْ يَذْكُرُوا اللهَ فِيهَا»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Seek help in fulfilling your needs through secrecy, for every person with blessings is envied."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اسْتَعِينُوا عَلَى إِنْجَاحِ الْحَوَائِجِ بِالْكِتْمَانِ فَإِنَّ كُلَّ ذِي نِعْمَةٍ مَحْسُودٌ»  

[Machine] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said, "Do you know what Allah will say to the believers on the Day of Resurrection, and what will be the first thing they will say?" They said, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said, "Allah will say to the believers on the Day of Resurrection, 'What did you love the most in meeting Me?' They will say, 'O Lord, we loved Your forgiveness and Your mercy.' He will say, 'Then I have granted you My forgiveness and My mercy.'"  

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أَتَدْرُونَ مَا يَقُولُ اللهُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَأَوَّلَ مَا يَقُولُونَ؟» قَالُوا اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ يَقُولُ لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَا أَحْبَبْتُمْ لِقَائِي؟ قَالُوا نَعَمْ يَا رَبُّ رَجَوْنَا عَفْوَكَ وَمَغْفِرَتَكَ قَالَ فَقَدْ أَوْجَبْتُ لَكُمْ عَفْوي ومَغْفِرَتِي  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever eats or drinks or throws a hunt and forgets to mention Allah, let him eat from it as long as he did not intentionally abandon the remembrance."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ أَكَلَ أَوْ شَرِبَ أَوْ رَمَى صَيْدًا فَنَسِيَ أَنْ يَذْكُرَ اللهَ فَلْيَأْكُلْ مِنْهُ مَا لَمْ يَدَعِ التَّسْمِيَةَ مُتَعَمِّدًا»  

[Machine] I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about hoarding, what is it? He said, "When he hears about cheap prices, he becomes upset, and when he hears about high prices, he becomes happy. How evil is the hoarding servant! If Allah lowers prices, he becomes sad, and if Allah raises them, he becomes happy."  

سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الِاحْتِكَارِ مَا هُوَ؟ قَالَ «إِذَا سَمِعَ بِرُخْصٍ سَاءَهُ وَإِذَا سَمِعَ بِغَلَاءٍ فَرِحَ بِهِ بِئْسَ الْعَبْدُ الْمُحْتَكِرُ إِنْ أَرْخَصَ اللهُ الْأَسْعَارَ حَزِنَ وَإِنْ أَغْلَاهَا اللهُ فَرِحَ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If my Ummah (followers) knew what reward they have in Al-Hilbah, they would seek it even by giving away their weight in gold."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَوْ تَعْلَمُ أُمَّتِي مَا لَهَا فِي الْحِلْبَةِ لَاسْتَرَدُّوهَا وَلَوْ بِوَزْنِهَا ذَهَبًا»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever walks to the companion of innovation to honor him, he has indeed supported the destruction of Islam."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ مَشَى إِلَى صَاحِبِ بِدْعَةٍ لِيُوَقِّرَهُ فَقَدْ أَعَانَ عَلَى هَدْمِ الْإِسْلَامِ»  

[Machine] Abu Abdullah narrated that a man from Anbar reported from Thawr ibn Yazid, who reported from Khalid ibn Ma'dan, who reported from Muadh ibn Jabal who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about borrowing wine and bread. He said, "Glory be to Allah, it is only a matter of good character. Take the lesser and give the greater, and take the greater and give the lesser. The best of you is the one who is best in fulfilling his obligations."  

ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَنْبَارِ عَنْ ثَوْرِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ قَالَ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ اسْتِقْرَاضِ الْخَمِيرِ وَالْخُبْزِ فَقَالَ «سُبْحَانَ اللهِ إِنَّمَا هِيَ مِنْ مَكَارِمِ الْأَخْلَاقِ خُذِ الصَّغِيرَ وَأَعْطِ الْكَبِيرَ وَخُذِ الْكَبِيرَ وَأَعْطِ الصَّغِيرَ وَخَيْرُكُمْ أَحْسَنُكُمْ قَضَاءً»  

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: "O people, take Taqwa (fear of Allah) as a commodity, your sustenance will come to you without any merchandise or trade." Then he recited the verse (in Arabic): "And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him a way out and will provide for him from where he does not expect."  

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّخِذُوا تَقْوَى اللهِ تِجَارَةً يَأْتِيَكُمُ الرِّزْقُ بِلَا بِضَاعَةٍ وَلَا تِجَارَةٍ» ثُمَّ قَرَأَ {وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللهَ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ مَخْرَجًا وَيَرْزُقْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُ}  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ witnessed the ownership of a man from his companions, so he said to him, "May Allah bless you with goodness, harmony, a blessed bird, and abundance in sustenance. Strike him with a tambourine." So a tambourine was brought and struck with it. Then plates were presented, on which were fruits and sweets, which were scattered over him. People withdrew their hands, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Why do you not partake?" They said, "O Messenger of Allah, didn't you forbid us from plundering?" He said, "I have only forbidden you from plundering the spoils of war, but not from wedding gifts." He then danced with them and they danced with him.  

شَهِدَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِمْلَاكَ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ فَقَالَ لَهُ «عَلَى الْخَيْرِ وَالْأُلْفَةِ وَالطَّائِرِ الْمَيْمُونِ وَالسَّعَةِ فِي الرِّزْقِ بَارِكَ اللهُ لَكُمْ دَفِّفُوا عَلَى رَأْسِهِ» فَجِئَ بِدُفٍّ فَضُرِبَ بِهِ فَأَقْبَلَتِ الْأَطْبَاقُ وَعَلَيْهَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَسُكَّرٍ فَنُثِرَ عَلَيْهِ فَكَفَّ النَّاسُ أَيْدِيَهُمْ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَا لَكُمْ لَا تَنْتَهِبُونَ؟» قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَوَلَمْ تَنْهَ عَنِ النُّهْبَةِ؟ قَالَ «إِنَّمَا نَهَيْتُكُمْ عَنْ نُهْبَةِ الْعَسَاكِرِ فَأَمَّا الْعُرُسَاتِ فَلَا» قَالَ فَجَاذَبَهُمْ وَجَاذَبُوهُ  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ was at our house, displaying the horses. Uyaynah ibn Hisn entered upon him and said to the Prophet ﷺ , "You are more knowledgeable about horses than me, and I am more knowledgeable about men than you." The Prophet ﷺ then asked, "So which men are better?" Uyaynah replied, "Men who carry their swords on their shoulders, display their spears on their horse saddles, and wear cloaks from the people of Najd." The Prophet ﷺ said, "You have lied, the best of men are the men of Yemen. Faith from Yemen and the majority of the tribes in Paradise are Mudhij and Makhul. The meat of a camel is better than its rider, and a Hadrami is better than a Kinda." Allah has cursed the four kings: Jamdan, Mishrah, Makhwas, and Abda', and their sister Al-Amradah.  

كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي دَارِنَا يَعْرِضُ الْخَيْلَ قَالَ فَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ عُيَيْنَةُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ فَقَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنْتَ أَبْصَرُ بِالْخَيْلِ مِنِّي وَأَنَا أَبْصَرُ بِالرِّجَالِ مِنْكَ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «فَأَيُّ الرِّجَالِ خَيْرٌ؟» فَقَالَ رِجَالٌ يَحْمِلُونَ سُيُوفَهُمْ عَلَى عَوَاتِقِهِمْ وَيَعْرِضُونَ رِمَاحَهُمْ عَلَى مَناسِجِ خُيُولِهِمْ وَيَلْبَسُونَ الْبُرُودَ مِنْ أَهْلِ نَجْدٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ كَذَبْتَ خِيَارُ الرِّجَالِ رِجَالُ ذِي يَمَنٍ الْإِيمَانُ يَمَانٍ وَأَكْثَرُ قَبِيلَةٍ فِي الْجَنَّةِ مَذْحِجٌ وَمَأْكُولُ حِمْيَرَ خَيْرٌ مِنْ آكِلِهَا حَضْرَمَوْتٍ خَيْرٌ مِنْ كِنْدَةَ فَلَعَنَ اللهُ الْمُلُوكَ الْأَرْبَعَةَ جَمْدًا وَمِشْرَحًا وَمِخْوَسًا وَأَبْضَعًا وَأُخْتَهُمُ الْعَمَرَّدَةَ  

[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us to perform ablution as long as the water is not turbid or discolored."  

«أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّ نَتَوَضَّأَ مَا لَمْ يَأْجَنِ الْمَاءُ يَخْضَرُّ أَوْ يَصَفَرُّ»  

[Machine] And about the prayer in the same garment and what is permissible for a menstruating woman from her husband? Mu'adh asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about that. He said, "If the circumcised part has passed, then ghusl (ritual bathing) is obligatory. As for praying in the same garment, then wrap it around yourself. And as for what is permissible for a menstruating woman, then what is above the izar (lower garment) is permissible and refraining from that is better."  

وَعَنِ الصَّلَاةِ فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ وَعَمَّا يَحِلُّ لِلْحَائِضِ مِنْ زَوْجِهَا؟ فَقَالَ مُعَاذٌ سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ «إِذَا جَاوَزَ الْخِتَانُ الْخِتَانَ فَقَدْ وَجَبَ الْغُسْلُ وَأَمَّا الصَّلَاةُ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ فَتَوَشَّحْ بِهِ وَأَمَّا مَا يَحِلُّ مِنَ الْحَائِضِ فَإِنَّهُ يَحِلُّ مَنْهَا مَا فَوْقَ الْإِزَارِ واسْتِعْفَافٌ عَنْ ذَلِكَ أَفْضَلُ»  

[Machine] You asked me about what I asked the Messenger of Allah about, and he said, "It is mandatory to perform ghusl for janabah."  

سَأَلْتَنِي عَمَّا سَأَلْتُ عَنْهُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «يَجِبُ الْغُسْلُ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever pays the jizyah (tax) willingly, then he has been saved from what Muhammad ﷺ brought."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ عَقَدَ الْجِزْيَةَ فِي عُنُقِهِ فَقَدْ بَرِئَ مِمَّا جَاءَ بِهِ مُحَمَّدٌ» ﷺ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ answered, "Leave me, for I am not going back." So he left his path. When he went to the Prophet ﷺ the next day, he asked, "O Mu'adh, what did your captive do?" He replied, "I set him free." When the second night came, he felt his presence and took him, and he asked him again and swore he would not return him. He refused to set him free. When the third night came, he felt his presence again and took him, and he asked him again and swore he would not return him. So the captive refused, and said, "Leave me until I teach you a verse. If you recite it, no harm will come near that area." So he taught him Ayat al-Kursi (Verse of the Throne), and he released him. He went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and informed him of what had happened, and he said, "He told the truth, even though he is a liar."  

أَجِبْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ دَعْنِي فَإِنِّي لَا أَعُودُ فَخَلَّى سَبِيلَهُ فَلَمَّا غَدَا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «يَا مُعَاذُ مَا فَعَلَ أَسِيرُكَ؟» قَالَ سَرَّحْتُهُ فَلَمَّا كَانَتِ اللَّيْلَةُ الثَّانِيَةُ إِذَا هُوَ قَدْ حَسَّ بِهِ فَأَخَذَهُ فَطَلَبَ إِلَيْهِ أَيْضًا وَحَلَفَ أَنْ لَا يَعُودَ فَخَلَّى عَنْهُ فَلَمَّا كَانَتِ اللَّيْلَةُ الثَّالِثَةُ حَسَّ بِهِ وَأَخَذَهُ وَطَلَبَ إِلَيْهِ أَيْضًا وَحَلَفَ أَنْ لَا يَعُودَ فَأَبَى أَنْ يُسَرِّحَهُ فَقَالَ خَلِّ عَنِّي حَتَّى أُعَلِّمَكَ آيَةً إِذَا قَرَأْتَهَا لَمْ نَقْرَبْ ذَلِكَ الْمَوْضِعَ وَعَلَّمَهُ آيَةَ الْكُرْسِيِّ فَخَلَّى عَنْهُ وَغَدَا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَخْبَرَهُ بِمَا كَانَ فَقَالَ «صَدَقَ وَإِنْ كَانَ كَذُوبًا»  

[Machine] I heard Abu Shaybah saying, "Mu'adh used to walk with a man, and he picked up a stone from the road. He said, 'What is this?' The man replied, 'I have heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Whoever picks up a stone from the road, a good deed will be written for him. And whoever has good deeds will enter Paradise.'"  

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا شَيْبَةَ يَقُولُ كَانَ مُعَاذٌ يَمْشِي وَرَجُلٌ مَعَهُ فَرَفَعَ حَجَرًا مِنَ الطَّرِيقِ فَقَالَ مَا هَذَا؟ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ رَفَعَ حَجَرًا مِنَ الطَّرِيقِ كُتِبَتْ لَهُ حَسَنَةٌ وَمَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ حَسَنَةٌ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ»  

[Machine] I approached the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ standing and praying. He continued to stand until morning, and then he prostrated. I thought that his soul had been taken during that prostration. He looked at me and said, "O Mu'adh, did you see?" I said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah, I saw you prostrating and I thought that your soul had been taken." He said, "Do you know why?" I said, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He said, "I prayed what my Lord has prescribed for me, and my Lord came to me and said, 'O Muhammad, what will you do with your ummah (nation)?' I said, 'My Lord, You know best.' He repeated it to me three or four times, and in the end, He said, 'I will not cause you distress concerning your ummah.' Then I prostrated to my Lord, thanking Him, for my Lord is grateful and loves those who are grateful."  

أَقْبَلْتُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ قَائِمٌ يُصَلِّي فَلَمْ يَزَلْ قَائِمًا حَتَّى أَصْبَحَ فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَةً ظَنَنْتُ أَنَّ نَفْسَهُ قُبِضَتْ فِيهَا فَنَظَرَ إِلَيَّ فَقَالَ «يَا مُعَاذُ رَأَيْتَ؟» فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ نَعَمْ رَأَيْتُكَ سَجَدْتَ سَجْدَةً ظَنَنْتُ أَنَّ نَفْسَكَ قَدْ قُبِضَتْ فَقَالَ «تَدْرِي لِمَ ذَاكَ؟» قُلْتُ اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ قَالَ إِنِّي صَلَّيْتُ مَا كَتَبَ لِي رَبِّي وأَتَانِي رَبِّي فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ مَا أَفْعَلُ بِأُمَّتِكَ؟ قُلْتُ رَبِّي أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ فَأَعَادَهَا عَلَيَّ ثَلَاثًا أَوْ أَرْبَعًا فَقَالَ لِي فِي آخِرِهَا مَا أَفْعَلُ بِأُمَّتِكَ؟ قُلْتُ أَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ يَا رَبِّ قَالَ إِنِّي لَا أُحْزِنُكَ فِي أُمَّتِكَ فَسَجَدَتُّ لِرَبِّي وَرَبُّكَ شَاكِرٌ يُحِبُّ الشَّاكِرِينَ  

[Machine] He said: O Messenger of Allah, inform me of an action that will enter its doer into Paradise. He replied: "How excellent, how excellent! Indeed, you have asked about something great, yet it is easy for the one who Allah makes it easy for. Worship Allah alone, without associating partners with Him, establish the obligatory prayers, give the obligatory charity, fast in Ramadan, and perform Hajj to the House. And shall I not inform you of the pillar of all this? Its top, its cornerstone, and its peak?" He said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." The Prophet ﷺ then said: "The pillar of all this is testifying that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah alone, the top of it is Jihad in the cause of Allah, and the peak of it is the prayer at its proper time." Then he said: "Shall I not inform you of the doors of goodness? Fasting is a shield, charity extinguishes sins as water extinguishes fire, and the standing of a person in prayer during the night." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited the verse: {Their sides draw away from their beds to invoke their Lord in fear and hope. And they spend (in Allah's Cause) out of what We have bestowed on them} [Quran 32:16]. Then he said: "Shall I not tell you of the controlling factor of all that?" He shook his own tongue and said: "Restrain this." Mu'adh said: "O Messenger of Allah, will we really be held accountable for what we say with our tongues?" He ﷺ said: "May your mother lose you, O Mu'adh! People will be thrown into the Hellfire only on their faces - or he said, on their noses - because of the harvests of their tongues."

أَنَّهُ قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَخْبَرَنِي بِعَمَلٍ يُدْخِلُ صَاحِبَهُ الْجَنَّةَ قَالَ بَخٍ بَخٍ لَقَدْ سَأَلْتَ عَنْ كَبِيرٍ وَإِنَّهُ لَيَسِيرٌ عَلَى مَنْ يَسَّرَهُ اللهُ تَعْبُدُ اللهَ لَا تُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا وَتُقِيمُ الصَّلَاةَ الْمَكْتُوبَةَ وَتُؤَدِّي الزَّكَاةَ الْمَفْرُوضَةَ وَتَصُومُ رَمَضَانَ وَتَحُجُّ الْبَيْتَ وَسَأُنَبِّئُكَ بِرَأْسِ هَذَا الْأَمْرِ وَعَمُودِهِ وَذُرْوَةِ سَنَامِهِ رَأْسُ هَذَا الْأَمْرِ شَهَادَةُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَعَمُودُهُ وَذُرْوَةُ سَنَامِهِ الْجِهَادُ وَسَأُنَبِّئُكَ بِأَبْوَابِ الْخَيْرِ الصَّوْمُ جُنَّةٌ وَالصَّدَقَةُ تُطْفِئُ الْخَطِيئَةَ كَمَا يُطْفِئُ الْمَاءُ النَّارَ وَقِيَامُ الْعَبْدِ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ وَقَرَأَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ {تَتَجَافَى جُنُوبُهُمْ عَنِ الْمَضَاجِعِ} الْآيَةَ وَسَأُنَبِّئُكَ بِأَمْلَكِ مِنْ ذَاكَ كُلَّهِ وَهَزَّ رَاحِلَتَهُ وَدَنَوْتُ مِنَ النَّاسِ فَدَنَوْتُ مِنْهُ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا الَّذِي أَمْلَكُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ كُلَّهِ؟ فَأَوْمَأَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى لِسَانِهِ قُلْتُ اللِّسَانُ؟ كَالْمُتَهَاونِ بِهِ فَقَالَ «ثَكِلَتْكَ أُمُّكَ يَا مُعَاذُ بْنَ جَبَلٍ وَهَلْ يَكُبُّ النَّاسَ فِي نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ إِلَّا حَصَائِدُ أَلْسِنَتِهِمْ؟»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No warning can benefit against destiny, but supplication benefits from what has been revealed and what has not yet been revealed. So, O servants of Allah, you should rely on supplication."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَنْ يَنْفَعَ حَذَّرٌ مِنْ قَدَرٍ وَلَكِنِ الدُّعَاءُ يَنْفَعُ مِمَّا نَزَلَ وَمِمَّا لَمْ يَنْزِلْ فَعَلَيْكُمْ بِالدُّعَاءِ عِبَادَ اللهِ»  

"If there comes to you a man who is respected among his own people, then honor him." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3712)  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِذَا أَتَاكُمْ كَرِيمُ قَوْمٍ فَأَكْرِمُوهُ»  

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ , he said, "Whoever fights in the cause of Allah and perseveres till the end, he will be rewarded Paradise as recompense for every camel that produces milk for whoever milks it."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ قَاتَلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فُوَاقَ نَاقَةٍ وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ» وَفُوَاقُ نَاقَةٍ قَدْرُ مَا تَدِرُّ لَبَنَهَا لِمَنْ حَلَبَهَا  

[Machine] He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever fights in the cause of Allah as a Muslim man, surpassing a camel's hump, then Paradise is obligatory for him. And whoever asks Allah for martyrdom sincerely from his heart, then he dies or is killed, he will have the reward of a martyr. And if he is injured in the cause of Allah or faces a calamity, then on the Day of Resurrection, its color will be like saffron and its smell like musk. And whoever is injured in the cause of Allah, he will have the mark of martyrs on him."  

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ قَاتَلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ مِنْ رَجُلٍ مُسْلِمٍ فُوَاقَ نَاقَةٍ فَقَدْ وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ وَمَنْ سَأَلَ اللهَ الْقَتْلَ مِنْ عِنْدِ نَفْسِهِ صَادِقًا ثُمَّ مَاتَ أَوْ قُتِلَ فَلَهُ أَجْرُ شَهِيدٍ وَإِنْ جُرِحَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَوْ نُكِبَ نَكْبَةً فَإِنَّهَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لَوْنُهَا كَالزَّعْفَرَانِ وَرِيحُهَا كَالْمِسْكِ وَمَنْ جُرِحَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَعَلَيْهِ طَابَعُ الشُّهَدَاءِ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever asks Allah for martyrdom sincerely and then dies or is killed, he will have the reward of a martyr. And whoever is wounded in the cause of Allah or suffers a calamity, it will come on the Day of Judgment with its color like saffron and its fragrance like musk. And whoever is wounded in the cause of Allah, he will have the seal of the martyrs upon him."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ سَأَلَ اللهَ الْقَتْلَ مِنْ عِنْدِ نَفْسِهِ صَادِقًا ثُمَّ مَاتَ أَوْ قُتِلَ فَلَهُ أَجْرُ شَهِيدٍ وَمَنْ جُرِحَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَوْ نُكِبَ نَكْبَةً فَإِنَّهَا تَجِيءُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لَوْنُهَا كَالزَّعْفَرَانِ وَرِيحُهَا كَالْمِسْكِ وَمَنْ جُرِحَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فَعَلَيْهِ طَابَعُ الشُّهَدَاءِ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever fights in the cause of Allah, the reward of Paradise is guaranteed for him even if his camel is lost, and whoever sincerely asks for death and then dies or is killed, he will be considered a martyr, and whoever is wounded in the cause of Allah or suffers a calamity, it will come on the Day of Resurrection as red as saffron, and its fragrance will be like musk."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ قَاتَلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فُوَاقَ نَاقَةٍ وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ وَمَنْ سَأَلَ الْقَتْلَ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ صَادِقًا ثُمَّ مَاتَ أَوْ قُتِلَ كَانَ لَهُ أَجْرُ شَهِيدٍ وَمَنْ جُرِحَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَوْ نُكِبَ نَكْبَةً فَإِنَّهَا تَجِيءُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ كَأَغْزَرِ مَا كَانَتْ لَوْنُهَا كَالزَّعْفَرَانِ وَرِيحُهَا كَالْمِسْكِ»  

[Machine] He heard the messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying, "Whoever fights in the cause of Allah, the value of a camel's hump, Paradise is guaranteed for him. And whoever sincerely asks Allah for martyrdom in the cause of Allah, Paradise is guaranteed for him. And whoever is injured or suffering affliction in the cause of Allah, it will come to him on the Day of Resurrection with its color like saffron and its fragrance like musk. And whoever goes out with a wound in the cause of Allah, he will be stamped with the seal of the martyrs."  

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ قَاتَلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فُوَاقَ نَاقَةٍ وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ وَمَنْ سَأَلَ اللهَ الشَّهَادَةَ صَادِقًا مِنْ قَلْبِهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ وَمَنْ جُرِحَ جُرْحًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ أَوْ نُكِبَ نَكْبَةً فَإِنَّهَا تَجِيءُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِنْ أَغْزَرِ مَا كَانَتْ لَوْنُهَا كَالزَّعْفَرَانِ وَرِيحُهَا كَالْمِسْكِ وَمَنْ خَرَجَ بِهِ جِرَاحٌ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ طُبِعَ عَلَيْهِ بِطَابَعِ الشُّهَدَاءِ»  

[Machine] "They have the final word, for I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , 'Which deeds are most beloved to Allah?' He replied, 'That your tongue be moist with the remembrance of Allah until you die.'"  

لَهُمْ إِنَّ آخِرَ كَلَامٍ فَارَقْتُ عَلَيْهِ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ قُلْتُ أَيُّ الْأَعْمَالِ أَحَبُّ إِلَى اللهِ؟ قَالَ «أَنْ تَمُوتَ وَلِسَانُكَ رَطْبٌ مِنْ ذِكْرِ اللهِ»  

[Machine] That the Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no soul that dies, and it has with Allah the weight of an ant's worth of good, except that it is covered in clay."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا مِنْ نَفْسٍ تَمُوتُ وَلَهَا عِنْدَ اللهِ مِثْقَالُ نَمْلَةٍ مِنْ خَيْرٍ إِلَّا طُيِّنَ عَلَيْهِ طِينًا»  

[Machine] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who said: "It is not permissible for a woman to ask for permission in her husband's house while he dislikes it, nor should she leave the house while he dislikes it, nor should she obey anyone in her husband's house, nor should she show a harsh attitude towards him, nor should she abstain from her husband's bed, nor should she strike him, even if he is more unjust than her, until she pleases him. If he is pleased with her and accepts her, then she is to him and she has done well. Allah will accept her excuse and sweeten her face, and there is no sin on her. But if he refuses to be pleased with her, then she has fulfilled her excuse."  

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرَأَةٍ أَنْ تَأْذَنَ فِي بَيْتِ زَوْجِهَا وَهُوَ كَارِهٌ وَلَا تَخْرُجَ وَهُوَ كَارِهٌ وَلَا تُطِيعَ فِيهِ أَحَدًا وَلَا تَخْشُنَ بِصَدْرِهِ وَلَا تَعْتَزِلَ فِرَاشَهُ وَلَا تَضْرِبَهُ وَإِنْ كَانَ هُوَ أَظْلَمَ مِنْهَا حَتَّى تُرْضِيَهُ فَإِنْ هُوَ رَضِيَ وَقَبِلَ مِنْهَا فَبِهَا وَنعِمَتْ قَبِلَ اللهُ عُذْرَهَا وَأَمْلَحَ وَجْهِهَا وَلَا إِثْمَ عَلَيْهَا وَإِنْ هُوَ أَبَى أَنْ يَرْضَى عَنْهَا فَقَدْ أَبَلَغَتْ عُذْرَهَا»  

[Machine] I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , "Which actions are most beloved to Allah?" He replied, "To die with your tongue moist with the remembrance of Allah."  

سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَيُّ الْأَعْمَالِ أَحَبُّ إِلَى اللهِ؟ قَالَ «أَنْ تَمُوتَ وَلِسَانُكَ رَطْبٌ مِنْ ذِكْرِ اللهِ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The destruction of Jerusalem is the beginning of Yathrib's destruction, and the destruction of Yathrib is the emergence of the great battle, and the emergence of the great battle is the conquest of Constantinople, and the conquest of Constantinople is the emergence of the Dajjal."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «عُمْرَانُ بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ خَرَابُ يَثْرِبَ وَخَرَابُ يَثْرِبَ خُرُوجُ الْمَلْحَمَةِ وَخُرُوجُ الْمَلْحَمَةِ فَتْحُ الْقُسْطَنْطِينِيَّةِ وَفَتْحُ الْقُسْطَنْطِينِيَّةَ خُرُوجُ الدَّجَّالِ»  

from the Prophet ﷺ who said, "Allah ˹audits˺ His creation on the middle night of ˹the month of˺ Shaʿbān and He forgives all of His creation, except for the one who associates partners with Him or one filled with malice."  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «يَطَّلِعُ اللهُ ﷻ عَلَى خَلْقِهِ لَيْلَةَ النِّصْفِ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ فَيَغْفِرُ لِجَمِيعِ خَلْقِهِ إِلَّا لِمُشْرِكٍ أَوْ مُشَاحِنٍ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ detained us for Fajr prayer until the sun was about to rise. When he prayed Fajr with us, he said, "I prayed all night and the night was not fully completed for me, and I laid down in the Mosque. Then my Lord came to me in the finest form and said, 'O Muhammad! Do you know what the highest assembly disputes about?' I said, 'No, O Lord.' He said it three times, and I responded three times. Then He placed His hand between my shoulders, and I felt the coolness of His hand between my chest. Everything was unveiled to me, and I recognized it. I asked about the degrees and expiations. He asked, 'What are the degrees?' I said, 'Feeding the needy, spreading peace, prayer, while people are asleep.' He said, 'You have spoken the truth.' He asked, 'What are the expiations?' I said, 'Pouring water for ablution onto the joints, waiting for the next prayer after performing one, and taking steps to the congregational prayers.' He said, 'You have spoken the truth.' He said, 'Ask, O Muhammad.' I said, 'O Allah! I ask You for performing righteous deeds, abstaining from sins, and love for the poor. And I ask You for forgiveness and mercy. And when You intend to test Your slaves, take me to You while I am still steadfast. O Allah! I ask You for Your love, and the love of those who love You, and the love for deeds that will draw me closer to Your love.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Teach them and instruct them, for they are true.'"  

احْتَبَسَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَاةَ الْغَدَاةِ حَتَّى كَادَتِ الشَّمْسُ تَطْلُعُ فَلَمَّا صَلَّى بِنَا الْغَدَاةَ قَالَ صَلَّيْتُ اللَّيْلَةَ مَا قُضِيَ لِي وَوَضَعْتُ جَنْبِي فِي الْمَسْجِدِ فَأَتَانِي رَبِّي فِي أَحْسَنِ صُورَةٍ فَقَالَ يَا مُحَمَّدُ أَتَدْرِي فِيمَ يَخْتَصِمُ الْمَلَأُ الْأَعْلَى؟ فَقُلْتُ لَا يَا رَبِّ قَالَهَا ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ قُلْتُ لَا يَا رَبِّ فَوَضَعَ يَدَهُ بَيْنَ كَتِفَيَّ فَوَجَدْتُ بَرْدَهَا بَيْنَ ثَدْيَيَّ فَتَجَلَّى لِي كُلُّ شَيْءٍ وَعَرَفْتُهُ فَقُلْتُ فِي الدَّرَجَاتِ وَالْكَفَّارَاتِ قَالَ فَمَا الدَّرَجَاتُ؟ قُلْتُ إِطْعَامُ الطَّعَامِ وَإِفْشَاءُ السَّلَامِ وَالصَّلَاةُ وَالنَّاسُ نِيَامٌ قَالَ صَدَقْتَ قَالَ فَمَا الْكَفَّارَاتُ؟ قُلْتُ إِسْبَاغُ الْوُضُوءِ فِي السَّبَراتِ وَانْتِظَارُ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ وَنَقْلُ الْأَقْدَامِ إِلَى الْجُمُعَاتِ قَالَ صَدَقْتَ قَالَ سَلْ يَا مُحَمَّدُ قَالَ قُلْتُ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ فِعْلَ الْخَيْرَاتِ وَتَرْكَ الْمُنْكَرَاتِ وَحُبَّ الْمَسَاكِينِ وَأَنْ تَغْفِرَ لِي وَتَرْحَمَنِي وَإِذَا أَرَدْتَ بَيْنَ عِبَادِكَ فِتْنَةً فَاقْبِضْنِي إِلَيْكَ وَأَنَا غَيْرُ مَفْتُونٍ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ حُبَّكَ وَحُبَّ مَنْ أَحَبَّكَ وَحُبَّ عَمَلٍ يُقَرِّبُنِي إِلَى حُبِّكَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «تُعَلِّمُوهُنَّ وَادْرُسُوهُنَّ فَإِنَّهُنَّ حَقٌّ»  

The Prophet ﷺ said: I guarantee a house in the surroundings of Paradise for a man who avoids quarrelling even if he were in the right, a house in the middle of Paradise for a man who avoids lying even if he were joking, and a house in the upper part of Paradise for a man who made his character good. قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَنَا زَعِيمُ بِبَيْتٍ فِي رَبَضِ الْجَنَّةِ وَبَيْتٍ فِي وَسَطِ الْجَنَّةِ وَبَيْتٍ فِي أَعْلَى الْجَنَّةِ لِمَنْ تَرَكَ الْمِرَاءَ وَإِنْ كَانَ مُحِقًّا وَتَرَكَ الْكَذِبَ وَإِنْ كَانَ مَازِحًا وَحَسُنَ خُلُقُهُ»  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ took my hand and said, "Verily, I love you, O Mu'adh." I replied, "By Allah, I love you too, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "I advise you to say after every prayer: 'O Allah, assist me in remembering You, in thanking You, and in worshiping You well.'"  

أَخَذَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِيَدِي فَقَالَ «إِنِّي لَأُحِبُّكَ يَا مُعَاذُ» فَقَالَ قُلْتُ وَأَنَا وَاللهِ أُحِبُّكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ أُوصِيكَ بِكَلِمَاتٍ تَقُولُهُنَّ فِي دُبُرِ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ رَبِّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever testifies that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, with certainty in his heart, will enter Paradise."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ شَهِدَ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ يَرْجِعُ ذَاكُمْ إِلَى قَلْبٍ مُوقِنٍ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed after he arrived in Medina for sixteen months, then Allah revealed a verse commanding him to turn his face towards the Kaaba. It said: "We have certainly seen the turning of your face, [O Muhammad], toward the heaven."  

صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَعْدَ أَنْ قَدِمَ الْمَدِينَةَ إِلَى بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ سِتَّةَ عَشَرَ شَهْرًا ثُمَّ أَنْزَلَ اللهُ آيَةً أَمَرَهُ بِالتَّحَوُّلِ إِلَى الْكَعْبَةِ فَقَالَ {قَدْ نَرَى تَقَلُّبَ وَجْهِكَ فِي السَّمَاءِ} الْآيَةَ  

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: If anyone's last words are "There is no god but Allah" he will enter Paradise. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3116)  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ كَانَ آخِرُ كَلَامِهِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not constantly stare at those with facial deformities."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الْمُجَذَّمِينَ لَا تُدِيمُوا النَّظَرَ إِلَيْهِمْ»
