[Machine] "He accompanied a group of polytheists and found them negligent, so he killed them and took their wealth. Then he brought it to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , who disapproved of his actions and refused to accept it."  

«أَنَّهُ صَحِبَ قَوْمًا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ فَوَجَدَ مِنْهُمْ غَفْلَةً فَقَتَلَهُمْ وَأَخَذَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فَجَاءَ بِهَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَكَرِهَ مَا صَنَعَ وَأَبَى أَنْ يَقْبَلَهَا»  

[Machine] Al-Mughira said, "I said to Umar, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ruled in favor of the plaintiff at the earliest stage of a dispute.' Umar replied, 'If you are truthful, bring someone who witnessed this with you.' Muhammad ibn Muslima then said, 'I bear witness that the Prophet ﷺ ruled in favor of a woman in the earliest stage of a dispute.' Umar ruled accordingly."  

الْمُغِيرَةُ فَقُلْتُ لِعُمَرَ «قَضَى فِيهِ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بِالْغُرَّةِ» قَالَ عُمَرُ إِنْ كُنْتَ صَادِقًا فَائْتِنِي بِمَنْ يَعْلَمُ هَذَا مَعَكَ فَقَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ «شَهِدْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَضَى فِي إِمْلَاصِ الْمَرْأَةِ بِالْغُرَّةِ» فَقَضَى بِهِ عُمَرُ ؓ  

[Machine] "He accompanied a group of polytheists, and found them in a state of neglect, so he killed them and took their belongings. Then he brought them to the Prophet, ﷺ , but the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , refused to accept them."  

«أَنَّهُ صَحِبَ قَوْمًا مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ فَوَجَدَ مِنْهُمْ غَفَلَةً فَقَتَلَهُمْ وَأَخَذَ أَمْوَالَهَمْ فَجَاءَ بِهَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَأَبَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَقْبَلَهَا»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ arose among us and informed us about what will happen in his nation until the Day of Judgment, and those who heard it remembered it and those who forgot it forgot it.  

«قَامَ فِينَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَقَامًا فَأَخْبَرَنَا بِمَا يَكُونُ فِي أُمَّتِهِ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ وَعَاهُ مَنْ وَعَاهُ وَنَسِيَهُ مَنْ نَسِيَهُ»  

[Machine] He heard Al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah saying, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went on a journey and stopped at a place. I made my way towards him with a pitcher of water. When he saw me, he poured the water on himself, performed ablution, and wiped over his khuffs (leather socks) before praying the morning prayer."  

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ الْمُغِيرَةَ بْنَ شُعْبَةَ يَقُولُ «خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي سَفَرٍ فَنَزَلَ مَنْزِلًا فَتَبَرَّزَ فَتَبِعْتُهُ بِإِدَاوَةٍ فَلَمَّا أَقْبَلَ تَلَقَّيْتُهُ فَصَبَبْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَتَوَضَّأَ وَعَلَيْهِ خُفَّانِ فَمَسَحَ عَلَيْهِمَا ثُمَّ صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ»  

[Machine] "The Prophet ﷺ performed ablution and wiped over his socks."  

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was on a journey, and Al-Mughira was on that journey. He said, "So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went one day for his need, and I followed his trail with a container of water. I cleared the path for him, so he performed ablution and wiped over his socks."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ فِي سَفَرٍ وَالْمُغِيرَةُ كَانَ فِي ذَلِكَ السَّفَرِ قَالَ فَذَهَبَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَوْمًا لِحَاجَتِهِ فَاتَّبَعْتُ أَثَرَهُ بِإِدَاوَةِ مَاءٍ فَنَفَرْتُ لَهُ الطَّرِيقَ فَتَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ  

[Machine] The prophet ﷺ performed ablution and wiped over his socks.  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said that Allah commanded a tree to grow in front of him during the night of the cave. Allah also commanded a spider to weave its web in front of him. Allah commanded two wild doves to stand at the mouth of the cave. Then, two young men from the Quraysh approached the Prophet ﷺ , each carrying a staff, a rein, and a sword. When they were about forty arm-lengths away from the Prophet ﷺ , some of them hurried to look inside the cave. They saw the two doves at the mouth of the cave. They returned to the Prophet's companions and asked him why he did not look inside the cave. He replied that he saw two doves at the mouth of the cave and understood that no one was inside. The Prophet ﷺ heard what they said and understood that Allah had protected him through the doves. He prayed for them, named them, and prescribed their reward. They were set free in the sanctuary.  

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ أَمَرَ اللهُ شَجَرَةً لَيْلَةَ الْغَارِ فَنَبَتَتْ فِي وَجْهِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَأَمَرَ اللهُ الْعَنْكَبُوتَ فَنَسَجَتْ فِي وَجْهِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَأَمَرَ حَمَامَتَيْنِ وَحْشِيَّتَيْنِ فَوَقَفتَا بِفَمِ الْغَارِ وَأَقْبَلَ فَتَيَانُ قُرَيْشٍ مِنْ كُلِّ بَطْنٍ رَجُلٌ بِعِصِيِّهِمْ وهَرَاوَاتِهِمْ وَسُيُوفِهِمْ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانُوا مِنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَدْرَ أَرْبَعِينَ ذِرَاعًا تَعَجَّلَ بَعْضُهُمْ يَنْظُرُ فِي الْغَارِ فَرَأَى حَمَامَتَيْنِ بِفَمِ الْغَارِ فَرَجَعَ إِلَى أَصْحَابِهِ فَقَالُوا لَهُ مَا لَكَ لَمْ تَنْظُرْ فِي الْغَارِ؟ فَقَالَ رَأَيْتُ حَمَامَتَيْنِ بِفَمِ الْغَارِ فَعَرَفْتُ أَنْ لَيْسَ فِيهِ أَحَدٌ فَسَمِعَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَا قَالَ فَعَرَفَ أَنَّ اللهَ قَدْ دَرَأَ عَنْهُ بِهِمَا فَدَعَا لَهُنَّ وَسَمَّى عَلَيْهِنِّ وَفَرَضَ جَزَاءَهُنَّ وَأُقْرِرْنَ فِي الْحَرَمِ  

[Machine] I sought permission from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ between Mecca and Medina. He said, "Come to me tonight." I did not prioritize anything over him until morning came.  

اسْتَأْذَنْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بَيْنَ مَكَّةَ وَالْمَدِينَةِ قَالَ «فَائْتِنِي اللَّيْلَةَ حَرَدَى» وَلَمْ أُوثِرْ عَلَيْهِ شَيْئًا حَتَّى أَصْبَحْتُ  

I heard the Prophet ﷺ saying, "Whoever (intentionally) ascribes to me what I have not said then (surely) let him occupy his seat in Hell-fire." (Using translation from Bukhārī 109)  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ قَالَ عَلَيَّ مَا لَمْ أَقُلْ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ»  

[Machine] About what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said when he was present in Tabuk, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in the Battle of Tabuk, so he wiped over his socks.  

عَنْ مَا حَضَر مِنْ رَسُولِ الله ﷺ بِتَبُوكَ فَقَالَ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ فَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ  

[Machine] Al-Qa'nabi narrated that Sulaiman ibn Bilal narrated from Yahya ibn Sa'id, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, from Ma'mar ibn Abdullah ibn Nudlah, who said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever hoards is mistaken."  

ثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ قَالَا ثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلَالٍ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ مَعْمَرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نَضْلَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنِ احْتَكَرَ فَهُوَ خَاطِئٌ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Only a sinner hoards." Muhammad said, "And Sa'id used to hoard, and Ma'mar used to hoard."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَحْتَكِرْ إِلَّا خَاطِئٌ» قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ وَكَانَ سَعِيدٌ يَحْتَكِرُ وَكَانَ مَعْمَرٌ يَحْتَكِرُ  

No one hoards but the sinner. (Using translation from Muslim 1605b)  

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَحْتَكِرُ إِلَّا خَاطِئٌ»

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَحْتَكِرُ إِلَّا خَاطِئٌ» فَقُلْتُ لِسَعِيدٍ إِنَّكَ تَحْتَكِرُ قَالَ إِنَّ مَعْمَرًا كَانَ يَحْتَكِرُ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَحْتَكِرُ إِلَّا خَاطِئٌ»

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا يَحْتَكِرُ إِلَّا خَاطِئٌ»  

"No one hoards but a sinner."' (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2154)  

قال رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَحْتَكِرُ إِلَّا خَاطِئٌ»  

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ sent me to announce to the people in Mina: "Indeed, the days of Tashreeq are days of eating and drinking."  

بَعَثَنِي النَّبِيُّ ﷺ أُنَادِي فِي النَّاسِ بِمِنًى «إِنَّ أَيَّامَ التَّشْرِيقِ أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ»  

[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: Food is like food and something similar to something similar.  

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ الطَّعَامُ بِالطَّعَامِ مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ  

[Machine] Buy it and then trade it for barley. So the boy went and took a measure and some extra of it. When Ma'mar came, he informed him about it, so Ma'mar said to him, "Why did you do this? Go and return it, do not take anything except the same in return, for I used to hear the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, ‘Food is equal to its like.’ And at that time our food was barley, so it was said that it was not equal to it, so he (the Prophet ﷺ) said, ‘I fear that it might become close to riba.’"  

بِعْهُ ثُمَّ اشْتَرِ بِهِ شَعِيرًا فَذَهَبَ الْغُلَامُ فَأَخَذَ صَاعًا وَزِيَادَةَ بَعْضِ صَاعٍ فَلَمَّا جَاءَ مَعْمَرٌ خَبَّرَهُ بِذَلِكَ فَقَالَ مَعْمَرٌ لِمَ فَعَلْتَ؟ انْطَلِقْ فَرُدَّهُ لَا تَأْخُذَنَّ إِلَّا مِثْلاً بِمِثْلٍ فَإِنِّي كُنْتُ أَسْمَعُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «الطَّعَامُ مِثْلًا بِمِثْلٍ» وَكَانَ طَعَامَنَا يَوْمَئِذٍ الشَّعِيرُ فَقِيلَ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ مِثْلَهُ فَقَالَ إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ يُضَارِعَ الرِّبَا  

[Machine] I heard Ma'mar say: "I used to travel to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and the Prophet ﷺ said: 'O Ma'mar'." He said: "I found disturbance in my Ansa'i (saddle bag)." So, I said: "O Messenger of Allah, I have tightened it like I used to, but someone wanted to replace it with me." He said: "Indeed, I did not do that." When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished his Hajj, he instructed me to take the saddle bag and I polished it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "O Ma'mar, do you see the fat in the ear of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the Mus'a (a kind of whip) in your hand?" I said: "O Messenger of Allah, I consider this as a favor and grace upon me." He said: "Yes." He said: "So, add to that."  

سَمِعْتُ مَعْمَرًا يَقُولُ كُنْتُ أَرْحَلُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «يَا مَعْمَرُ» قَالَ «وَجَدْتُ اللَّيْلَةَ فِي أَنْسَاعِي اضْطِرَابًا» فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ لَقَدْ شَدَدْتُهَا كَمَا كُنْتُ أَشُدُّهَا وَلَكِنْ أَرَادَ مَنْ يَنْفِسُ عَلَيَّ ذَلِكَ أَنْ يَسْتَبْدِلَ بِي فَقَالَ «أَمَا إِنِّي غَيْرُ فَاعِلٍ ذَلِكَ» فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِن حَجَّهِ أَمَرَنِي فَأَخَذْتُ الْمُوسَى فَصَقَلْتُهَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يَا مَعْمَرُ أَمْكَنَكَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِن شَحْمَةِ أُذُنِهِ وَفِي يَدِكَ الْمُوسَى» فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنِّي أَرَى ذَلِك مَنًَّا عَلَيَّ وَفَضْلًا قَالَ «أَجَلْ» قَالَ فَزِدْ ذَلِكَ
