[Machine] He heard Al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah saying, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went on a journey and stopped at a place. I made my way towards him with a pitcher of water. When he saw me, he poured the water on himself, performed ablution, and wiped over his khuffs (leather socks) before praying the morning prayer."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ الْمُغِيرَةَ بْنَ شُعْبَةَ يَقُولُ «خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي سَفَرٍ فَنَزَلَ مَنْزِلًا فَتَبَرَّزَ فَتَبِعْتُهُ بِإِدَاوَةٍ فَلَمَّا أَقْبَلَ تَلَقَّيْتُهُ فَصَبَبْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَتَوَضَّأَ وَعَلَيْهِ خُفَّانِ فَمَسَحَ عَلَيْهِمَا ثُمَّ صَلَّى الصُّبْحَ»
