[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , used to rinse his mouth with water and then he would rinse his nose by putting water in it and blowing it out. Abdel Wahid bin Qais reported this, and there was disagreement about his reliability. Yahya bin Ma'een and his father Yahya bin Saeed al-Qattan considered him trustworthy, as did Muhammad bin Ismail al-Bukhari. Abu Bakr al-Faqih reported to us that Abu al-Hasan al-Daraqutni said that Ibn Abi Hatim reported from his father that Al-Walid reported from Al-Awza'i who reported from Abdel Wahid who reported from Yazid al-Raqashi and Qatadah, who said: The Prophet, ﷺ , was sending and he was the most similar to the correct opinion. Abu al-Hasan also reported it, and Abu al-Mughira reported it from Al-Awza'i in a connected chain to Ibn Umar, which is the correct opinion. We were informed by Abu Bakr that Abu al-Hasan reported to us, that Ismail bin Muhammad al-Saffar reported to us, that Ibrahim bin Hanee reported to us, that Abu al-Mughira reported to us, that Al-Awza'i narrated to us, that Abdel Wahid bin Qais narrated to us, from Yazid al-Raqashi, who reported from the Prophet, ﷺ , something similar to this.  

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ عَرَكَ عَارِضَيْهِ بَعْضَ الْعَرْكِ ثُمَّ شَبَّكَ لِحْيَتَهُ بِأَصَابِعِهِ مِنْ تَحْتِهَا تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ قَيْسٍ وَاخْتَلَفُوا فِي عَدَالَتِهِ فَوَثَّقَهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ وَأَبَاهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْبُخَارِيُّ وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْفَقِيهُ أَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي حَاتِمٍ قَالَ أَبِي رَوَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ الْوَلِيدُ عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَاحِدِ عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرَّقَاشِيِّ وَقَتَادَةَ قَالَا كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مُرْسَلًا وَهُوَ أَشْبَهُ بِالصَّوَابِ قَالَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ وَرَوَاهُ أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ مَوْقُوفًا عَلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ وَهُوَ الصَّوَابُ 250 أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ أنا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّفَّارُ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ هَانِئٍ ثنا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ ثنا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ قَيْسٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرَّقَاشِيِّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ نَحْوَهُ  

[Machine] That Ibn Umar, when he performed ablution, used to rub his arms and sometimes comb his beard with his fingers and sometimes leave it.  

أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ إِذَا تَوَضَّأَ يَعْرُكُ عَارِضَيْهِ وَيُشَبِّكُ لِحْيَتَهُ بِأَصَابِعِهِ أَحْيَانًا وَيَتْرُكُ أَحْيَانًا  

[Machine] Ibn Umar used to comb his hair and intertwine his beard with his fingers sometimes, and he used to leave it like that, he said.  

أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ يَعْرُكُ عَارِضَيْهِ وَيُشَبِّكُ لِحْيَتَهُ بِأَصَابِعِهِ أَحْيَانًا وَيَتْرُكُ هَكَذَا قَالَ
