1. Purification
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about a garment that is stained with menstrual blood. He said, "You should scrape off the blood, then wash it with water, then sprinkle it with water, and then pray in it."
[Machine] I asked the Prophet ﷺ about the blood of menstruation that stains clothes. He said: "Rub it, then wash it with water, and then sprinkle it with water and pray in it."
[Machine] A woman asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about menstrual blood that stains clothes. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Rub it off with water, then sprinkle it with water, and then pray in it."
[Machine] Neither of us had anything but one garment, in which we would menstruate. If one of us got blood on it, she would wipe it off with water and then scrape it off with her nail.
[Machine] There was a time when one of us had a shield in which she experienced menstruation, and then you would see a drop of blood in it, so she would scrape it off with her fingernail. This is in regards to a small amount of blood which is forgiven. As for a large amount of it, it is correct to say that she would wash it. And that is mentioned in its proper place, if Allah wills. It has also been narrated from Salman al-Farsi.
[Machine] If one of you scratches his skin, he should not wipe it with his saliva, as it is not pure. I mentioned that to Ibrahim and he said, "wipe it with water, as Salman intended." Allah knows best that saliva does not purify the outward blood by scratching. As for the hadith of Ammar ibn Yasir, the Prophet said to him, "O Ammar, your nasal discharge and tears are only equivalent to the water in your water container. You only wash your clothes from urine, feces, semen, blood, and vomit. This is a false statement with no basis."
