[Machine] The Prophet Mohammed ﷺ used to start by washing his hands, then perform ablution for prayer. After that, he would dip his hands into water and run his fingers through his hair roots. When he felt that his skin was well-moistened, he would pour three handfuls of water over his head. Then he would wash the rest of his body. This hadith is narrated by Hisham bin Urwah in Sahih Al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to begin by washing his hands when he performed ghusl (ritual bath) from janabah (major ritual impurity), then he would pour water with his right hand onto his left hand and wash his private parts. Then he would perform wudu (ritual ablution) for prayer, and then he would take water and insert his fingers into the roots of his hair until he felt that he had completely cleaned himself. He would then pour three handfuls of water over his head and then pour water over the rest of his body. Finally, he would wash his feet. This narration is strange and authentic.
