[Machine] "God forbid! In the permission of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , saying, 'Spread out, O Muslims, so that you may smell the winds and settle in the valleys.' They said, 'We are afraid that this will change our migration.' The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, 'You are all immigrants wherever you are.'"
[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to 'Amir Ibn Al-Akwa', "Come down, O 'Amir, and let us hear your poetry." So he descended while trembling.
[Machine] I was with the Prophet ﷺ when a man entered the mosque and said, "Apprehend him, for he is an eye." I apprehended him and I was light, so I killed him. The Prophet ﷺ rewarded me by taking his belongings.
[Machine] Aamir ibn al-Akwa was a prominent man. He struck someone and killed him, and the sword injured the foot of another man named Aamir. He started saying, "I killed myself," and he died. This incident was mentioned to the Prophet Muhammad, ﷺ , who said, "He will receive the reward of two."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not send the camel to pasture it until it is fully satiated, as the devils suckle it."
We, during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, in one month of Ramadan (observed fast according to our liking). He who wished to fast lasted and he who wished to break broke it and fed a needy person as an expiation 1544 till this verse was revealed:" He who witnesses among you the month (of Ramadan) he should observe fast during it" (ii. 184). (Using translation from Muslim 1145b)
كُنَّا فِي رَمَضَانَ فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ شَاءَ صَامَ وَمَنْ شَاءَ أَفْطَرَ وَافْتَدَى بِطَعَامِ مِسْكِينٍ حَتَّى نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ {فَمَنْ شَهِدَ مِنْكُمُ الشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ}

[Machine] Aside from Uyaynah bin Hisn, who was on the side of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and attacked Khawar, Salamah bin Al-Akwa Al-Aslami said, "I went out with my bow and my arrows, and I was throwing arrows at the prey until I reached Thaniyyah al-Wada'at. I looked and saw them driving it away, so I returned to the mountain in Sal'ah. Then I shouted, 'O Sabahah!' My shouting reached the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so he shouted among the people calling for alert. I went out, shooting arrows at them and saying, 'Take it! I am the son of Al-Akwa!' But I was surprised when I saw the horses of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passing through the trees, and eight horsemen followed them. The first to follow them was Abu Qatadah bin Rabee'. He stabbed a man from the Banu Fazarah tribe, whose name was Mas'adah, and took his quiver before moving on the enemy's track with the horsemen. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by, and the people were terrified, saying, 'Abu Qatadah has been killed!' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'This is not Abu Qatadah, but rather the killer of Abu Qatadah. Leave him and his belongings.' Then he said, 'Persist in the pursuit of the enemy.' So they persisted and took what they could from the prey. Muhammad ibn Talhah narrated that those who went out in search of the prey were called Ukkashah bin Mihsan, Muqdad bin Amr, also known as Ibn Al-Aswad, the ally of the Banu Zuhrah tribe, and Muhriz bin Nadlah Al-Asadi, the ally of the Banu Abd Shams tribe. It is said that no one from the people except him was killed. From the Ansar, those killed were Sa'd bin Zaid Al-Ashhali, who was the leader of the people, and Abbad bin Bishr Al-Ashhali, and Zahair bin Rafi' Al-Harithi. Also killed were Abu Qatadah bin Rib'i Al-Salami, Mu'adh bin Ma'is Al-Zurqi, and Abu 'Ayash Al-Zurqi. They were among the five individuals."

[Machine] Apart from Uyaynah ibn Hisn, who accompanied the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on his expedition, I had stayed behind due to an injury. Salamah ibn Al-Akwa' Al-Aslami narrates, "I left with my bow and arrows, and I continued hunting until I reached Thaniyyat Al-Wada'. When I looked, I saw them being driven away. So, I followed them towards the mountain and acquired some goods. Then, I shouted, 'O Sabahah!' (a war cry), and my shout reached the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . He shouted to the people in fear and panic. I came out and started shooting and telling them, 'Take them, for I am the son of Al-Akwa'.' Then, I saw the Messenger's cavalry passing through the trees, and they were followed by eight horsemen. The first one to join them was Abu Qatadah ibn Rabee'ah, who stabbed a man from the Banu Fazarah tribe, known as Mas'adah, and took his quiver, which he adorned for himself, and then moved forward following the enemy. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by, and the people had thought that Abu Qatadah had been killed. The Messenger said, 'He is not Abu Qatadah, but the killer of Abu Qatadah's killer. Leave him and his belongings.' Then he said, 'Carefully follow their traces.' So, the people followed their traces and were able to gather what they had collected from the war spoils. Muhammad ibn Talhah reported that in one narration it was stated, 'The companions who participated in the expedition to seek the war spoils were 'Ukkashah ibn Mihsan, Al-Muqdad ibn 'Amr, who was known as Ibn Al-Aswad, the ally of Bani Zuhrah, Muhriz ibn Nadlah Al-Asadi, the ally of Bani 'Abd Shams. It was said that no one was killed from their group except them. [Machine] He heard Ibn Al-Akwa' saying, "I said, O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, I am in the hunting grounds and I want to perform Salah, but I only have one garment." He said, "Wear it, even if you cannot find anything other than a thorny branch."
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever attributes to me something that I have not said, let him take his place in Hell." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 34)
[Machine] I pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , on the day of Hudaybiyah, then I stepped aside. He said, "O Salamah, don't you pledge allegiance?" I said, "I have already pledged allegiance." He said, "Come forward and pledge allegiance." So I approached and pledged allegiance to him. I said, "For what reason did you pledge allegiance, O Abu Muslim?" He said, "For death."
[Machine] I participated in seven battles with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I also participated in seven battles with Zaid ibn Haritha, as he was appointed over us.

[Machine] I heard a young boy saying, "The vaccine of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was taken." I asked, "Who took it?" He said, "Ghatafan and Fazara." So, I climbed the Thaniyah (a mountain) and said, "O Sabahah! O Sabahah!" Then, I started following their tracks until I retrieved it from them. Then, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came with some of his companions. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, the people are thirsty, and we have hurried them to precede us in drinking." He said, "O son of Al-Akwa', hold on and wait, for the people of Ghatafan are coming."

[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave the flag to Abu Bakr As-Siddiq and sent him to some fortresses of Khaybar, where he fought and killed, then returned without conquering. He said, "I will give the flag tomorrow to a man who loves Allah and His Messenger, and Allah will grant victory through His hand, not through fleeing." He called Ali bin Abi Talib, who was blind in his eyes, and applied saliva to his eyes, then said, "Take this flag until Allah gives you victory." Salamah said, "He went out and by Allah, he was swiftly crossing and I was following in his footsteps until he planted the flag in a rock crevice. A Jewish man from the top of the fortress looked at him and said, 'Who are you?' He said, 'I am Ali bin Abi Talib.' The Jew said, 'You have defeated them even though you did not receive what was revealed to Moses.' He did not go back until Allah granted him victory."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entrusted the banner to Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq and sent him to some fortresses of Khaybar. He fought and killed, but there was no victory yet, although he had exerted effort. He said, "I will give the banner tomorrow to someone who loves Allah and His Messenger, and Allah will grant victory through his hands without fleeing." He called upon Ali ibn Abi Talib while he was having an eye ailment. He then applied saliva to his eyes and said, "Take this banner until Allah grants victory to you." Salamah said, "So, he came out while I was following behind him, walking hurriedly, until he planted the banner in a rock crevice. A Jewish man from atop the fortress asked, 'Who are you?' He said, 'I am Ali ibn Abi Talib.' The Jewish man said, 'You have defeated them, and what was revealed to Moses has not been returned until now, until Allah grants victory to him.'"

[Machine] I accompanied the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from the direction of Aqeeq until we reached a place called Thaniyyatul Hawd, which is located in Aqeeq. He pointed towards the east with his hand and said, "I am looking at the places of the enemies of Allah, the Messiah. He will come down from such and such a place until the people's commotion reaches him. There is no corner of the city walls except that there is an angel or two angels guarding it. With him are two images, one resembling Paradise and the other resembling Hell, both with redness. There are devils with him who appear as dead people, saying to the living, 'Do you recognize me? I am your brother, I am your father, I am a close relative of yours. Haven't I died?' This is our Lord, so follow him. Allah will fulfill whatever He wills through him, and Allah will send a Muslim man to silence and make him cry. He will say, 'This is the liar, O people! Don't let him deceive you. He speaks falsehood and your Lord is not blind.' He will then say, 'Are you following me?' The man will refuse, so he will tear him into two pieces, and that will be given life to him. He will say, 'I return him to you,' and then Allah will resurrect him in a more severe state of denial and abuse. He will say, 'O people! What you have seen is a test that you have been afflicted with, and a trial that you have been tested with. If he is truthful, let him bring me back once again. Surely, he is a liar.' He will command him to be thrown into this fire, which is a likeness of Paradise, and it will come out from the direction of Ash-Sham."
