13. Chapter of Sīn (Male)
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "No one will enter Paradise while they have even an atom's weight of arrogance in their heart."
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Yemen will be opened and a people will come who are harsh. They will be kind to their families and those who obey them, and Madinah will be better for them if they only knew. Then ash-Sham will be opened and a people will come who are harsh. They will be kind to their families and those who obey them, and Madinah will be better for them if they only knew."
[Machine] Al-Qa'nabi reported from Malik, who narrated from Bakr ibn Sahl, who narrated from Abdullah ibn Yusuf, who said that Malik ibn Anas narrated from Hisham ibn Urwah, from his father, from Abdullah ibn Zubair, who narrated from Sufyan ibn Abi Zuhair, who said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Yemen will be opened and a people will come who are destitute, carrying their families and whoever obeys them. And Madinah is better for them if they only knew."
I heard Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Yemen will be conquered and some people will migrate (from Medina) and will urge their families, and those who will obey them to migrate (to Yemen) although Medina will be better for them; if they but knew. Sham will also be conquered and some people will migrate (from Medina) and will urge their families and those who will obey them, to migrate (to Sham) although Medina will be better for them; if they but knew. 'Iraq will be conquered and some people will migrate (from Medina) and will urge their families and those who will obey them to migrate (to 'Iraq) although Medina will be better for them; if they but knew." (Using translation from Bukhārī 1875)
[Machine] Abdullah bin Muslimah al-Qa'nabi narrated to me: my father told me, from Hisham bin 'Urwah, from his father, from Abdullah bin Zubair, from Sufyan bin Abi Zuhair, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Yemen will be opened and a people will come who are dry and rugged, and they will take their families and those who obey them, and Medina is better for them if only they knew. Then, Iraq will be opened and a people will come who are dry and rugged, and they will take their families and those who obey them, and Medina is better for them if only they knew. Then, Syria will be opened and a people will come who are dry and rugged, and they will take their families and those who obey them, and Medina is better for them if only they knew."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Yemen will be opened, then a group of people will come and settle there, carrying their families and those who obey them. But the city (Medina) is better for them if they only knew. Then Iraq will be opened, and a group of people will come and settle there, carrying their families and those who obey them. And the city (Medina) is better for them if they only knew. Then Sham (Syria) will be opened, and a group of people will come and settle there, carrying their families and those who obey them. And the city (Medina) is better for them if they only knew." Ahmed ibn Dawud al-Makki added in his narration: Uruwa said, "Then I met Sufyan ibn Abu Zuhaire at the time of his death, and he informed me of this hadith."

[Machine] Al-Qa'nabi narrated from Malik, who narrated from Bakr bin Sahl, who narrated from Abdullah bin Yusuf, who said that Malik narrated from Yazid bin Khusaifah that the Sa'ib bin Yazid informed him that he heard Sufyan bin Abi Zuhair, a man from Azd Shanu'ah and a companion of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , speaking to people at the gate of the mosque, saying, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Whoever keeps a dog that is not used for herding or guarding, it reduces his good deeds every day by a qirat.'" He (Yazid) asked, "Did you hear this from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ?" He replied, "Yes, I swear by the Lord of the Ka'bah."
