13. Chapter of Sīn (Male)
[Machine] Have you seen a man who found another man with his wife, and if he killed him, would you kill him? So ask the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. So Asim asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, but the Messenger of Allah ﷺ disliked the matter and criticized it. So Asim informed 'Uwaymir, who said, "By Allah, I will go to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." So he came and the Qur'an had been revealed, and he asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Qur'an has been revealed regarding you two." So they both came forward and cursed each other. Then he said, "I lied about her. If I had held her, I would have divorced her, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not order her separation. It is a Sunnah in the case of cursing each other." And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Look at her. If she comes to you with short red hair, as if she were a wild donkey, then I do not think she is anything but a liar. But if she comes to you with dark eyes and long eyelashes, then I do not think she is anything but truthful." So she came with the undesirable description.
“A place the size of a whip in Paradise is better than this world and everything in it.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4330)
[Machine] He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "My minbar (pulpit) is upon a piece of paradise."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was given a cup and he drank from it, with a young boy on his right, who was the youngest among the people, and elders on his left. He said, "O young boy, do you give me permission to give them (the elders) some of it?" He said, "I would not prefer anyone over you, O Messenger of Allah." So he gave it to them.
[Machine] A woman offered herself to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and a man from the people said, "Marry her to me." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "What do you have?" He said, "I have nothing." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Go, look for something, even if it is just an iron ring." So he went and came back and said, "No, by Allah, I have not found anything, not even an iron ring, but this is my Izaar (waist wrapper) for her. Half of it is for her." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "What will you do with your Izaar? If you cover yourself with it, there will be nothing for her from it, and if you let her wear it, there will be nothing for you from it." So the man sat down until his sitting became long. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw him or he was sent for, and he asked him, "What portion of the Qur'an do you have?" He said, "I have such and such Surahs." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "I have married her to you for what you have of the Qur'an."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Seventy thousand or seven hundred thousand from my nation will enter Paradise together, their hands holding each other, until the first and the last of them enter Paradise, and their faces will be like the full moon on a clear night."
The Prophet ﷺ said, "I am your predecessor (forerunner) at the Lake-Fount, and whoever will pass by there, he will drink from it and whoever will drink from it, he will never be thirsty. There will come to me some people whom I will recognize, and they will recognize me, but a barrier will be placed between me and them." (Using translation from Bukhārī 6583)
There was a man who fought most bravely of all the Muslims on behalf of the Muslims in a battle (Ghazwa) in the company of the Prophet. The Prophet ﷺ looked at him and said. "If anyone would like to see a man from the people of the Fire, let him look at this (brave man)." On that, a man from the People (Muslims) followed him, and he was in that state i.e., fighting fiercely against the pagans till he was wounded, and then he hastened to end his life by placing his sword between his breasts (and pressed it with great force) till it came out between his shoulders. Then the man (who was watching that person) went quickly to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "I testify that you are Messenger of Allah ﷺ!" The Prophet ﷺ asked him, "Why do you say that?" He said, "You said about so-and-so, 'If anyone would like to see a man from the people of the Fire, he should look at him.' He fought most bravely of all of us on behalf of the Muslims and I knew that he would not die as a Muslim (Martyr). So when he got wounded, he hastened to die and committed suicide." There-upon the Prophet ﷺ said, "A man may do the deeds of the people of the Fire while in fact he is one of the people of Paradise, and he may do the deeds of the people of Paradise while in fact he belongs to the people of Fire, and verily, (the rewards of) the deeds are decided by the last actions (deeds)". (Using translation from Bukhārī 6607)
Sahl bin Saʿd said that a woman brought a Burda (sheet) to the Prophet. Sahl asked the people, "Do you know what is a Burda?" The people replied, "It is a 'Shamla', a sheet with a fringe." That woman said, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! I have brought it so that you may wear it." So the Prophet ﷺ took it because he was in need of it and wore it. A man among his companions, seeing him wearing it, said, "O Allah's Apostle! Please give it to me to wear." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Yes." (and gave him that sheet). When the Prophet left, the man was blamed by his companions who said, "It was not nice on your part to ask the Prophet for it while you know that he took it because he was in need of it, and you also know that he (the Prophet) never turns down anybody's request that he might be asked for." That man said, "I just wanted to have its blessings as the Prophet ﷺ had put it on, so l hoped that I might be shrouded in it." (Using translation from Bukhārī 6036)
[Machine] "He was between the mosque, which is beyond the qibla, and the qibla's pathway of the sheep."
We used to offer the Jumua prayer with the Prophet ﷺ and then take the afternoon nap. (Using translation from Bukhārī 941)
[Machine] There was among us a woman who cultivated a vegetable garden. And whenever it was Friday, she would uproot the roots of the vegetable and put them in a pot, then she would put a handful of barley on top and cook it, and it would become a delicious dish. Sahl said, "So we would go to her after the Friday prayer and greet her, and she would bring that food closer to us. So we used to look forward to the food for that day."
[Machine] "The egg was smashed on the head of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during the Battle of Uhud, and his helmet was broken and his face was injured. So Fatimah, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, washed the blood from him, and Ali ibn Abi Talib would bring her water. When the water touched the wound, his blood increased, so she took a piece of straw and burned it until it turned into ashes, then she applied it to the wound and the bleeding stopped."
[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent to a woman from the Muhajireen (migrants) who had a slave, who was a carpenter. He said to her, "Order your slave to make for me a pulpit like the pulpit." So she ordered her slave, who went to the forest and cut some branches and made a pulpit from them. When he finished it, she sent a message to the Prophet ﷺ informing him that he had finished it. He said, "Send it to me." So they brought it to him, and the Prophet ﷺ carried it and placed it where you see it.
When this verse was revealed." Eat and drink till the white streak becomes distinct from the dark streak for you," the person who decided to observe fast tied on one of his feet a black thread and on the other a white thread. And he went on eating and drinking till he could distinguish (between their colour) on seeing them. It was after this that Allah reveal- ed (the words): min al-fajr. And they (the Muslims) came to know that (the word khait) refers to the night and day. (Using translation from Muslim 1091b)
An Arab woman was mentioned before Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He commanded Abu Usaid to send a message to her and he (accordingly) sent a message to her. She came and stayed in the fortresses of Banu Sa'idah. Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out until he came to her while she was (at that time) sitting with her head downcast. When Messenger of Allah ﷺ talked to her, she said: I seek refuge with Allah from you. Thereupon he said: I (have decided to) keep you away from me. They (the people near her) said: Do you know who he is? She said: No. They said: He is the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He came to you in order to give you the proposal of marriage. She said: Then I am the most unfortunate woman because of this (i. e. my defiance). Sahl said: Allah's. Messenger ﷺ then set forth on that day until he sat in the Saqifa of Banu Sa'idah along with his Companions. He then said to Sahl: Serve us drink. He (Sahl) said: I brought out for them this bowl (containing drink) and served them this. Abu Hazim said: Sahl brought out this cup for us and we also drank from that. Then 'Umar b. 'Abd al-'Aziz asked him to give that (cup) as a gift to him and he gave (it to) him as a gift. In the narration of Abu Bakr b. Ishaq (the words) are:" Sahl, serve us drink." (Using translation from Muslim 2007)

Where is the child? Abd Usaid said: Messenger of Allah, we took him away. He said: What is his name? He said; Messenger of Allah, it is so and so, whereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: Nay, his name is Mundhir, and named him Mundhir on that day. (Using translation from Muslim 2149)

[Machine] When Abu Sahl Usaid Al-Saadi got married, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions were invited and a meal was prepared for them. The only person who brought food to them was his wife Umm Usaid, who brought dates wrapped in a cloth from a stone container. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished eating, she brought it to him and he drank from it.
