“The best of your garments are those which are white, so shroud your dead in them, and wear them.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1472)   

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ أَطْهَرَ ثِيَابِكُمُ الْبَيَاضُ فَالْبَسُوهَا وَكَفِّنُوا فِيهَا مَوْتَاكُمْ»  

It was narrated from Samurah bin Jundab Al-Fazari that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ offered the funeral prayer for a woman who had died in nifas* and he stood level with her middle (i.e. her waist).” *The postnatal bleeding period. (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 1493)   

«أَنَّ امْرَأَةً مَاتَتْ فِي نِفَاسِهَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَصَلَّى النَّبِيُّ ﷺ عَلَيْهَا فَقَامَ وَسَطَهَا»  

"The Prophet prayed over a woman, so he stood at her middle." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1035)  

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ فَقَامَ وَسَطَهَا»
