13. Chapter of Sīn (Male)
[Machine] I came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah, my father used to maintain ties of kinship, entertain guests, and fulfill obligations. He passed away before embracing Islam." He replied, "Did he not find Islam?" I said, "No." The Prophet ﷺ then said, "It will be upon you to continue these good practices. They will never be disgraced or deprived."
Salim ibn AbulJa'dah said: A man said: (Mis'ar said: I think he was from the tribe of Khuza'ah): would that I had prayed, and got comfort. The people objected to him for it. Thereupon he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: O Bilal, call iqamah for prayer: give us comfort by it. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4985)
