13. Chapter of Sīn (Male)
١٣۔ بَابُ السِّينِ
[Machine] I accompanied the Prophet ﷺ to Hunayn, and heard him saying: "Whoever stands up for night prayer, performs ablution and rinses their mouth, then says: Subhanallah (Glory be to Allah) one hundred times, Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah) one hundred times, La ilaha illallah (There is no deity but Allah) one hundred times, and Allahu Akbar (Allah is the greatest) one hundred times, their sins will be forgiven, except for bloodshed and wealth, as those cannot be invalidated."
شَهِدْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ حُنَيْنًا فَسَمِعْتُهُ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ مَنْ قَامَ اللَّيْلَ فَتَوَضَّأَ وَمَضْمَضَ فَاهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ غُفِرَتْ لَهُ ذُنُوبُهُ إِلَّا الدِّمَاءُ وَالْأَمْوَالُ فَإِنَّهَا لَا تُبْطَلُ
[Machine] I witnessed Hunayn with the Prophet ﷺ, and I heard him saying, "Whoever prays at night, purifies their mouth and gargles, then says, 'Subhan Allah' (Glory be to Allah) one hundred times, 'Alhamdulillah' (Praise be to Allah) one hundred times, 'La ilaha illallah' (There is no god but Allah) one hundred times, and 'Allahu Akbar' (Allah is the greatest) one hundred times, their sins will be forgiven except for bloodshed and money, as they cannot be absolved."

شَهِدْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ حُنَيْنًا فَسَمِعْتُهُ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ مَنْ قَامَ اللَّيْلَ فَتَوَضَّأَ وَمَضْمَضَ فَاهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ سُبْحَانَ اللهِ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ غُفِرَتْ لَهُ ذُنُوبُهُ إِلَّا الدِّمَاءُ وَالْأَمْوَالُ فَإِنَّهَا لَا تُبْطَلُ
[Machine] From Urwah about how to name someone who witnessed the Battle of Badr from the Ansar and then from the Banu Sawwad ibn Ka'b, and the name of Ka'b is Zufar. Sa'd ibn Ubayd ibn al-Nu'man.
عَنْ عُرْوَةَ فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي سَوَّادِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ وَاسْمُ كَعْبٍ ظُفَرُ سَعْدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ
[Machine] From Ibn Shihab: "Regarding the designation of those who witnessed the Battle of Badr from the Ansar, then from the Aws, then from the Banu Amr ibn Awf, then from the Banu Umayyah ibn Zaid, it was Saad ibn Ubayd ibn Nu'man."
عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ «فِي تَسْمِيَةِ مَنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ ثُمَّ مِنَ الْأَوْسِ ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ بَنِي أُمَيَّةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ سَعْدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ»
[Machine] I heard Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Numayr saying, "Saad ibn Ubaid is Abu Zaid, and he is the one who collected the Quran. And his son is Umair ibn Saad, who was the governor of Umar, and he is Saad ibn Ubaid ibn Numaan."
سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ يَقُولُ «سَعْدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ هُوَ أَبُو زَيْدٍ وَهُوَ الَّذِي جَمَعَ الْقُرْآنَ وَابْنُهُ عُمَيْرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ وَالِي عُمَرَ وَهُوَ سَعْدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ»
[Machine] I heard Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Numayr say, "Saad ibn Ubayd was killed in the Battle of Qadisiyyah in the year sixteen."
سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ يَقُولُ «قُتِلَ سَعْدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ بِالْقَادِسِيَّةِ سَنَةَ سِتَّ عَشْرَةَ»
[Machine] Sa'd ibn 'Ubaid was called upon during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as a reciter.
كَانَ سَعْدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ يُسَمَّى عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الْقَارِئَ
