13. Chapter of Sīn (Male)
[Machine] Uthman said, "Who among the people is the most eloquent?" They said, "Sa'id bin Al-'As."
Then I asked permission to enter and he set up and said to ʿAʿishah: ʿCover yourself properly.ʿ I fulfilled my need then I went away, ʿAʿishah said: O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, why did I not see you stirring for Abu Bakr and ‘Umar as you did for ʿUthman? The Messenger of Allah (SWT) said: ʿʿUthman is a shy man, and I was afraid that if I gave him permission to enter when I was in that state, he would not tell me of his need.ʿ Al-Laith said: Some people said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to ʿAʿishah ؓ : ʿShould I not feel shy before a man before whom the angels feel shy?ʿ Saʿeed bin al-ʿAs narrated that ʿUthman and ʿAʿishah narrated that Abu Bakr asked for permission to enter upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he was lying down on his bed, wearing the cover of ʿAʿishah. And he narrated a hadeeth similar to that of ‘Uqail. (Using translation from Aḥmad 514)
[Machine] He is called Dakwan or Tahman, and he had a slave. He freed half of him and mentioned that to the Prophet ﷺ, who said: "You will be freed as you freed and you will be sprouted as you sprouted."
[Machine] That Abu Uhayhah's grandfather was sick when the Prophet ﷺ was sent, so he said during his illness, "Do not lift me from my bed, for the son of Abu Kabshah from Makkah is not worthy of coming to him." His son said while he was at his head, "O Allah, do not lift him."
[Machine] "O Messenger of Allah, grant me permission for seclusion." He said to him, "O Uthman, indeed Allah has replaced us with the tolerant Hanafi monks and the proclamation of 'Allahu Akbar' on every honor. So if you are with us, then act as we act."
