13. Chapter of Sīn (Male)
١٣۔ بَابُ السِّينِ
[Machine] Salman arrived from his absence and Umar met him. Umar said, "May Allah be pleased with you, O Abdallah." He said, "He got married in Kindah." When the night came for him to enter his family, he found the house had been prepared and there were women inside. He said, "Has the Kaaba been moved to Kindah or is it red?" Our friend, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , commanded us not to take from our belongings except what a traveler would take and not to take from women except what we would marry. So the women left and he entered his family. He said, "O woman, do you disobey me or obey me?" She said, "Indeed, I obey you in whatever you wish." He said, "Indeed, my friend has commanded us that when one of us enters his family, he should stand and pray, and he should command her to pray behind him, and he should supplicate and be safe." So he did that and she did that. When he sat down in the gathering of Kindah, a man from the people asked him, "How are you this morning, O Abu Abdallah? How did you find your family last night?" He remained silent. The man repeated the question, "What is the matter with you, that one of you asks about what is in his walls and doors?" It is enough for one of you to ask about something and he is answered, or he remains silent about it.

[Machine] Salman entered upon Umar while he was reclining on a cushion. Salman threw it to him and said, "Allahu Akbar! Allah and His Messenger spoke truthfully." Umar then said, "Tell us, O Abu Abdullah." Salman said, "I entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was reclining on a cushion, and he threw it to me. Then he said, 'O Salman, there is no Muslim who enters upon his Muslim brother and throws a cushion to him as a gesture of respect, except that Allah will forgive him.'"
