13. Chapter of Sīn (Male) (1/36)
[Machine] I asked Matar Al-Warraq and said: Does a person recite "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful" and seek refuge in Allah from Satan at the beginning of every Rak'ah (unit of prayer) and at the beginning of every Surah (chapter) he recites? Matar Al-Warraq said: Qatadah informed me on the authority of Muhammad ibn Sirin on the authority of Imran ibn Husayn and Samurah ibn Jundub from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who said, "These two are the silken ropes, he does this for himself when he commences the prayer and when he rises from the sitting position in the two Rak'ahs."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever kills a person, then he must be deprived of his belongings."
“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Whoever kills, the spoils are his.’” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2838)

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to say when it was a rainy day, during travel, he would call out to his companions, saying, "Pray in your caravans."

[Machine] After that, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to command us to pray every night, after the obligatory prayer, as much as is easy for us, and to make it a Witr prayer.

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to say to us, "Indeed, if any one of you had a valley filled with gold, he would love to have another valley. Verily, by Allah, I can fill you with wealth, but a person's soul is not satisfied with wealth until it is satisfied with dust."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to command us to pray at any hour we wish during the day and night, except that he commanded us to avoid the rising and setting of the sun. He said: "Indeed, the Devil goes away with it and comes out with it when it rises."

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us (to recite) when we sit in the middle of the prayer or at its end before the salutation: The adorations of the tongue, all good things, acts of worship, and the Kingdom are due to Allah. Then give salutation to the right side; then salute your reciter (i.e. the imam) and yourselves. Abu Dawud said: Sulaiman b. Musa hails from Kufah and he lives in Damascus. Abu Dawud said: This collection of traditions indicates that al-Hasan (al-Basri) heard traditions from Samurah (b. Jundub). (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 975)

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ was approached by a man from the Bedouins who came to seek his advice regarding what is permissible and prohibited for him in terms of his wealth, rituals, lifestyle, and inheritance, including the products and offspring of his camels and livestock. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "You are permitted to consume what is lawful and prohibited from what is impure, except in the case of extreme necessity where you are allowed to eat from it until you can sustain yourself without it." At that time, the man asked, "What is considered poverty for a person who consumes such things? Is it my poverty that compels me to eat or my wealth that enables me to abstain?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ answered, "If you expect offspring, then feed the flesh of your livestock to your offspring. Or if you expect rain, and it reaches you while you are present, then bring the flesh of your livestock to your offspring. And if you expect benefit from its wealth, then bring the flesh of your livestock to the one from whom you expect benefit. However, if you do not expect anything from these situations, then feed your family until you can sustain yourselves without it." The Bedouin asked, "What wealth should I leave behind if I find any?" The Prophet ﷺ replied, "If you come across a surplus of milk, give it to your family and avoid consuming what is forbidden to you from food. As for your wealth, all of it is lawful except for the offspring of your camels, which are considered a branch of your wealth, and the offspring of your sheep, which are also considered a branch. Feed them to your livestock until you can sustain yourself, and if you wish, feed your family with it. And if you would like, you can also give it as charity." He also advised him to distribute one tenth of his sheep as inheritance for every one hundred.
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , used to instruct us to give charity to the young and elderly individuals who are unable to work, without intending to sell them. He would also command us not to take anything from them in charity. He would order us to give charity from what is prepared for sale."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited us from attributing and said, "If anyone of you insults his companion, it is definitely forbidden to falsely accuse him or insult his parents or insult his people. However, if he knows that, he should say, 'You are stingy' or he should say, 'You are cowardly' or he should say, 'You are a liar' or he should say, 'You are indecent.'"
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say to us, "Do not swear by the false deities, nor by your fathers. Instead, swear by Allah, for indeed, He likes you to swear by Him and not by anything besides Him."
[Machine] Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to instruct us to recite the Noble Qur'an as we recited it, and he said, "Verily, it was revealed with three dialects, so do not differ therein and do not dispute about it, for indeed it is blessed. So recite it like you have been taught."
[Machine] The messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Verily, the Arabs are descendants of Sam ibn Noah, and the Romans are descendants of Japheth ibn Noah, and the Abyssinians are descendants of Ham ibn Noah."
