[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say to us, "Do not swear by the false deities, nor by your fathers. Instead, swear by Allah, for indeed, He likes you to swear by Him and not by anything besides Him."  

الطبراني:٧٠٣١ – حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ ثنا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ السَّمُرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ثنا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَنَا «لَا تَحْلِفُوا بِالطَّوَاغِيتِ وَلَا تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ وَاحْلِفُوا بِاللهِ فَإِنَّهُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيْهِ أَنْ تَحْلِفُوا بِهِ وَلَا تَحْلِفُوا بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ دُونِهِ»

"لا تَحلِفُوا بِالطَّواغِيتِ، ولا تَحلِفُوا بِآبائكُمْ، واحلفُوا بِاللهِ فإنَّه أَحَبُّ إليهِ أَنْ تَحْلِفُوا بِهِ، ولا تحلِفُوا بِشيء مِن دُونه".
