13. Chapter of Sīn (Male)
١٣۔ بَابُ السِّينِ
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I would rather bear witness to dawn and then sit and remember Allah until the sun rises, than to ride horses in the cause of Allah until the sun rises."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَأَنْ أَشْهَدَ الصُّبْحَ ثُمَّ أَجْلِسَ أَذْكُرُ اللهَ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَحْمِلَ عَلَى جِيَادِ الْخَيْلِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ»
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Indeed, the people of Paradise will see the rooms of Paradise in the same way that they see the Eastern and Western shining star."
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «إِنَّ أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ لَيَتَرَاءَوْنَ الْغُرْفَةَ مِنْ غُرَفِ الْجَنَّةِ كَمَا يَتَرَاءَوْنَ الْكَوْكَبَ الْغَارِبَ الدُّرِّيَّ الشَّرْقِيَّ وَالْغَرْبِيَّ»
[Machine] In the time of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , women were commanded during prayer not to lift their heads until men took their seats on the ground from the opening of their garments.
كُنَّ النِّسَاءُ فِي عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ يُؤْمَرْنَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ أَنْ لَا يَرْفَعْنَ رُءُوسَهُنَّ حَتَّى يَأْخُذَ الرِّجَالُ مَقَاعِدَهُمْ مِنَ الْأَرْضِ مِنْ فَتَّاحَةِ الثِّيَابِ
[Machine] Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Verily, Paradise has a gate called Ar-Rayan. It will be said on the Day of Resurrection: Where are the fasters? So when they enter, it will be closed and no one else will enter from it except for them."
إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ لِلْجَنَّةِ بَابًا يُدْعَى الرَّيَّانَ يُقَالُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَيْنَ الصَّائِمُونَ؟ فَإِذَا دَخَلُوا أُغْلِقَ وَلَمْ يَدْخُلْ مِنْهُ أَحَدٌ غَيْرُهُمْ
The Prophet ﷺ said: "The tasbih is for men and clapping is for women." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1210)
عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ رَفَعَهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «التَّصْفِيقُ لِلنِّسَاءِ وَالتَّسْبِيحُ لِلرِّجَالِ»
[Machine] That men from the Muslims used to witness the prayer with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ tying their garments and none of them had more than one garment.
«أَنَّ رِجَالًا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ كَانُوا يَشْهَدُونَ الصَّلَاةَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ عَاقِدِي أَرْدِيَتِهِمْ وَمَا عَلَى أَحَدِهِمْ إِلَّا ثَوْبٌ وَاحِدٌ»
