“I have been commanded to fight the people until they say: La ilaha illallah. If they say: La ilaha illallah, then their blood and wealth are protected from me, except for a right that is due from it, and their reckoning will be with Allah.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3928)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , went to the tribe of Bani Amr ibn Awf to reconcile between them regarding a dispute that had arisen among them. The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , did not arrive until the midday prayer had been established. Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, stepped forward to lead the people in prayer and he pronounced the takbeer (saying Allahu Akbar, meaning "Allah is the Greatest"). Then the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , entered, and the people began applauding Abu Bakr for his quick response to the entrance of the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ . Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, did not turn around in his prayer. But when he heard the sound of the footsteps behind him, indicating that the row behind him had been completed, he knew that the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , had come. He stepped back to open up a space between him and the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , until the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , led him to his proper place. Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, took a few steps back, and then joined the row behind him. When the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , noticed this, he stepped forward and led them in prayer until the prayer was complete, then he uttered the tasleem (saying As-salaamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah, meaning "peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah"). He then approached Abu Bakr and asked him, "Abu Bakr, what made you do what you did? Didn't you stay in your place when I led you?" Abu Bakr replied, "Indeed, I intended to do that, but I did not see it appropriate for the son of Abu Quhafa (referring to himself) to precede the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ ." Then he turned to the people and said, "When a representative is appointed for you, then it is upon you to say the tasbeeh (saying SubhanAllah, meaning "Glory be to Allah"), as the tasbeeh is for the men and the applause is for the women."

[Machine] He said: While we were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , a woman approached him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I offer myself to you as a gift." He looked at her up and down and straightened himself. Then he remained silent. A man stood up who had nothing on him except for a single garment tied around his neck. He said, "If you don't need her, then marry her to me." The Prophet ﷺ asked him, "Do you have anything to give as a dowry?" He replied, "No." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Then you must find something. Go and look for it." So he went and searched, but he found nothing. He returned and said, "I couldn't find anything." The Prophet ﷺ told him, "Go and search, even if it's just a ring made of iron." So he went and returned, saying, "I couldn't find even a ring made of iron." Then he sat down, and the Prophet ﷺ asked him, "Do you have any part of the Quran with you?" He replied, "Surah such and such and Surah such and such." The Prophet ﷺ said, "I have married her to you based on what you have of the Quran."

[Machine] He said, "A woman came to the Messenger of Allah with a cloak and said, 'I made this for you with my own hands.' So the Messenger of Allah accepted it from her and had a need for it, so he covered himself with it and then went out. A man from his companions said, 'Let me have it.' He said, 'Yes.' So he gave it to him. Sahl said, 'I said to the man, 'You have seen the need of the Messenger of Allah for it and then you asked for it?' He said, 'I have seen what you have seen, but I wanted to keep it until he was shrouded in it and then be shrouded in it.'"

[Machine] A group of people came to him, discussing which wood the pulpit of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was made from. He said, "I do not know which wood it is made from, nor who made it, and the day on which the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood on it." He said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ordered a woman from the Ansar to command a carpenter to make wooden sticks for her, on which people could sit. He made them from the branches of a tree from the forest. When he finished, the woman informed the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so he sent for him. He was brought and people sat on them. Then the prayer was established, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the takbir while standing on the pulpit. Then he bowed on it, and then he went down for prostration and performed sujud. Then he bowed on the pulpit again and did the same until he finished his prayer."
