[Machine] After that, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to command us to pray every night, after the obligatory prayer, as much as is easy for us, and to make it a Witr prayer.  

الطبراني:٧٠٠١ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ وَمُوسَى بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَا ثنا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ السَّمُرِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ عَنْ خُبَيْبِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ قَالَ

أَمَّا بَعْدُ «فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَأْمُرُنَا أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ أَحَدُنَا كُلَّ لَيْلَةٍ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ مَا قَلَّ أَوْ كَثُرَ وَيَجْعَلُهَا وِتْرًا»
