[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave the flag to Abu Bakr As-Siddiq and sent him to some fortresses of Khaybar, where he fought and killed, then returned without conquering. He said, "I will give the flag tomorrow to a man who loves Allah and His Messenger, and Allah will grant victory through His hand, not through fleeing." He called Ali bin Abi Talib, who was blind in his eyes, and applied saliva to his eyes, then said, "Take this flag until Allah gives you victory." Salamah said, "He went out and by Allah, he was swiftly crossing and I was following in his footsteps until he planted the flag in a rock crevice. A Jewish man from the top of the fortress looked at him and said, 'Who are you?' He said, 'I am Ali bin Abi Talib.' The Jew said, 'You have defeated them even though you did not receive what was revealed to Moses.' He did not go back until Allah granted him victory."

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave the flag to Abu Bakr al-Siddiq and sent him to some fortresses of Khaybar. He fought and killed [the enemies], but there was no victory yet even though he exerted effort. So he said, "Tomorrow, I will give the flag to a man who loves Allah and His Messenger, and Allah will grant victory through him without running away." He called Ali ibn Abi Talib, who was one-eyed, and he felt in his eyes. Then he said, "Take this flag until Allah grants you victory." Salamah said, "And by Allah, he hurried while I followed in his footsteps until he planted the flag on top of a stone. A Jewish man from the top of the fortress looked at him and said, "Who are you?" He replied, "I am Ali ibn Abi Talib." The Jew said, "You have defeated them, and what was revealed to Musa has not returned until Allah granted him victory."
