13. Chapter of Sīn (Male) (27/36)
[Machine] "A woman entered upon the Prophet ﷺ and he said, 'O Aisha, do you recognize her?' She replied, 'Yes.' So, he recited a poem about her and said, 'Indeed, the devil has blown in her nostrils.'"
[Machine] I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ bring out Abdullah ibn Hanzalah from under the covers of the Kaaba and kill him, then he said, "No Quraishi should be killed after this with patience."
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ heard a man behind him flipping pebbles while he was in prayer, so he said, "Who is flipping pebbles?" A man replied, "It's me." The Prophet ﷺ said, "That is a distraction in your prayer."
[Machine] I heard Saa'ib ibn Yazeed saying, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sought refuge for me with the opening chapter of the book, Tafleh."
[Machine] In the middle of his head, his hair was black, while the rest of his head and his beard were white. So I said to him, "By Allah, I have never seen anyone with a head like yours, this part is white and this part is black." He said, "Shouldn't I inform you, O my son?" I said, "Yes." He said, "I used to play with young boys, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by me, so I presented myself to him and greeted him. He said, 'And upon you. Who are you?' I said, 'I am Sa'ib bin Yazid, the brother of Namir bin Qasit.' So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wiped my head and said, 'May Allah bless you.' He said, 'By Allah, it will never turn white again.' Or he said, 'It will always remain like this.'"

[Machine] "Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ that he had a mu'adhin. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would sit on the pulpit, the mu'adhin would call the adhan. And when he descended, he would stand, and this was the practice during the time of the Prophet ﷺ, Abu Bakr, and Umar. But when Uthman's time came, the population increased and became numerous. So he ordered a mu'adhin to call the adhan of Zuhr before its actual time, to inform the people that Friday had arrived."
[Machine] The first adhan on Friday during the time of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to be called when the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ sat on the pulpit. When he descended, another adhan was called. This was the time of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , Abu Bakr, and Umar. But when Uthman came, the people increased in number and spread out, so he ordered a Mu'adhdhin to call the adhan from the mosque of Al-Zawra' before he left.
[Machine] The call to prayer was during the time of the Prophet Muhammad, Abu Bakr, and Umar, by the pulpit, and the first one to introduce the final call to prayer was Uthman.
[Machine] "That the call on Friday used to begin when the Imam sat down, and when the prayer was established during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and Abu Bakr and Umar, until the time of Uthman and when people increased, the third call was added to al-Zawra."
During the time of the Prophet ﷺ and Abu Bakr and 'Umar the call to the Friday prayer was first made at the time when the imam was seated on the pulpit (for giving the sermon). When the time of 'Uthman came, and the people became abundant, 'Uthman ordered to make a third call to the Friday prayer. It was made on al-Zaura' (a house in Medina). The rule of action continued to the same effect. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 1087)
"The third Adhan was ordered by 'Uthman when the number of people in Al-Madinah increased. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ only had one Adhan, and the Adhan on Friday was when the Imam sat down." (Using translation from Nasāʾī 1393)
[Machine] "That the first Adhan was when the Imam sits on the pulpit on the Day of Friday during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , Abu Bakr, and Omar."
[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not have other than one muezzin, so the adhan used to be proclaimed on Fridays when the imam would sit.

The Prophet ﷺ said, 'No 'Adwa (i.e. no contagious disease is conveyed to others without Allah's permission); nor (any evil omen in the month of) Safar; nor Hama" A bedouin said, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! What about the camels which, when on the sand (desert) look like deers, but when a mangy camel mixes with them they all get infected with mange?" On that Allah s Apostle said, "Then who conveyed the (mange) disease to the first (mangy) camel?" (Using translation from Bukhārī 5770)

[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and Abu Bakr did not appoint a judge, and the first person to practice qada (judicial duties) was Umar. Umar said to him, "Keep the people away from me regarding the dirham and dirhamayn(few silver coins)."

[Machine] The blood money (compensation) during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was one hundred camels: four-year-old camels, twenty-five pregnant camels, twenty-five female camels, twenty-five young camels, and twenty-five pregnant she-camels. This continued until the time of Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), who said, "Not everyone can find camels, so substitute them with equal measure of camels." The blood money was initially four thousand dirhams, then when camels became scarce, Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Replace the camels," and they were substituted with one and a half times the value. The blood money became six thousand dirhams. Then when camels became scarce again, Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Replace the camels," and they were substituted with double the value. The blood money became eight thousand dirhams. Then when camels became scarce again, Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Replace the camels," and they were substituted with three times the value. The blood money became twelve thousand. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) imposed a penalty of twelve thousand on the people of Wariq, one hundred camels on the people of camels, one thousand dinars on the people of gold, two hundred valuable ornaments on the people of jewelry, each valued at five dinars, one thousand sheep on the people of sheep, one thousand goats on the people of goats, and two hundred cows on the people of cows.

[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ divided the booty that Allah had bestowed upon him from the spoils of Hunayn among the people of Makkah, from the Quraysh and others. This angered the Ansar, so when the Prophet ﷺ heard about it, he came to them in their homes and said, "Whoever is not from the Ansar, let him leave to his caravan." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ made the declaration of faith and praised Allah, then he said, "O people of the Ansar, I have been informed about your conversation regarding these spoils that I have given to certain people to strengthen their faith and become witnesses for Islam. Allah has instilled Islam in their hearts." Then he said, "O people of the Ansar, has not Allah bestowed upon you His guidance and honored you with nobility? He has given you the best of names, Ansar Allah (the helpers of Allah) and Ansar Rasulullah (the helpers of the Messenger of Allah). If it were not for the migration, I would have been one of the Ansar. If the people take a valley, and you take a valley, would you not be satisfied that the people take the sheep, camels, and cattle, while you take the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?" When the Ansar heard the words of the Prophet ﷺ, they said, "We are satisfied." The Prophet ﷺ said, "Answer me regarding what I have said." The Ansar said, "O Messenger of Allah, when we were in darkness, Allah brought us to light through you. When we were on the brink of the Fire, Allah saved us through you. When we were astray, Allah guided us through you. So we are pleased with Allah as our Lord, Islam as our religion, and Muhammad as our Prophet. Do as you wish, O Messenger of Allah, in the widest scope." The Prophet ﷺ said, "By Allah, if you had responded to me with anything other than what you have said, I would have said you spoke the truth. Did we not shelter you when you were a fugitive? Did we not believe in you when others denied you? Did we not support you when others abandoned you? And did we not accept what no one else accepted? If you had said this, you would have spoken the truth." The Ansar said, "Rather, to Allah and His Messenger belongs the favor and the generosity, on us and on others." Then they wept, and the Prophet ﷺ wept with them, and he was pleased with them, for what he said to them caused them the greatest joy and was more beloved to them than any material wealth.

[Machine] "That the Prophet ﷺ appeared on the day of Uhud between two shields."
[Machine] That the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to say that it is enough for a person to ask God by saying, "Oh Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, and enter me into Paradise."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "My followers will continue to remain on the Fitrah as long as they offer the Maghrib prayer before the appearance of the stars."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever drinks an intoxicant, Allah will not accept his prayer for forty days."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no man who is sitting in a gathering and says, when he intends to leave it, 'Subhanaka Allahumma wa bihamdika, la ilaha illa anta, astaghfiruka wa atubu ilaik' (Glory and praise be to You, O Allah, there is no deity worthy of worship except You. I seek forgiveness from You and repent unto You), except that he will be forgiven for what occurred in that gathering." I narrated this hadith to Yazid ibn Khusaifah, who said that Saib ibn Yazid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated to him from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the same way.
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have been granted superiority over the prophets with five things: I was sent to all people, I have been given the privilege of intercession for my nation, I was granted victory through fear for one month ahead of me and one month behind me, the earth has been made a mosque and a purifier for me, and spoils of war have been made lawful for me, while they were not made lawful for anyone before me.
13.185 [Machine] Yazeed ibn Khusayfah reports from As-Sa'ib
[Machine] "I complained during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , so I was brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . I saw him reciting the Quran and blowing on me." (The wording is from Hisham ibn Ammar)
[Machine] I heard Al-Sa'ib bin Yazid Al-Kindi, the son of the daughter of Al-Namir, saying, "Prayer was initially prescribed as two units of prayer, then it was increased during the Salah of Al-Hadar (residing) and the prayer of Al-Safar (travel) was made shorter."
13.186 [Machine] Saad bin Sa'id Al-Ansari from As-Sa'ib
[Machine] Al-Qa'nabi narrated from Abd al-Aziz bin Muhammad, from Saad bin Sa'eed al-Ansari, from Saib bin Yazid who said, "The prayer was initially obligated as two units, two units. Then, it was increased for the prayer of residents while the prayer of travelers was shortened."
"My father took me for Hajj with the Messenger of Allah during the Farewell Hajj, and I was seven years old." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 925)
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever tells a lie about me deliberately, let him take his place in Hell.” (Using translation from Aḥmad 584)
13.187 [Machine] Mohammed son of Yousef from Sa'ib son of Yazid
[Machine] My aunt took me to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ . She said, "O Messenger of Allah, indeed, my nephew is complaining." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed ablution and I drank the water of his ablution. Then I stood behind his back and I saw his seal between his two shoulders, like the size of a pigeon's egg.
[Machine] "He (Saib ibn Yazid) was the measurement during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , equaling one and a third of your measurement today. It increased during the time of Umar ibn Abdul Aziz. Saib said, 'I performed Hajj during the time of the Prophet ﷺ while I was still a young boy.'"
My aunt took me to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ! This son of my sister has got a disease in his legs." So he passed his hands on my head and prayed for Allah's blessings for me; then he performed ablution and I drank from the remaining water. I stood behind him and saw the seal of Prophethood between his shoulders, and it was like the "Zir-al-Hijla" (means the button of a small tent, but some said 'egg of a partridge.' etc.) (Using translation from Bukhārī 190)
[Machine] "We were in the time of the Prophet ﷺ and Abu Bakr, and some of the time of Umar. We did not whip in the case of alcohol until they became persistent in it, so Umar whipped eighty lashes but they did not cry. Umar then increased it to eighty lashes and said, 'If one becomes intoxicated, he will fabricate and speak lies'."
[Machine] A man was brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. They said, "O Messenger of Allah, this man has stolen several camels or livestock." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "What made him do it?" Then they said, "O Messenger of Allah, this man has stolen." He said, "What made him do it?" until he testified against himself. He then said, "Take him and cut off his hand, then bring him to me." So they cut off his hand and brought him to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said, "Woe to you, repent to Allah." He said, "I repent to Allah." He said, "O Allah, accept his repentance."
[Machine] "He has indeed ruined his face. By Allah, what a sky Allah has created! I have prayed on my face for eighty years, and prostration has not left a mark between my eyes."
13.188 [Machine] Abu Mawdud Abdul Aziz ibn Abi Suleiman al-Madani about al-Sa'ib
[Machine] I heard As-Sa'ib bin Yazid saying: When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived in Madinah after the Tabuk campaign, the people went out to receive him. The women and children also went out. As-Sa'ib said, "I was among those who went out along with the children until we met the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at Thaniyyat Al-Wada'."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "What a good pre-dawn meal is dates."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , said, "What an excellent pre-dawn meal is dates."
“What a blessed condiment vinegar is.” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 3316)
