"The Prophet wiped over the Khuff and the Khimar." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 101)
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When words become widespread, actions are hidden, tongues unite against one another, and hearts become hardened, and people sever ties with their relatives, then at that time, Allah will curse them, deafen their ears, and blind their eyes."
The adoration of the tongue are due to Allah, and acts of worship, all good things. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and Allah’s mercy and His blessings. Ibn ‘Umar said: I added: “And Allah’s blessings, peace be upon us, and upon Allah’s upright servants. I testify that there is not god but Allah. “Ibn ‘Umar said: I added to it: He is alone, no one is His associate, and I testify that Muhammad is His servant and His Apostle. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 971)
[Machine] I set off when I arrived at the cities, and behold, there was a man dressed in elegant clothing, and he had a red turban wrapped around his head. He turned and looked at me, then motioned with his hand, indicating for me to come to him. So I got up and said to those who were with me, "Who is this man?" They said, "This is Salman." He entered his house and then came out wearing white clothes. He approached me, took my hand, shook it, and asked me, "Abdullah, did you recognize me? Did you not see me before or recognize me?" I said, "Yes, indeed, by the one in whose hand is my soul, I recognized your soul when I saw you. Aren't you Al-Harith bin 'Amir?" I said, "Yes." He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Souls are like recruited soldiers. Those who are familiar with each other unite, while those who are opposites, differ.'"
[Machine] I was walking with Salman along the banks of the Tigris River, and he said, "O brother from the tribe of Abs, sit down and drink." So I drank, and then he said, "Drink again." So I drank again. He said, "Has your thirst been quenched from the Tigris?" I said, "Perhaps it has not been quenched." He said, "Indeed, knowledge is like that, it is taken from it and does not decrease." Then he said, "Ride on." And we passed by heaps of wheat and barley. He said, "Do you see this? It is a treasure for us and a calamity for the people of Muhammad ﷺ ." I said, "I do not know." He said, "But I know that it is a calamity for us and a blessing for them. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ never had his fill for three consecutive days before he met Allah."
[Machine] The first of this Ummah to embrace Islam was Ali ibn Abi Talib.
[Machine] Salman said, "This was revealed concerning the Prophet of Allah ﷺ: 'That is because among them are priests and monks.'"
سَلْمَانُ «نَزَلَتْ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ» {ذَلِكَ بِأَنَّ مِنْهُمْ قِسِّيسِينَ ورُهْبانًا}
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Four deeds of the living reach the dead: a person who leaves behind a righteous child who prays for him, a person who gives charity that continues to benefit him after his death, a person who imparts knowledge that is acted upon after his death, and a person who leaves behind a copy of the Qur'an that is read from without diminishing the reward of those who read it."
[Machine] When death approached him, they noticed some distress in him. They said, "What saddens you, O Abu Abdullah, when you have a precedent in goodness? You witnessed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ great conquests." He said, "I am saddened by our beloved Muhammad ﷺ when he left us and entrusted us, saying, 'Let him who has journeyed take his provisions from you.' So, he is the one who saddens me." Then, Salman's wealth was collected and its value amounted to fifteen dirhams.
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Indeed, the hungriest people on the Day of Resurrection will be those who were the most satisfied in the world. O Salman, the world is a prison for the believer and a paradise for the disbeliever."
[Machine] And Salman said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took Ali's hand and said, "Indeed, this is the first person who believed in me and he is the first person who will shake hands with me on the Day of Resurrection. And this is the greatest Siddiq (truthful person), and this is the distinguisher between truth and falsehood, and this is the lion of the believers, and the wealth is the lion of the oppressor."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out to visit a man from the Ansar, and when he entered upon him, he placed his hand on his forehead and said, "How do you find yourself?" He did not feel any pain, so it was said, "O Messenger of Allah, he is preoccupied with you." So he said, "Leave me alone with him." The women left him and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his hand and the sick man indicated that he should move his hand where it was. Then he called out, "O so-and-so, how do you find yourself?" He said, "I find myself well and I have been visited by two, one of them is black and the other is white." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Which of them is closer to you?" He said, "The black." He said, "Indeed, good is only a little, and evil is abundant." He said, "So grant me something from your prayer, O Messenger of Allah." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Allah, forgive the many sins and grant me the little good." Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "What do you see?" He said, "I see good, by my father and mother, good is growing and I see evil declining, and the blackness has been delayed from me." He said, "What work did you do when you were most devoted to it?" He said, "I used to water the water." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Listen, O Salman, do you deny anything from me?" He said, "Yes, by my father and mother, I have seen you in places where I did not see you in the same condition as you are today." He said, "I know what will meet every vein, except that it is death approaching rapidly."
[Machine] Abu Bakr and Umar entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "From the signs of a hypocrite is that when he speaks, he lies; when he makes a promise, he breaks it; and when he is entrusted, he betrays." So, Abu Bakr and Umar left the presence of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and they were upset. I met them and said, "Why do I see you upset?" They said, "We heard a statement from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in which he said, 'From the signs of a hypocrite is that when he speaks, he lies; when he makes a promise, he breaks it; and when he is entrusted, he betrays.'" I asked them, "Did you not ask the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about it?" They replied, "We did inform him, but he did not place us in the position where they are placed, saying, 'I have met them and did not present them (with the question).' However, the hypocrite, when he speaks, he regards himself with these characteristics: that he lies when he speaks, that he intends to break his promises when he makes them, and that he considers himself a betrayer when entrusted."

[Machine] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "A man does not bathe on the day of Friday and purify himself with whatever he can of his purification, anoint himself with his oil, or touch any perfume from his house, then go and not separate between two people, then pray what is prescribed for him, then remain still when the Imam speaks, except that what is between him and the next Friday will be forgiven."

Souls are troops collected together and those who familiarised with each other (in the heaven from where these come) would have affinity, with one another (in the world) and those amongst them who opposed each other (in the Heaven) would also be divergent (in the world). [Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , say: "Whoever glorifies Allah with a tasbeeh (saying SubhanAllah), or praises Him with a hamd (saying Alhamdulillah), or says the tahleel (saying La ilaha illallah), or says the takbeer (saying Allahu Akbar), Allah will plant for him a tree in Paradise, its root being a red ruby adorned with pearls. Its branches will be softer than the softest silk, sweeter than honey, and smoother than butter."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The devotion of one day and one night is better than fasting for a whole month and praying during that month. And whoever dies while defending the cause of Allah will receive the same reward, and his sustenance will continue, and he will be protected from the punishment of the grave."
I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: Keeping watch for a day and a night is better (in point of reward) than fasting for a whole month and standing in prayer every night. If a person dies (while, performing this duty), his (meritorious) activity will continue and he will go on receiving his reward for it perpetually and will be saved from the torture of the grave. (Using translation from Muslim 1913a)
[Machine] He saw Salman Al-Farisi while he was guarding the coast of Homs. He asked, "What brings you here?" Salman replied, "I am guarding." Salman said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'A day guarding for the sake of Allah is equivalent to fasting and praying for a month. And whoever dies while guarding, his deeds will continue and he will be protected from the trials, and he will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment as a martyr.'"

[Machine] I went out seeking religion, and I found it in the remnants of the People of the Book among the monks. Allah ﷻ said, "They recognize him as they recognize their sons." And they used to say, "This is the time of a prophet who has emerged from the land of the Arabs. He has signs, such as a round mark between his shoulders, and the seal of prophethood." So, I followed him to the land of the Arabs, and the Prophet ﷺ emerged. I saw everything they had mentioned, and I saw the seal, so I testified that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. I heard him saying, "The guardian of a day and a night is better than fasting a month and its night prayers, constantly standing and never resting, and fasting without breaking it. And if he dies in his post, his good deeds continue until he is resurrected and he is protected from the punishment of the grave."

[Machine] I went with my father to visit a relative of ours who had recently embraced Islam. I overheard him saying, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: 'Grant us relief through it, O Bilal, with the prayer.'" I asked him, "Did you hear this from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ?" He became angry and turned to the people, informing them that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had sent a man to a tribe of the Arabs. When he arrived, he said: 'Verily, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ has commanded me to judge in your affairs as I wish.' They replied: 'We hear and obey the command of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ .' They then sent a man to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , informing him: 'So-and-so came to us and said: 'Indeed, the Prophet ﷺ has commanded me to judge in your affairs as I wish. If it is your command, we hear and obey, and if it is other than that, then we prefer to inform you.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ became angry and sent a man from the Ansar (Helpers) saying, 'Go to so-and-so and kill him and burn him with fire.'
