[Machine] I came to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and embraced Islam. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, make something for my people that they can embrace Islam upon." So he did, and Abu Bakr used me after the Prophet ﷺ , and then Umar used me after Abu Bakr. I said to my people, "There is no good in wealth that is not given in charity, so pay the Zakat of honey." They asked, "How much do you see?" I said, "One-tenth." So I took one-tenth from them and went to Umar. He sold it and put it in the charity of the Muslims.
[Machine] And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said during his visit to Saad bin Abi Waqqas in the Farewell Hajj, "O Allah, guide the migration of my companions and do not leave them in a state of loss." But the unfortunate Saad bin Khawla mourned for him, saying that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ died in Mecca.

[Machine] I heard my father say that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ advised me against boasting. Therefore, whoever settles in a land that requires payment, they are indeed boasting. And I dislike to settle (in such a land).
his father asked the Prophet ﷺ about the earnings of a cupper and he forbade him from that. Then he mentioned his need and he said: "Spend it on feeding your she-camels that draw water." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 2166)

[Machine] I saw Abu Sa'eed al-Khudri, rubbing his beard. So, I said, "Are you playing with your beard?" He replied, "No, this is what I endured from the oppression of the people of Sham. They entered upon me during the time of freedom and took whatever belongings or provisions were in the house. Then another group entered upon me and found nothing in the house, so they were ashamed to leave empty-handed." He said, "Lay down the old man and lay me down." So, each one of them took a strand from my beard.
[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah saying, "There will emerge from this ummah people who will slip out of the religion as an arrow slips out of its target."
[Machine] Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri narrated to me that the Prophet ﷺ said, "When one of you eats food, he should not wipe his hand until he licks his fingers, as he does not know in which food the blessing lies."
[Machine] On the authority of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ , who said: "Whoever sleeps with his hand covered in the smell of henna, and he gets some dirt on himself, then let him not blame anyone but himself."
[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you is praying, do not raise his gaze to the sky, for it will not be returned to him."
[Machine] Narrated Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I am the Prophet, there is no falsehood in that. I am the son of Abdul-Muttalib, I am the most eloquent among the Arabs, and Quraysh is my tribe. I was raised in the Banu Sa'd bin Bakr, so how can I have a speech impediment?"
The Prophet ﷺ said: A man should not look at the private parts of another man, and a woman should not look at the private parts of another woman. A man should not lie with another man without wearing lower garment under one cover; and a woman should not be lie with another woman without wearing lower garment under one cover. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 4018)
Apostle of Allah, may God enable us to lay down our lives for you, which beverage is good for us? He (the Prophet) said: (Not to speak of beverages, I would lay stress) that you should not drink in the wine jars. They said: Apostle of Allah, may God enable us to lay down our lives for you, do you know what al-naqir is? He (the Holy Prophet) replied: Yes, it is a stump which you hollow out in the middle, and added: Do not use gourd or receptacle (for drink). Use water-skin the mouth of which is tied with a thong (for this purpose). (Using translation from Muslim 18c)
[Machine] On the authority of Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri, he reported from the Prophet ﷺ who said, "If a person becomes uncertain during their prayer as to whether they have added something or omitted something, then they should perform two prostrations (Sajdatayn) while still seated."
[Machine] And that he may open the mouth of the water-skin and drink from it.
[Machine] We were sitting by the door of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , discussing and debating one verse after another. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us, and it seemed as if pomegranate seeds were scattered on his face. He said, "O people! Were you sent for this reason? Were you commanded to do this? Do not go back after me as disbelievers, striking each other's necks."
[Machine] He heard Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri say that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Jibril prayed the Dhuhr prayer when the sun declined, and he prayed the Asr prayer when it became straight. He prayed the Maghrib prayer when the sun set, and he prayed the Isha prayer when the twilight disappeared. He prayed the Fajr prayer when dawn broke. Then he prayed on the second day: he prayed the Dhuhr prayer, and everything had its equivalent. He prayed the Asr prayer, and everything had its equivalent. He prayed the Maghrib prayer when an hour had passed from sunset, and he prayed the Isha prayer until the first third of the night. He prayed the Fajr prayer when the sun was about to rise." Then he said, "Prayer is between these two times."
[Machine] "He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'The five daily prayers are an expiation for what is between them.'"
[Machine] He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "The five daily prayers serve as expiation for sins committed between them."

[Machine] Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Fasting Ramadan to Ramadan is an expiation for the sins committed between them."
[Machine] A seat was mentioned which belonged to the tribe of Um Saad by a wall. A pregnant woman appeared and was questioned. She said the seat belonged to her. The person was confronted and confessed. The Prophet ﷺ ordered him to be whipped with the bunches of date-palm leaves.

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Gold is to be exchanged for gold, silver for silver, wheat for wheat, barley for barley, dates for dates, and salt for salt – like for like. Whoever gives more or takes more has committed usury." It was asked, "O Messenger of Allah ﷺ, if someone buys dates with wheat, but they will not take it except with an increase, what should he do?" The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not do it."

The Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) himself taught me the call to prayer (adhan). He asked me to pronounce: Allah is most great. Allah is most great. Allah is most great. Allah is most great: I testify that there is no god but Allah. I testify that there is no god but Allah; I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, I testify that Muhammad is Messenger of Allah. Then repeat and raise your voice; I testify that there is no god but Allah, I testify that there is no god but Allah ; I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; I testify that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah; come to prayer, come to prayer; come to salvation, come to salvation; Allah is most great. Allah is most great; there is no god but Allah. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 503)

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ used to come to Quba at any time and Bilal would give the call to prayer so that people would know that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had come and they would gather around him. One day, the Prophet ﷺ came to Quba without Bilal. The wives of the Ansar looked at each other and Sa'd went to the edge of the mosque to give the call to prayer. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked him, "What made you give the call to prayer, O Sa'd?" He replied, "By my father and mother, I saw that you were few in number and I did not see Bilal with you. I saw these wives looking at each other and looking at you, so I feared for you from them. That is why I gave the call to prayer." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You were right, O Sa'd. If you do not see Bilal with me, then give the call to prayer." So Sa'd gave the call to prayer three times during the lifetime of the Prophet ﷺ .

On the authority of his father (Sa'd) and his grandfather (Dumayrah) (according to Musa's version) who were present in the battle of Hunayn with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: After the advent of Islam, Muhallam ibn Jaththamah al-Laythi killed a man of Ashja'. That was the first blood-money decided by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ (for payment). Uyaynah spoke about the killing of al-Ashja'i, for he belonged to Ghatafan, and al-Aqra' ibn Habis spoke on behalf of Muhallam, for he belonged to Khunduf. The voices rose high, and the dispute and noise grew. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Do you not accept blood-money, Uyaynah? Uyaynah then said: No, I swear by Allah, until I cause his women to suffer the same fighting and grief as he caused my women to suffer. Again the voices rose high, and the dispute and noise grew. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Do you not accept the blood-money Uyaynah? Uyaynah gave the same reply as before, and a man of Banu Layth called Mukaytil stood up. He had a weapon and a skin shield in his hand. He said: I do not find in the beginning of Islam any illustration for what he has done except the one that "some sheep came on, and those in the front were shot; hence those in the rear ran away". (The other example is that) "make a law today and change it." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Fifty (camels) here immediately and fifty when we return to Medina. This happened during some of his journeys. Muhallam was a tall man of dark complexion. He was with the people. They continued (to make effort for him) until he was released. He sat before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, with his eyes flowing. He said: Messenger of Allah! I have done (the act) of which you have been informed. I repent to Allah, the Exalted, so ask Allah's forgiveness for me. Messenger of Allah! The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said: Did you kill him with your weapon at the beginning of Islam. O Allah! do not forgive Muhallam. He said these words loudly. AbuSalamah added: He (Muhallam) then got up while he was wiping his tears with the end of his garment. Ibn Ishaq said: His people alleged that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked forgiveness for him after that. Abu Dawud said: Al-Nadr b. Shumail said: al-ghiyar means blood-wit. They said that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed the noon prayer with us, and then he sat under the shade of a tree. Al-Aqra' ibn Habis defended Muhalim ibn Jaththamah from Khandaf. They argued in front of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , and we heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "You will take fifty camels as compensation during our journey, and fifty camels upon our return."
