[Machine] I asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what is the role of the caliph after you?" He said, "He who shows mercy to the merciful, acts justly in distribution, and divides equitably."  

الطبراني:٥٤٦١ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ النَّحْوِيُّ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِرْقٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ وَعَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ قَالَا ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ الضَّحَّاكِ قَالَا ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ زَبْرٍ عَنْ بِلَالِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَكَانَتْ لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ قَالَ

قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا لِلْخَلِيفَةِ بَعْدَكِ؟ قَالَ «مَا لِي مَا رَحِمَ ذَا الرَّحِمِ وأَقْسَطَ فِي الْقِسْطِ وَعَدَلَ فِي الْقِسْمَةِ»
