[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ told a man once, 'When the troops come, it is forbidden for the people of Medina to water the palm trees.' The man replied, 'If I were to forbid you, then you would suffer from drought. And indeed, the forbidding of the Prophets cannot be borne by the mountains.'"  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ مَرَّةً إِذَا جَاءَتِ الْأَحْزَابُ حَرِّمْ عَلَى أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ سَقْيَ النَّخْلِ فَقَالَ «لَوْ أَنِّي أُحَرِّمُ عَلَيْكُمُ احْتَرَقْتُمْ وَإِنَّ تَحْرِيمَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ لَا تُطِيقُهُ الْجِبَالُ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Beware of extremism and vanity, for the Children of Israel used to go to extremes. So much so that a short woman would take two pieces of wood, stuff them, place her feet in them, and then walk with a tall woman until she would become equal in height to her or even taller than her."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْغُلُوَّ وَالزَّهْوَ فَإِنَّ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ قَدْ غَلَا كَثِيرٌ مِنْهُمْ حَتَّى كَانَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ الْقَصِيرَةُ تَتَّخِذُ خُفَّيْنِ مِنْ خَشَبٍ تَحْشُوهُمَا ثُمَّ تُولِجُ فِيهِمَا رِجْلَيْهَا ثُمَّ تَعَمَدُ إِلَى الْمَرْأَةِ الطَّوِيلَةِ فَتَمْشِي مَعَهَا فَإِذَا هِيَ قَدْ سَاوَتْ بِهَا أَوْ كَانَتْ أَطْوَلَ مِنْهَا»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say when it rained, "O Allah, send down beautification upon our land. O Allah, send down tranquility upon our land."  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُولُ إِذَا اسْتَسْقَى الْمَطَرَ «اللهُمَّ أَنْزِلْ فِي أَرْضِنَا زِينَتَهَا اللهُمَّ أَنْزِلْ فِي أَرْضِنَا سَكَنَهَا»  

[Machine] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say, 'The Bani Ghifar and the Muslims were like a trial among the people.' They would say, 'If they were good, Allah would not have put them ahead of us.' And it (i.e., Bani Ghifar) is a source of forgiveness. Allah forgave it, and Islam brought peace to it.'"  

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يَقُولُ بَنُو غِفَارٍ وَأَسْلَمُ كَانُوا كَكَثِيرٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ فِتْنَةً يَقُولُونَ لَوْ كَانَ خَيْرًا مَا جَعَلَهُمُ اللهُ أَوَّلَ النَّاسِ فِيهِ وَإِنَّهَا غِفَارٌ غَفَرَ اللهُ لَهَا وَأَسْلَمُ سَالَمَهَا اللهُ  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say to us, "One of you will certainly feel an inclination to look at me, taking into account his family and wealth."  

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَنَا «إِنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ سَيُوشِكُ أَنْ يُحِبَّ أَنْ يَنْظُرَ إِلَيَّ نَظْرَةً بِمَا لَهُ مِنْ أَهْلٍ وَمَالٍ»  

[Machine] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to say to us, "You will soon be like salt in people's food, as food is not good without salt."  

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَنَا «يُوشِكُ أَنْ تَكُونُوا فِي النَّاسِ كَالْمِلْحِ فِي الطَّعَامِ لَا يَصْلُحُ الطَّعَامُ إِلَّا بِالْمِلْحِ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "One of you should not take as a prisoner the companion and then kill him."  

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا يَعْتَبِطْ أَحَدُكُمْ أَسِيرَ صَاحِبِهِ إِذَا أَخَذَهُ قَتَلَهُ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say, "There is not a man among you, except that I am the one holding his waistband so that he does not fall into the Fire."  

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَيْسَ مِنْكُمْ رَجُلٌ إِلَّا أَنَا مُمْسِكٌ بِحُجْزَتِهِ أَنْ يَقَعَ فِي النَّارِ»  

[Machine] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ used to say to us, "Whoever among you is killed while showing patience, seeking Allah's pleasure, will be killed in the path of Allah and will enter Paradise."  

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ لَنَا «مَنْ قُتِلَ مِنْكُمْ صَابِرًا مُقْبِلًا يُقْتَلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ made the slogan of the Muhajireen "O sons of Abdul Rahman," and the slogan of the Khazraj "O sons of Abdul Allah," and the slogan of the Aws "O sons of Ubayd Allah," and named our horses "Horses of Allah" when we were frightened.  

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ جَعَلَ شِعَارَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ يَا بَنِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَشِعَارَ الْخَزْرَجِ يَا بَنِي عَبْدِ اللهِ وَشِعَارَ الْأَوْسِ يَا بَنِي عُبَيْدِ اللهِ وَسَمَّى خَيْلَنَا خَيْلَ اللهِ إِذَا فَزِعْنَا  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to command us to unite, have patience, and remain calm when we are afraid, and when we engage in battle.  

«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا فَزِعْنَا يَأْمُرُ بِالْجَمَاعَةِ وَالصَّبْرِ وَالسَّكِينَةِ وَإِذَا قَاتَلْنَا»  

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say, "Indeed, my nation is a nation that enters Paradise without any reckoning, and amongst them are seventy thousand without any accountability."  

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «إِنَّ أُمَّتِي أُمَّةٌ تَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ بَيْنَهُمْ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفًا بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ»
